Volusion Reviews & Product Details

I love how Volusion made it simple to run an online store. It keeps things organized and easy for me. Managing an online store is now easy because I don't have to worry about coding, setting up a payment system, or tracking inventory manually. The initial setup of Volusion was very easy. I'd suggest that Volusion improve customization options, add more modern templates and expand the app integration. That way users can make their store more unique. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What I prefer about Volusion is its ease of use and the fact that it offers all the essential e-commerce features in one place, which allows you to create and manage an online store easily, especially when you're just starting out. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What I dislike about Volusion is that some advanced features are limited and there are fewer apps and customization options compared to other platforms like Shopify. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

volusion was rthe first e commerce platform i used. i liked how user friendly the back end admin was Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

i do not think they evolved with the times and allowed shopify to take their marketshare Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Monthly price compared to Shopify much less. 500 vs 2000. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

They seem unable to keep up with technology. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Powerful e-commerce features: Volusion offers a range of powerful e-commerce features, such as product management, order management, payment processing, and shipping and tax calculators. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Limited integrations: Volusion has fewer integrations with third-party apps and services compared to some other e-commerce platforms, which may limit the functionality of the online store. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Simplified UI. Value for money for starters. Easy-to-use store builder for non-tech store owners. I have used it a few times for some of my e-commerce clients. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Bulk product update is not available in the initial plan. And, manual product import is time-consuming. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Simple to setup and use for beginners and has some pretty advanced features like built in CRM. Very lean system that's been around for a long time. This was my first e-commerce cart and I still have clients I consult for that do up to 12MM yearly on it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Limited Features for Competitive Marketing. Also, it can't host a blog internally which really limits content marketing. I've been doing lots more content marketing with my clients lately to gain marketshare and organic traffic. You have to use Article Pages on Volusion so you can sort of do it but it's not like having an embedded blog. Support is rough. They recently disincluded the Slack Channel which was awesome for getting quick help with accountability through a constant thread. That was a very strange move to kill that. That alone left one of my clients pretty high and dry and pushed them to look for other options, unfortunately. The chat solution is the same one they used back in 2010 when I was a retailer and it's really bad. It resets the screen and often kicks you 50% of the time. I was on chat for 5 hours last week and got kicked 4 times, lol. Very frustrating. Also, nobody could really answer my question precisely about the issue with variants the client had. If you have a serious question or feature request you can't submit a ticket which is really weird. The phone number is hidden but even if you find it I'm not sure I've ever gotten anyone to answer over the handful of times I've called over the last 30 days. Most times it just loops in the queue and I give up and abandon the request or figure it out myself with a workaround. Some of the shipping/free shipping options are really limited with free shipping limited to global settings with very few options. Volusion doesn't integrate with about 80% of the regular SAAS tools I like. However, it does integrate with Stone Edge Order Manager and that can be a powerful combination for scaling up a turnkey website and ERP combo. For beginner e-commerce peeps getting started this is a great way to go to keep things simple. But if you need more advanced catalog, functionality and marketing tools, you'll need to increase your budget and build out a Shopify store. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Honestly, it is kind of simple and easy to use, but that is because it is also very limited. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I don't like how limited it is; we ran our eCommerce website there and couldn't do much. On top of that, they crash so often, at least once a month, and this causes us to lose out on sales. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The most and foremost thing I liked about volusion is that we don't have to code to get our website ready, it's already there you just need to select according to your convenience and you will have all your things done Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The only thing that there is the cost which I think is a little more, other than the UI/UX can have more scope in the future for improvement which indeed could give interface like amazon, flipkart and other e-commerce websites. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Volusion is a great option to start your online store. You can start your store with ease, reach new customers, and they have a great built-in SEO management. Also, you can start for free. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Volusion was great back in the early 2000's, but since then Shopify has become so much better. Volusion isn't as intuitive to use. I also don't like the templates that they have, it isn't as great as some of the other platforms out there. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
