**What do you like best about Slack?**

It’s intuitive, user-friendly, and easy to navigate. Unlike Skype for Business, which we used previously, this app stores the conversation, which is really helpful.

**What do you dislike about Slack?**

Sometimes the search functionality doesn’t work as expected. For example, when I search for a person, it shows their posts across the entire org instead of taking me to their profile, which can become a cumbersome task.

**What problems is Slack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Its solving the day to day chat convos within the entire org. You can see entire org hierarchy including designations, business units and their availability in real time.

  ### 2. Keeps project communication in one place

**What do you like best about Slack?**

As an Executive Assistant supporting consulting and client-based projects, I use Slack daily to coordinate work across multiple teams and time zones. We rely heavily on project channels and client-specific channels so discussions stay organized instead of scattered across email.

One of the biggest advantages for us is the Salesforce integration. Notifications for new opportunities, task updates, and follow-ups appear directly in Slack so I can immediately assign or clarify actions with the team without opening multiple systems. This significantly speeds up response time for client requests.

Threads help keep decisions tied to the original message, especially when leadership, delivery teams, and operations are all involved in the same project. I also frequently use search to retrieve past agreements, project instructions, and shared files instead of asking colleagues again.

Overall it acts as our operational command center rather than just a chat tool.

**What do you dislike about Slack?**

During busy projects, notifications can get overwhelming and messages pile up quickly if I step away for a while. Even when something isn’t directed to me, I still get notified and end up checking it, which breaks focus and eats up time. I usually mute channels or set reminders to manage it. Important updates can also get buried when multiple conversations happen at once, especially if people don’t consistently use threads.

**What problems is Slack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before using Slack, we relied on Microsoft Teams, and conversations were harder to keep in context and scattered across different threads, which made follow-ups slower. Now most discussions live in one place, and it’s easier to share documents, updates, and decisions within the right channel. I can track approvals and action items without chasing people individually. It speeds up coordination, reduces repeated questions, and helps projects keep moving even when teammates are in different time zones.

  ### 3. Centralized Communication with Seamless Integration

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Bhushan K. | Financial Analyst ( Goldman Sachs ), Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Validated Reviewer:** Validated through LinkedIn

**Source: Organic:** Organic review. This review was written entirely without invitation or incentive from G2, a seller, or an affiliate.

**Reviewed Date:** May 14, 2026

**What do you like best about Slack?**

I find that Slack has become the central nervous system for our office communication. The ability to segment projects into specific channels helps keep our workflows organized, which is a big relief from the 'email fatigue' that used to plague our team. I love the seamless integration Slack has with tools like Google Drive and Zoom. What I appreciate most about Slack is how it manages to turn a chaotic stream of information into something actually searchable and organized. Also, the onboarding is very streamlined; creating a workspace is so quick and straightforward. Users often describe Slack as a tool they want to use, because the interface feels more intuitive and less 'clunky' compared to Microsoft Teams. Finally, the real power of Slack comes from the apps you plug into it; it's incredibly effective to bring workflows directly into channels without switching tabs.

**What do you dislike about Slack?**

The 'Notification Trap' in Slack can be a bit overwhelming during peak hours, leading to 'notification fatigue.' It often makes me feel like I'm constantly reacting to pings rather than doing focused work. Also, as a team grows, finding important information and decisions becomes challenging, since they often get buried in long threads or across multiple channels. Even with a good search tool, it’s sometimes hard to remember where a conversation happened to find the context.

**What problems is Slack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Slack organizes our office communication, minimizing email fatigue with channels for each project. It integrates seamlessly with other tools, streamlining workflows. However, notifications can be overwhelming at times. The searchability and organization of information turn chaos into something manageable.

  ### 4. A Collaborative Powerhouse with Room for UI Improvement

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Prayush G. | Risk Consultant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Validated Reviewer:** Validated through LinkedIn

**Source: Organic:** Organic review. This review was written entirely without invitation or incentive from G2, a seller, or an affiliate.

**What do you like best about Slack?**

I absolutely love the Huddle feature in Slack. We can quickly jump on a one-on-one call, and it doesn't feel too formal, which keeps the mood light and perfect for sharing ideas and discussing doubts or issues. I also enjoy how quickly we can share images and large files. Another feature I appreciate is the Slack bot, which is very efficient at keeping track of all chat conversations. It helps me easily create memos about meetings and gives me prompts for what to do, what not to do, and tracks pending tasks. The straightforward ease of setup was impressive too. Signing in with credentials and having everything ready to go, with an intuitive layout that doesn't take long to get used to, makes it very user-friendly. The GitHub integration is seamless and lets us handle PRs effortlessly.

**What do you dislike about Slack?**

For Slack, I feel like one thing that could be improved is the group organization. When we create some groups, it does not, I mean, it gets messy. When we are working in a lot of teams and connecting with different people, the dashboard side panel for the people and groups can get very messy. So that's one aspect I feel could be improved. Maybe introduce some subsections or a different UI element to segregate the groups and people a little bit better because we do get lost in that sidepanel.

**What problems is Slack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

In our cross-functional team, Slack serves as our go-to platform for communication. It keeps us all informed about projects, helps us troubleshoot bugs and fosters collaboration on new features. The environment is incredibly collaborative, allowing us to share images and files easily and quickly jump into a Huddle.

  ### 5. Great for Collaboration With Room for Improvement

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Himani J. | Internship , Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Validated Reviewer:** Validated through LinkedIn

**Source: Thank You page:** Invitation from G2. This reviewer was not provided any incentive by G2 for completing this review.

**Reviewed Date:** May 14, 2026

**What do you like best about Slack?**

I really appreciate how Slack allows the team and even people outside of the team to reach out to me anytime and vice versa. The 'Slack Channel' feature is particularly useful as it helps cut down the time on long email threads and speeds up task execution. The instant summary option has been a lifesaver for me, and I find Slack's layout to be user-friendly, which makes the setup easier despite some nuances and subtleties.

**What do you dislike about Slack?**

Slack doesn't support large-scale webinars, which is a problem for a large organization like mine. The sheer number of notifications causes the notification bar to become cluttered. The video quality during seminars and webinars is not up to the mark. Slack deletes data older than a year, which is sometimes significant for review purposes. Increasing the number of members allowed per meeting would be beneficial, and reducing the notification frequency would help as even a 'thank you' can trigger too many alerts. Although the layout is user-friendly, understanding the nuances and subtleties can be problematic for some.

**What problems is Slack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Slack allows our team and even people outside the team to reach out anytime, facilitating better communication and faster execution of tasks with its 'Slack Channel' feature.

  ### 6. Seamless Team Communication with Room for AI Improvement

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mythri K. | FinCrime Analyst - TM-EDD France, Banking, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Validated Reviewer:** Validated through LinkedIn

**Source: Organic:** Organic review. This review was written entirely without invitation or incentive from G2, a seller, or an affiliate.

**Reviewed Date:** May 14, 2026

**What do you like best about Slack?**

I use Slack for workplace communication and love its ease of use in general. Slack makes the entire company structure accessible with one click, which is incredibly convenient. It's also easy to set up workflows and link other tools like Jira and spreadsheets for work. Additionally, the initial setup was very easy, even with large teams. Everyone starts with setting up their emails and Slack profiles on day one.

**What do you dislike about Slack?**

AI integration in Slack through Slackbot needs improvements. The recaps and organization of chats as per priority could be better. The constant notifications on threads that need to be manually muted are somewhat annoying. Slackbot AI occasionally has hallucinations, which can raise the risk of misinformation in high trust environments like Financial Crimes. Also, the activity section showing a constant unread update even when checked can be irritating because it keeps showing a red dot on the app, making it hard for the inbox to go to 0.

**What problems is Slack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Slack helps with asynchronous communication across timezones, maintains to-do lists, offers reminders, and allows informal calls with huddles. It's easy to use, providing access to the company structure with one click, and integrates workflows with tools like Jira and spreadsheets.

  ### 7. Organized Channels and Integrations That Make Teamwork Faster

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nityam J. | Student, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Validated Reviewer:** Validated through LinkedIn

**Source: Organic:** Organic review. This review was written entirely without invitation or incentive from G2, a seller, or an affiliate.

**Reviewed Date:** May 14, 2026

**What do you like best about Slack?**

I like how organized Slack feels compared to regular messaging apps. Channels make it easy to separate work, projects, and team discussions without everything getting mixed together. I also like the integrations with other tools because it saves time and keeps communication in one place. Overall, it makes teamwork faster and more convenient.

**What do you dislike about Slack?**

Sometimes Slack can feel overwhelming, mainly because too many notifications and messages come in at once. In busy channels, important messages can easily get buried and be hard to find later. I also feel the free version has a few limitations, especially when it comes to accessing older message history and having enough file storage.

**What problems is Slack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Slack helps solve the problem of scattered communication. Rather than constantly switching between emails, calls, and multiple apps, I can keep everything in one place. It makes it easier for me to stay up to date with team discussions, share files quickly, and communicate faster overall. As a result, I save time and collaboration feels more efficient, especially when working on group projects or doing remote work.

  ### 8. A solid daily driver for team communication

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

This reviewer's identity has been verified by our review moderation team. They have asked not to show their

**Reviewed Date:** May 14, 2026

**What do you like best about Slack?**

Honestly, the thing I love most about Slack is how it just keeps everyone connected without feeling overwhelming. Channels make it really easy to keep different projects and teams separate, so I'm not drowning in one giant inbox. I also use threads constantly — they keep conversations organized and stop side discussions from cluttering up the main channel. The search is genuinely great too; I can dig up a file or a decision someone made months ago in seconds. Huddles have basically replaced quick "hop on a call" moments for our team, and the integrations with Google Drive, Zoom, and our project tools save me a ton of context-switching every day.

**What do you dislike about Slack?**

If I had to nitpick, notifications can get really noisy if you're in a lot of active channels, and it takes a bit of time to fine-tune your settings so you only get pinged for things that actually matter. The free plan's message history limit can also be frustrating when you need to look something up from a while back. And on busy days the desktop app can feel a little heavy on memory — my laptop fan definitely lets me know it's running. None of these are dealbreakers for me, but they're the small things I'd love to see polished up.

**What problems is Slack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Slack is really our main solution for cutting down on internal email and keeping communication moving fast. Before we adopted it, important updates would get buried in long email threads and people would miss context, especially across time zones. Now everything lives in a channel where the right people can catch up at their own pace. It's made cross-team collaboration so much smoother — designers, engineers, and project managers can all jump into the same thread instead of scheduling another meeting. Quick decisions that used to take half a day of back-and-forth now happen in minutes through huddles or a quick DM. It's genuinely saved our team a lot of time and helped us stay aligned, even when half of us are remote.

  ### 9. Efficient Communication Hub with Room for Improvement

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Priyanga J. | Virtual Assistant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Validated Reviewer:** Validated through LinkedIn

**Source: Organic:** Organic review. This review was written entirely without invitation or incentive from G2, a seller, or an affiliate.

**Reviewed Date:** May 14, 2026

**What do you like best about Slack?**

I use Slack for internal team communication, project updates, and quick response times. I appreciate how it keeps conversations organized by channels and allows for specific topic discussions in threads. The ability to share documents easily reduces the need for long email chains and helps me stay connected with team members. I like that Slack keeps communication quick and organized with separate channels for different teams and projects. Threads help keep discussions clear, making it easier to manage things. I also enjoy how smoothly Slack supports both quick conversations and structured team discussions. The integrations with tools like Google Drive, Zoom, and Calendar app are very useful and make daily work much easier for me, as they save time by bringing everything into one place for quick updates and meeting access. The initial setup of Slack was quite easy, smooth, and user-friendly. We could invite members, create channels, and start using it without complex training.

**What do you dislike about Slack?**

Too many channels and notifications sometimes feel overwhelming for me. When the workspace is very active, it's easy to miss some messages. I think the notification settings and message prioritization could be improved. The search feature can be better when trying to find some specific old message.

**What problems is Slack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Slack simplifies team communication, reducing long email chains and allowing quick access to people across diverse locations. It organizes conversations into channels and threads for easy project updates and minimizes tool-switching with integrations like Google Drive and Zoom, aiding quick access to information and meetings.

  ### 10. Efficient Team Collaboration Platform with Powerful Integrations

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

This reviewer's identity has been verified by our review moderation team. They have asked not to show their
name, job title, or picture.

**Current User:** The reviewer uploaded a screenshot or submitted the review in-app verifying them as current user.

**Validated Reviewer:** Validated through LinkedIn

**Source: Organic:** Organic review. This review was written entirely without invitation or incentive from G2, a seller, or an affiliate.

**Reviewed Date:** May 14, 2026

**What do you like best about Slack?**

Slack has been a very reliable communication platform for our team collaboration and daily workflow management. The UI is clean, modern, and easy to navigate, even for new users. I especially like how channels, threads, and direct messages help keep conversations organized instead of getting lost in long email chains.

One of Slack’s biggest strengths is its integration ecosystem. It connects smoothly with tools like Google Drive, Jira, GitHub, Zoom, and many other productivity platforms, which makes project coordination much easier. Notifications and workflow automation also save a lot of manual effort.

In terms of performance, the platform is generally fast and stable across desktop and mobile devices. File sharing, quick search, and message syncing work very well. However, sometimes the desktop app can feel slightly heavy on system resources when multiple workspaces are active.

From a pricing perspective, the free version is useful for small teams, but larger organizations may find the premium plans a bit expensive. That said, the productivity improvements and communication efficiency usually provide a good return on investment for active teams.

Customer support and onboarding are also strong points. Setting up workspaces and inviting team members is straightforward, and the help documentation is detailed enough for most users to get started quickly.

The newer AI-powered features, like message summaries and search assistance, are promising and help improve productivity by reducing time spent catching up on conversations.

Overall, Slack is an excellent collaboration and communication tool that improves team coordination, especially for remote and hybrid work environments.

**What do you dislike about Slack?**

One thing I dislike about Slack is that notifications can become overwhelming, especially in large organizations with many active channels. It sometimes becomes difficult to keep track of important conversations when there are constant message updates throughout the day.

The desktop application can also consume a noticeable amount of system memory compared to some lighter communication tools. In addition, the search feature, while useful, occasionally struggles to surface older messages or files quickly when workspaces contain a large amount of historical data.

Another downside is the pricing structure for premium plans, which may feel expensive for startups or smaller teams that need advanced features like extended message history and better admin controls.

While Slack’s AI features are improving, some of them still feel limited and could become more context-aware to provide smarter summaries and recommendations.

**What problems is Slack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Slack solves the problem of fragmented team communication by bringing messaging, file sharing, project discussions, and integrations into one centralized platform. Instead of relying heavily on long email threads or switching between multiple tools, teams can collaborate in real time through organized channels and direct communication.

This has benefited me by improving response time, reducing communication gaps, and making collaboration much smoother, especially while working on development tasks with distributed teams. Features like searchable conversations, threaded discussions, and integrations with tools like Jira and GitHub help keep project updates and technical discussions in one place, which increases productivity and saves time.

Slack also helps with transparency across teams because important updates, announcements, and decisions are easier to track and revisit when needed. Overall, it creates a more efficient and organized workflow for day-to-day team collaboration.

  ### 11. Efficient Communication, Seamless Tool Integration

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alok p. | Software Developer Internship, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Validated Reviewer:** Validated through LinkedIn

**Source: Organic:** Organic review. This review was written entirely without invitation or incentive from G2, a seller, or an affiliate.

**Reviewed Date:** May 14, 2026

**What do you like best about Slack?**

I use Slack for work, mainly to communicate with my teammates. I find the UI very clean and easy to navigate, which helps me communicate faster. I love how easy it is to configure Slack bots, which we use for notifications like server errors and merging development changes to production. I also appreciate Slack's huddle feature for quick meetings. The channels feature helps in separating conversations by projects or teams, reducing clutter. I find it great that Slack bots automate routine tasks like reminders, deployment updates, and status alerts, which cuts down on manual work. Integrating many tools like Loom and Zight into Slack is straightforward. Lastly, the initial setup was simple and user-friendly, with a quick guide that was very helpful.

**What do you dislike about Slack?**

I wish they could add a record option in Huddle so we can review meetings and share them with teammates who weren't present. Also, I'm using Slack on Ubuntu, and every time I start my system and open Slack, it prompts me to sign up via the browser. Sometimes the default Slack bots bother me, like when I share a Drive link, and it alerts me a few minutes later that I haven't integrated the service in Slack.

**What problems is Slack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Slack for faster communication with my teammates. Channels reduce clutter by separating projects, while bots automate tasks like notifications and deployment updates, cutting down on manual work.

  ### 12. Instant Team Sync and Seamless Dev Collaboration

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Yash D. | Software Development Engineer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Validated Reviewer:** Validated through LinkedIn

**Source: Organic:** Organic review. This review was written entirely without invitation or incentive from G2, a seller, or an affiliate.

**Reviewed Date:** May 14, 2026

**What do you like best about Slack?**

I use Slack every day to communicate with my teammates, and it's a really great way to collaborate with teams. The messaging and link sharing, as well as JSON or code sharing, is really smooth. I really love the Huddle feature as it lets me instantly connect with colleagues through audio and video, and I can even screen share. It's perfect for those quick syncs that don't need a full invite. As a developer who works with JSONs and code, being able to send code and JSON files in the proper format is a huge plus. The integration with apps like JIRA is really useful, as I get notifications when a ticket is updated, assigned, or commented on. Setting up Slack was too easy with the simple Google login.

**What do you dislike about Slack?**

One issue is Huddle has no feature of recording, so whoever misses the call has no way to catch up. Like Zoom lets you record and save meetings easily, but Huddle has no way to catch up.

**What problems is Slack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Slack for seamless team communication and collaboration. It reduces the clutter of email and unnecessary meetings, keeps important updates organized, and offers great features like Huddle for instant audio/video calls and smooth code sharing.

  ### 13. Robust Messaging Platform with a Learning Curve

At G2, we prefer fresh reviews and we like to follow up with reviewers. They may not have updated their review text, but have updated their review.

**What do you like best about Slack?**

I really like Slack because it is just so easy to use. Each and every feature seems like it has been enhanced in a way that no other software can easily replace it. The tagging system is great because we can tag people and easily navigate through each group. I have over 150 projects, and the navigation is really easy. One of the best features is the ability to swipe through all the tags if someone has tagged me or if there is a post related to me. Slack has a feature that allows me to swipe back and check for messages I might have missed, which is really helpful. This has been really beneficial for me, especially when I discover that I've missed an important message after a few days. I can just swipe and find it. Another great thing is that Slack is easily integrated into nearly all software and CRMs, which I find very useful because I use it everywhere for my office purposes.

**What do you dislike about Slack?**

Sometimes there's not enough customization related to when it should show us automatically active. There are some options available, but I think there should be more customizations. The setup was a little complicated, and it's not that easy to use. It takes some time to get used to it, especially for new team members, because of the learning curve.

**What problems is Slack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Slack makes it easy to navigate groups for my work, handle over 150 projects, and use tags effectively. The feature to swipe and catch missed messages is really helpful for completing tasks accurately.

  ### 14. the digital central nervous system: a double-edged sword for the modern workplace

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Shlok T. | Web Developer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Validated Reviewer:** Validated through LinkedIn

**Source: Organic:** Organic review. This review was written entirely without invitation or incentive from G2, a seller, or an affiliate.

**Reviewed Date:** May 14, 2026

**What do you like best about Slack?**

slack is the definitive replacement for the fragmented mess of corporate email by forcing communication into organized searchable channels that actually make sense for a workflow

why it works
the primary strength of the platform is how it functions as a central nervous system for operations it doesnt just host chat it integrates directly with dev tools like github and management platforms like jira which minimizes the constant context switching that kills productivity

organizational clarity channels allow for topical focus so conversations about specific projects dont get buried in a general inbox

huddles this feature successfully mimics real life desk side chats by offering low friction audio without the exhaustion of a scheduled video call

the tradeoff
while it excels at connectivity it creates a culture of perceived urgency the notification bait can lead to a fragmented focus where employees spend more time talking about work than actually doing it if a team lacks the discipline to set boundaries slack becomes a high speed distraction machine

**What do you dislike about Slack?**

slack is far from a perfect tool and its greatest strengths often double as its most frustrating flaws when used in a high pressure environment

the productivity trap
the biggest issue is the illusion of productivity slack creates a culture of "performative presence" where staying green on the sidebar becomes more important than actual deep work the constant stream of notifications and the "always on" expectation can fragment a developers focus making it nearly impossible to enter a flow state without aggressively silencing the app

search and data silos
while the search is decent it becomes a nightmare in large organizations information gets buried in private channels or direct messages creating silos where knowledge goes to die if you arent in the right channel you are locked out of the context and trying to find a specific decision made three months ago in a high volume thread is like looking for a needle in a digital haystack

the cost of entry
the pricing model is borderline predatory for growing teams the jump from the free tier to a paid plan is steep and because slack locks your message history behind a paywall it essentially holds your company’s internal knowledge base hostage until you pay up

feature bloat
recent updates have pushed the interface toward clutter the addition of clips stories and various "productivity" widgets often feel like unnecessary bloat that slows down the desktop client it started as a lightweight chat tool but is slowly turning into the very type of heavy enterprise software it originally sought to replace

verdict
it is an engagement monster that rewards speed over quality unless a team has strict protocols for how and when to use it slack quickly devolves from a communication tool into a source of constant anxiety and distraction

**What problems is Slack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

slack fundamentally addresses the fragmentation of professional life by consolidating disparate workflows into a single interface

the core problems it solves
information silo destruction before slack institutional knowledge was trapped in individual email inboxes which made onboarding a nightmare and caused repeated mistakes because the "why" behind a decision was invisible to the rest of the team channels provide a transparent history of every project

the toggle tax switching between a browser for jira a desktop app for github and an email client for communication is a massive cognitive drain by integrating these tools into one sidebar slack reduces the friction of moving between development and coordination

sync vs async balance scheduled meetings are often an expensive waste of time slack solves this by offering huddles for quick 5-minute syncs and threads for long-form async updates which allows people to work on their own schedules without losing the pulse of the team

how it benefits the workflow
the primary benefit is the creation of a searchable brain for the organization when a bug pops up or a client asks for a specific detail from a meeting three months ago the answers are accessible in seconds rather than being lost in the void of a deleted email thread

it also streamlines the development lifecycle by acting as a notification center for code reviews and deployment statuses you don't have to go looking for updates the updates find you in a place where you can immediately discuss them with the team

ultimately it transforms work from a series of isolated tasks into a continuous collaborative stream but as mentioned before the benefit only holds if you have the discipline to shut it off when it’s time to actually get the work done

  ### 15. User-Friendly, Effective Communication Tool with Room for Improvement

**What do you like best about Slack?**

I like that Slack is very user friendly and easy to use. The emoji selection is really very nice, allowing me to quickly communicate emotions or reactions without always having to type everything out. There's a wide option of emojis which is great because not everything needs to be communicated through text; sometimes an emoji can convey what I mean just as effectively. I also appreciate the multiple thread functions, which help in managing conversations easily. This feature is especially useful when there are multiple people discussing various issues, as it allows us to reply on specific threads without losing track of the conversation.

**What do you dislike about Slack?**

I think, yeah, the prompting thing, actually. So whenever we sometimes, you know, type a lot of paragraphs and sentences, I want to prompt about the incorrect spellings and stuff and what could be the correct spelling. I think that is the part that is missing right now. But, yes, that is a scope of improvement in Slack.

**What problems is Slack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Slack to communicate with my team, create groups for large audiences, initiate quick conference calls, and summarize details with AI bot features.

**What do you like best about Slack?**

I really like Slack because it makes communication with a global team very easy. The channels allow us to keep conversations organized by project or topic, so finding information is simple. I also appreciate the real-time messaging and notifications, which help me stay updated and respond quickly. The huddle feature makes my work even easier. Slack helps streamline collaboration and keeps everyone aligned, even when working across different time zones. Additionally, the integration with other tools helps centralize information, improving our workflow. The initial setup was very easy, and our team adopted it quickly without needing much guidance or training.

**What do you dislike about Slack?**

One area where Slack could be improved is thread notifications. Sometimes it's easy to miss replies in threads, especially when there are many active conversations at the same time. Improving the visibility and consistency of thread notifications would make it easier to follow discussions and ensure that important responses are not overlooked. Beyond thread notifications, one possible improvement could be giving users more flexibility to customize notifications, so it's easier to prioritize what really needs attention.

**What problems is Slack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Slack to keep my global team connected with real-time messaging. It organizes conversations by channels, helping us stay updated and reducing confusion. Its integrations with other tools streamline our workflow, making collaboration more efficient even across different time zones.

At G2, we prefer fresh reviews and we like to follow up with reviewers. They may not have updated their review text, but have updated their review.

**What do you like best about Slack?**

I really like Slack's ease of usability. It's great how everything gets synchronized easily when dropping messages or sharing files. Communicating across different channels and subchannels is very straightforward and organized, so it's hard to get confused. The responsiveness and speed of Slack make it an excellent tool for our team.

**What do you dislike about Slack?**

Sometimes the notifications are missed when a new update is pushed. This kind of destroys and delays and costs a lot in ROI. Notifications can be lost not because of any misconfigured settings or some actual bug at the end, but it generally happens when Slack tries to update. Over time, Slack becomes buggy, or when a new feature is pushed, sometimes old features break. The dependency on Slack is a lot, and that becomes a real challenge.

**What problems is Slack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Slack for real-time communication across multiple time zones, both internally and with clients. It integrates with various tools, keeps everything organized, and replaces sluggish email and less responsive platforms.

  ### 18. Seamless Communication but Needs Better Free-plan Features

**What do you like best about Slack?**

I use Slack for projects and team communications, and it keeps everything organized much more efficiently than email for day-to-day activities. The channel system is what I like the most; being able to create separate channels for different subjects and projects keeps everything neatly organized. I don't have to scroll through giant chats to find what I need. I have separate channels for each subject, general group chats, and even a private one for saving links and resources. Setting up Slack was pretty straightforward, and the onboarding flow did a decent job of walking me through the basics. Slack has genuinely transformed how I collaborate with classmates.

**What do you dislike about Slack?**

The 90 days message history and free plan limitation means my older conversations and files disappear. It would be useful to revisit old conversations and connect it seamlessly. This limit on the free plan is honestly the biggest highlight. Reference with old notes is missing; whether it is a study resource or professor advice shared in group, it disappears after 90 days. There's no way to recover without upgrading the current plan.

**What problems is Slack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Slack organizes project communications, eliminating chaos from email and WhatsApp. The channel system keeps my subjects and projects separate, saving me from scrolling through endless chats. It's more organized, centralizing files, deadlines, and conversations in one spot.

  ### 19. Friendly, Simple Collaboration with Helpful Extensions

**What do you like best about Slack?**

It’s very friendly and straightforward to connect with other team members, including people working remotely. It’s also easy to use, with no complex UI, and that’s my favorite part. Another thing I really like is the extensions, which help me organize my day in a better way.

**What do you dislike about Slack?**

I don’t really have anything to hate about it. Overall, I’d say it’s a really good product. One feature I’d love to see is voice-to-text and text-to-voice, which would be a nice addition. A discount on pricing for individual users would also be appreciated. The onboarding is easy, and I have no complaints about that part. It’s also nice that new AI features are being added. And to be frank, I don’t have any complaints about performance either.

**What problems is Slack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps connect people in different locations at the best speed possible on earth. It’s also handy and easy to use.

**What do you like best about Slack?**

We run all client communication through Slack Connect, one shared channel per client. We ask every client to move off email and into Slack with us, and most do. Klaviyo previews, design feedback, and campaign approvals happen inline, with huddles for anything that doesn't fit in text. Search is fast enough that I can pull up a decision from months ago without asking anyone. Internal work lives in ClickUp, so Slack stays clean as the client comms layer.

**What do you dislike about Slack?**

Notification fatigue. With one channel per client plus internal channels, the default noise level is high and you have to actively tune it. We spent real time muting low-signal channels and turning off automated status pings that just mirrored what was already in ClickUp. Pricing per seat also adds up quickly as the team grows, and the AI features sit behind a tier I'd rather not pay for.

**What problems is Slack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Slack replaces email as our client communication channel. Each client gets one Slack Connect channel where strategy questions, campaign previews, and approvals all live in one place, instead of scattered across inboxes and CCs. That means faster decisions on campaigns we want out the door this week, and full context for whoever on our team picks up the next task. Huddles cover the rest when a quick voice call is faster than typing.

  ### 21. Easy-to-Use, nice UI, Reliable Performance with Great Integrations

**What do you like best about Slack?**

The user interface of Slack is easy to navigate and use. Likewise, the integrations for receiving notifications from other 3rd-party tools work nicely. In terms of performance, it’s quite wonderful to use on both mobile and desktop; the two views feel optimized and give you what you need. I haven't experienced any downtime in a very long time.<br><br>For the pricing tier, it’s kind of on the high end for some regions. It’s good enough overall, but I still think it should be cheaper in certain regions compared to others. For support and onboarding, it’s quite easy. They provide easy and quick help. As for the AI intelligence, I haven’t really used it yet, so I can’t say much about it.

**What do you dislike about Slack?**

The abstraction of channels is not tiered well enough, with a little bit of expertise, one can navigate into channels that were not intended for them to be in. The notification freezes sometimes on mobile.

**What problems is Slack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Communication and Collaboration among teammates and within the company and partners

What I like best about Slack is how easy it makes team communication and collaboration. I can quickly message coworkers, organize conversations into channels, share files, and get updates without relying heavily on email. It also integrates well with other tools, which helps keep work and information in one place

**What do you dislike about Slack?**

What I dislike about Slack is that it can become overwhelming when there are too many channels and messages. Important information can get buried quickly, and frequent notifications can sometimes be distracting and reduce productivity.

**What problems is Slack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Lack of data

  ### 23. Slack: Essential for Team Communication and Collaboration

**What do you like best about Slack?**

I like the user interface; it's very straightforward to use. I appreciate how you can organize chats with different team members and create channels. I also like the integrations Slack has with Google Drive and Google Workspace, which are very handy when we need to share documents with the team. What I like most about Slack is that it is universal in terms of accessibility. I can easily access it on my phone, home computer, work computer, through a web-based browser, or through the app; it's all very conveniently accessible.

**What do you dislike about Slack?**

I think if you're coming from a different app experience, like Teams or Zoom, there could be a bit of a learning curve. I feel like for new users of Slack, there could be better tutorials on how to best make use of it. A lot of it, I had to sort of figure out on my own.

**What problems is Slack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Slack as a central point for our team to discuss on-the-fly events and share insights, making it easy to plan future meetings and events with customers.

  ### 24. Streamlined Communication for Large Teams

**What do you like best about Slack?**

I really appreciate that Slack's channels help keep conversations organized and reduce confusion. The powerful search feature is great for quickly finding past decisions and files. I love how integrations bring updates from other tools into one place, reducing context switching. The async-friendly communication is a major plus, as it cuts down on meetings and supports remote work. Quick messaging really speeds up problem-solving and helps maintain a low-friction communication culture. The transparency feature improves team alignment. Using Slack alongside tools like Asana, JIRA, Google Drive, Zoom, Google Calendar, Zendesk, or Salesforce makes it even more powerful, seamlessly integrating with our workflow. Slack's straightforward initial setup works well for any team size, and the platform supports over 500 of us in our large company.

**What do you dislike about Slack?**

I get notification overload, which can be really overwhelming. There's message overload, too, which makes it hard to keep track of important info. Sometimes, threads can get confusing, especially when conversations get lengthy or diverge. The search feature has its limitations, which makes finding certain messages or files a bit tricky. There’s still quite a bit of context switching, and it's not ideal as a long-term knowledge base because information can easily get buried.

**What problems is Slack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Slack reduces email overload, improves tool integration, speeds decision-making, and connects remote teams. Channels and search help organize communication, and integration with other tools reduces context switching. Asynchronous communication cuts meetings, aiding remote work and enhancing team alignment.

**What do you like best about Slack?**

Slack is my go-to app for seamless work collaboration in my office. I love the organized channels and seamless app integration. The Huddle feature stands out because it allows for quick informal audio calls without setting up a meeting invitation or sharing links. I also appreciate app alerts from Google Calendar, Git, and other custom apps as they prevent frequent context-switching between apps. The initial setup was seamless and easy, with options to create multiple workspaces for different departments in the company. The Slack Connect feature is useful for inviting others. Onboarding others on Slack was seamless and smooth even as we grew from 30,000 to 70,000 people. Slack is definitely a great communication and collaboration tool for mid-large enterprises and good for keeping track of things in a single place.

**What do you dislike about Slack?**

The one feature that I think can be improved is the thread feature, although it is great for keeping the channels clean, it often leads to hidden conversations if I am not explicitly mentioned and hence I miss the entire decision-making process happening inside the thread. It should be improved by summarizing the thread, which shall only be visible to me or the user who needs to respond to the thread.

**What problems is Slack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Slack to reduce email clutter and resolve scattered communication, bringing transparency and alignment on project updates.

**What do you like best about Slack?**

I mainly use Slack for team communication and collaboration in my daily work. It really helps me keep things organized in one place, with dedicated channels that keep everything focused, transparent, and organized. The Slack bot is very useful for automating routine tasks like reminders, notifications, quick updates, and summarizing channel messages, allowing me to never miss anything important. Slack has a powerful search functionality which helps me find past messages and files easily. Its smooth UI, experience you a clean, simple, and easy to navigate even for new users. I find it very easy for file sharing and collaboration. Additionally, documenting work through Slack Canvas is a plus. Integrating Slack with Salesforce, project management platforms, and version control systems helps me get real-time updates and reduces time spent switching tabs, boosting team productivity. The setup was really easy and quick for our team, making it straightforward to create channels, invite members, and integrate tools like Salesforce.

**What do you dislike about Slack?**

There are a few areas where Slack could be improved. Firstly, the notifications are not properly managed. In an active workspace with multiple channels, it sometimes becomes difficult to manage and prioritize messages even with custom notification settings. Second is message organization in a long thread, which sometimes becomes tedious and difficult to get the important points from. Read receipts is also something I want Slack to implement so that users at least know when someone has read their message.

**What problems is Slack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Slack organizes communication and keeps everything transparent with dedicated channels. It helps me automate tasks, summarize conversations, and integrate with tools like Salesforce, boosting my team's productivity and speeding up collaboration.

**What do you like best about Slack?**

I see Slack as a rubber band holding the team together. I love it for managing users and groups, and for integrating Slack webhooks. Slack solves the problem of endless email chains and lets us solve things in seconds with simple processes that don’t require email approvals. I enjoy having all my notes quickly accessible in my self chat. I appreciate the mobile, desktop, and web availability, and I'm impressed by its amazing UI. Huddles for meetings are great for quick one-on-ones without scheduling hassle, and I find the audio and video quality good. The seamless sync is fantastic, allowing me to check Slack on the go and receive direct communications without email clutter. Overall, I have no complaints about the UI, the setup was a breeze, and the integrations with tools like Jira and webhooks enhance its utility for me.

**What do you dislike about Slack?**

The noise after the huddle ends or someone leaves is a nuisance, it just plays continuous jazz music until you manually disconnect the call.

**What problems is Slack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Slack eliminates the endless email chains, making processes quick and simple. It acts as a central hub for managing users, groups, and integrations, and provides quick access to personal notes.

I really appreciate the smooth UI/UX that Slack offers, especially when compared to others like Teams. The concept of groups and channels is great, and I love being able to connect applications like Jira or GitHub, turning Slack into a central hub for everything. I also find it useful that I can check my teammates' status and use the Huddle feature for calls without needing third-party software. The ease of setup was a breeze for me, and most of it was already handled by the team when I joined. Slack is the main app we use for connecting, especially since many of us work remotely.

The meetings connectivity is another feature I appreciate, making it easy to connect with my remote team and escalate issues promptly. Setting up Slack was very easy and efficient, and that's something I really value.

**What do you dislike about Slack?**

Slack direct voice chat is sometimes a hit or miss. So, it needs some improvement. The connectivity and reliability should be looked upon.

**What problems is Slack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Slack to connect with teammates, do project reporting, and log attendance. It connects remote teams, allowing timely issue escalation. It assists in daily calls and sends reminders via Google Calendar integration. Its easy navigation makes finding things like pins and notes simple.

**What do you like best about Slack?**

What I like most about Slack is how it centralizes team communication and keeps everything organized in one place. Channels and threads make conversations easy to follow, and the powerful search function means past discussions and shared files are always easy to find. Its seamless integrations with tools like Jira, Zoom, and GitHub also make Slack feel like a true collaboration hub, helping our team respond more quickly and stay aligned. Overall, it cuts down on email clutter and boosts productivity across projects.

**What do you dislike about Slack?**

Slack can sometimes feel overwhelming, especially when message volume is high and notifications are frequent in active channels. In busy conversations, it can also be difficult to quickly find key information, and the free plan’s message history limits may restrict access to older messages when you need to look back.

**What problems is Slack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Slack addresses fragmented communication by bringing team conversations, files, and tools together in one centralized platform. This cuts down on reliance on email and scattered chats, making collaboration faster, clearer, and more transparent. **What do you like best about Slack?**

What I like most about Slack is how easy it makes staying connected with my team. I don't have to send long emails or wait for replies. Everything happens in messages, and it feels fast and natural. I also like how channels keep things organized. If I want to check something related to a project, I just open that channel, and everything is there. The search works well too, so even old messages are easy to find. It saves me time because I don't get lost in different apps. I can send files, text someone, or hop on a quick call all from the same place.

**What do you dislike about Slack?**

One thing I don't like is that messages can pile up really fast. If I'm away for a few hours, catching up sometimes feels a bit trying. Notifications can also get overwhelming unless I adjust them. Another small issue is that the app feels heavy when I have many channels open. Sometimes it takes a moment to load older messages or search results. Not a major problem, but a thing I notice during daily use.

**What problems is Slack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Slack solves the problem of scattered communication. Before using it, my work messages were spread across email, WhatsApp, and random calls. It was hard to track what was said where. With Slack, everything stays in one spot. I don't lose information anymore. It helps me stay organized without putting in extra effort. It also makes teamwork smoother. If someone needs help, they just message the channel, and whoever is free replies. There's less waiting, less confusion, and fewer repeated questions. Sending files or code snippets is quick, so work moves faster. It keeps me connected with my team even when I'm working from home or moving around. It saves me time because I don't have to switch between different apps to talk to people. Everything I need is already inside Slack, so my workflow feels smoother. It also helps reduce misunderstandings. Since messages stay in the channel, everyone sees the same information, and nothing gets lost between private chats. Another thing iis that keeps me focused is If I'm working on one project, I check only that project's channel and avoid unnecessary distraction. It also helps me remember decisions. Instead of trying to recall what someone said on a call, I just scroll up and reread the conversation. Sharing small updates becomes easier too. I don't need to write a long explanation; a short message is enough, and the team gets it right away. It helps my team members catch up faster. They can read the past message and understand what's going on without asking a lot of questions. It makes teamwork feel more connected. Even if everyone is working from different places, Slack makes it feel like we're in the same room.

**What do you like best about Slack?**

I really like the interface of Slack and the functionalities it offers. By using public and private channels in Slack, we can organize our teams, groups, and projects. I also like that group chats can be muted when outside of work hours. I find threads appealing, and the best part is that it supports emojis, which makes messages more impactful.

**What do you dislike about Slack?**

Yes, so the thing is that we can improve the fee functionality for granting access to public channels a bit more. Plus, the part about collaboration with external organizations or the path of shared channels can be made better by making it more security encrypted. That's the only thing that can be improved.

**What problems is Slack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Slack for office meetings and to connect with external stakeholders. It helps keep the team up to date and connected. Slack is very easy to use and accessible, making it simple for the team to maintain a work-life balance.

**What do you like best about Slack?**

I like how easy Slack makes it to keep conversations organized around specific teams, projects, and topics without everything getting buried in email. The integrations and search are also really useful when you are working across a lot of different systems.

**What do you dislike about Slack?**

The biggest downside is that it can become noisy very quickly. Between channels, direct messages, threads, and notifications, important information can still get lost if teams are not disciplined about how they use it.

**What problems is Slack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Slack helps reduce the amount of back-and-forth that would otherwise happen through email and gives teams a faster way to collaborate around specific projects or issues. It also makes it easier to keep conversations, files, and decisions together in one place so people can quickly get up to speed.

**What do you like best about Slack?**

As a UX designer, I’m hyper-aware of how tools shape team behavior and workflow efficiency. Slack stands out because its design truly respects how people work. The interface is clean, intuitive, and thoughtfully organized you can immediately understand channels, threads, and direct messages without any training. It's one of those rare tools where the user experience fades into the background, letting you focus entirely on the conversation and work at hand. I also deeply appreciate the customization options. The ability to adjust notification preferences, theme colors, and sidebar organization means every team member can tailor it to their personal workflow. And the integrations are seamless—having tools like Google Drive, Jira, and Figma right inside conversations reduces context switching dramatically.

**What do you dislike about Slack?**

Sometimes the sheer number of channels and notifications can become overwhelming, especially in larger organizations. While the mute and notification settings are robust, it requires deliberate effort from teams to establish healthy communication norms. A more intelligent default notification setup for new users might help ease this.

**What problems is Slack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Slack solves the problem of fragmented communication—emails, quick chats, file sharing, and updates all living in different places. By centralizing everything in a searchable, organized workspace, it's made our team more transparent and aligned. The benefit has been fewer miscommunications, faster decision-making, and a much clearer record of why decisions were made. For a design team like ours, that clarity is invaluable.

  ### 37. Streamlined, Channel-Based Communication That Keeps Workflows Connected

**What do you like best about Slack?**

Slack is one of the best communication tools for an organization. It feels very streamlined across channels and tools, and it’s especially helpful when integrating different tools into the workflow. The channel-based structure and indexing are some of Slack’s best features, and they make it a strong communication tool in the market.

**What do you dislike about Slack?**

Sometimes, searching for a specific project or an older thread can be time consuming.

**What problems is Slack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It keeps me up to date on the current project and provides great communication tools during production hours, thanks to its strong notification algorithms. I must say, the best collaboration and communication happens via Slack.

**What do you like best about Slack?**

A home for WebCongress teams and projects globally. Our team uses Slack to manage complex clients and internal projects. We organize each mission into teams with goals and tasks and also use integrations with Jira, Microsoft, and our CRM to make sure we combine data and pull information to help everyone work better.

**What do you dislike about Slack?**

Sometimes so many options feel confusing, maybe some more intuitive navigations and tagging system would help our non-technical teams to also leverage all the benefits of Slack!

**What problems is Slack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Connect ideas and teams on a timely manner, specially because we run events and intensive programs that depend on lots of local and technical information, having Slack allows us to be much more efficient on each mission.

**What do you like best about Slack?**

I use Slack for my contractual work at an AI-based company, and it has streamlined the project very effectively by allowing for a decentralized form of communication. I find the huddle mode to be very effective and convenient as it allows for 1:1 calls and can be extended to conference calls. I also appreciate the deep integration of various other apps, including Microsoft tools. Additionally, the search feature inside Slack is superb, allowing filtering of media and contacts, which has increased my overall efficiency.

**What do you dislike about Slack?**

I remember particularly disliking when I was working as an intern for some startup, where they used the free tier of Slack and i happened to notice that messages older than 3 months would get deleted permanently.

**What problems is Slack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Slack has streamlined my projects with decentralized communication, boosted my efficiency with an excellent search feature, and provides effective and convenient huddle mode for calls.

  ### 40. Slack’s Flexible Automations and Integrations Make Work More Convenient

**What do you like best about Slack?**

Slack’s automations and overall flexibility have actually helped me automate my work. I have been using Slack for 2.5 years now, and I’ve found it very convenient. It includes features to add Google Drive, Gmail, and Calendar, which helps me stay updated. The channel templates help you build a good, informative space, and it’s also useful because you can edit and delete messages, or reply to a single message without starting a new chain. You can even message yourself, which is helpful for keeping notes. There are several ways to customize the UI, like marking VIPs and turning off notifications when you don’t need them. You can also make calls directly through Slack. Overall, it’s a handy tool to have around.

**What do you dislike about Slack?**

Sometimes it stops responding or doesn’t function smoothly. The navigation and UI also keep changing very frequently, which can be confusing, because I’m often unable to find the option I need to reach the desired setting.

**What problems is Slack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Communication is smoother, engagement is smoother, information can be passed down easily. Automation helps stay updated and help providing data easily.

  ### 41. Slack Streamlines Team Communication with Powerful Integrations

At G2, we prefer fresh reviews and we like to follow up with reviewers. They may not have updated their review text, but have updated their review.

**What do you like best about Slack?**

What I like best about Slack is how it simplifies team communication by bringing everything into one place. Channels make it easy to organize conversations by project or topic, and it reduces the need for long email threads.

I also like its strong integration capabilities with tools like Salesforce, Google Drive, and Jira, which helps keep work connected and transparent. Features like search, file sharing, and real-time messaging make collaboration faster and more efficient, especially for distributed teams.

**What do you dislike about Slack?**

One drawback of Slack is that it can become overwhelming if there are too many channels or high message volume, which can make it harder to keep track of important information. Notifications can also be distracting if not managed properly.

In addition, for some teams, important discussions can get buried in chat history, making it easy to miss key decisions unless there is strong discipline in how channels are organized and used.

**What problems is Slack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Slack solves the problem of fragmented and slow team communication by centralizing conversations, files, and collaboration in one platform. It reduces reliance on email and helps teams communicate in real time through channels, direct messages, and integrated tools.

This benefits me by improving collaboration speed and clarity, especially when working with distributed teams. It makes it easier to coordinate projects, share updates instantly, and keep all relevant discussions connected to the right context. Integrations with tools like Salesforce also help streamline workflows and reduce switching between systems, which increases overall productivity.

  ### 42. Great for Multi-Channel Collaboration, but Switching from Teams Takes Adjusting

**What do you like best about Slack?**

The most helpful feature for me is being able to create multiple channels with the colleagues I need. It makes it much easier to manage workflows and coordinate work across different areas, so everything feels more efficient and collaborative.

**What do you dislike about Slack?**

Switching to this from other platforms like Teams can feel pretty disorienting at first. On top of that, the notifications can be overwhelming or distracting, especially when they come through during deep work sessions or while I’m in meetings.

**What problems is Slack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Slack helps me stay organized and handle prioritization issues when they come up. I can create to-do lists, share them when needed, and quickly reach anyone on my team, whether I’m at my computer or using my phone. Overall, Slack works very well for me.

I like that Slack is easy to use, making it simple to onboard new employees so they can start communicating quickly. The features are really good for my team, allowing us to text each other, quickly jump onto a Huddle, and share documents efficiently. We particularly enjoy sharing gifs, which livens up conversations and keeps the team motivated during long projects. It helps bring a little humor to our days, and ensures the setup process was very easy since it came pre-installed on my work laptop.

**What do you like best about Slack?**

Slack is the gold standard for workplace communication. I’ve been using it for the past 10 years, and over that entire time it has stayed consistently reliable and dependable.

**What do you dislike about Slack?**

Honestly, I can’t think of anything I dislike. The only small issue I’ve noticed is that notifications I’ve already read sometimes stay marked as unread for a while, but it’s very minor.

**What problems is Slack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

File sharing is good and works well for what I need. Huddles are great, especially when I want to jump into a quick conversation without a lot of setup. Group chats are also really useful, and Slack Connect is awesome for staying connected and collaborating with people outside my team.

**What do you like best about Slack?**

What I like most about Slack is how easy it makes quick collaboration through Huddles, they feel much lighter and faster than scheduling meetings. The AI thread summaries are also really useful for catching up on long conversations without reading every message, especially across busy channels.

**What do you dislike about Slack?**

One thing I dislike about Slack is that presence and notification controls can feel inconsistent. Sometimes changing your status to Active/Away or fully turning off notifications isn’t as or reliable as it should be, which can make it harder to properly disconnect or manage focus time.

**What problems is Slack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Slack solves the problem of scattered communication by bringing chats, meetings, updates, and tools into one place.

**What do you like best about Slack?**

It is user friendly, easy to understand once used for a week to know what is difference between channels and groups.
We can integrate our project management tools so that if any task is ready to work on or gets completed, a channel / specific person would get the message. It has never hanged, it is always a smooth experience.
Slack is available free for individual users who get connected to particular enterprises. We can connect with multiple enterprises on slack. Onboarding is smooth like just accept the invite and join. AI feature like AI bot is Slackbot who helps respond to set questions automatically when someone sends message about set things.

**What do you dislike about Slack?**

The notification schedule asks to enter start and end while I just want to keep it 24 by 7, I don't have that option.
There should be various themes to select from for background.
It should have whatsapp / text message integration added sooner.
Performance is smooth as I said. Pricing is something that enterprise level need to think about. Onboarding is already smooth. AI bot can help identify spam messages to improve channel interactions.

**What problems is Slack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

User interface helps to connect with right people and go to right channel to speak about. Integrations helps to boost performance of the device being used by not needing to move to other apps. Pricing is something enterprise will think about. Onboarding in the 2-3 steps is the best time saving and starting to work, AI bot does respond in time and immediately online chat gpt or so.

What I liked most about Slack was being able to access the tasks my coach posted, along with how easy it was to communicate with other coaches and learners throughout the process. The constant notifications also helped me keep up with messages, so I could come back to any missed conversations later at my leisure.

**What do you dislike about Slack?**

Honestly, I didn’t dislike anything about Slack.

**What problems is Slack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps solve communication issues across an entire group or organization. The biggest benefit for me has been being able to stay in touch and keep up to date with what’s going on.

**What do you like best about Slack?**

I have been using Slack for my team communication for years now. It has a very friendly and fresh UI, and the UX is pretty easy, which can be easily learnt by anyone. Channels are a great strength of Slack, which keeps everybody well connected, both for remote and office set-up work.

I have literally integrated most of my tools with Slack for easy tracking and notifications, like Google Drive, Google Calendar, Jira, Notion, Zoom, and the list goes on. The Performance is pretty good, no lag, and quite fast for huddles and conversations. I have never come across any troubleshooting problems with Slack, which has led me to reach out to the support team, but I strongly believe Slack would be amazing there.

The AI is not used much, but I will try for sure. Unlike email chains that get buried, Slack makes conversations searchable and contextual.

**What do you dislike about Slack?**

The biggest challenge with Slack is information overload. In very active workspaces with multiple channels, notifications can become overwhelming if they are not managed properly. People kind of start creating channels for everything and everyone.

Recently, I have noticed minor issues in Huddle screen sharing where the entire screen gets blacked out, then I have to restart again the huddle to get it fixed.

**What problems is Slack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Some amazing things that I rely on Slack for are:

Custom emojis and reactions that keep interactions engaging
Scheduled messages
Reminders and save for later message options.
Workflow automations

Apart from this, its more like a must have tool for the worksplace, everything happens there.
