There are issues with inbound calls in SalesLoft where the phone isn’t linked properly, resulting in delays and not displaying the caller's name immediately. This requires improvement as it would help in knowing who's calling without relying solely on the notifications tab, and it would prevent entering calls without prior context, which I find crucial.

**What do you like best about Salesloft?**

I really value Salesloft for its ability to facilitate efficient outreach, allowing me to keep track of our top accounts effectively. It enables me to see who is engaging with our emails, including insights into who is opening and forwarding emails. This functionality is crucial for ensuring our sign-ups are monitored and utilized effectively. I find the feature that tracks whether prospects are engaging, such as opening emails and clicking on shared links or documents, extremely useful. Additionally, the introduction of the new AI trial is exciting and promises a significant change, which I am eagerly anticipating as it seems it will enhance the platform even further.

I find the rhythm dashboard in Salesloft to be somewhat messy and unorganized. This impacts the UI experience negatively, even though there have been improvements over the past year. **What do you like best about Salesloft?**

I am very happy with Salesloft. I use it every day throughout the day to have precise control over my activity, especially in following up with my clients and prospects. I really appreciate knowing who is viewing my emails and how many times, which allows me to determine if they are truly of interest. I also love being able to create cadences and record my calls, allowing me to listen to them later to identify areas for improvement. It helps me have absolute control over my activities and ensure that I don't leave accounts unattended, as long as I regularly access my activity within Salesloft. I especially value the tracking of my shortcomings and the ability to make calls from another phone in addition to mine. The integration with Salesforce and my email is also an aspect that benefits me greatly. The setup process was clear, thanks to the support from the technology team and the account champion at Motiv. Overall, I consider that Salesloft improves my results and significantly contributes to maintaining the quality of my service.

**What do you dislike about Salesloft?**

I am annoyed with the error that appears when I try to integrate the platform with Zoom, given that we not only use Zoom but also Google Meets to record the video conferences. Additionally, I find the red bar that appears at the top uncomfortable, and I have already tried to align the platform with Zoom without success.

As a nontechnical person, I found it straightforward to set up Salesloft with minimal support from IT, primarily for integrating with other packages. The ease of communication it provides is invaluable, including simple uploads from Salesforce or ZoomInfo and generating comprehensive reports that are easily digestible for both day-to-day users and executives, highlighting the simplicity and effectiveness of the metrics. I appreciate the rhythmic structure Salesloft offers, allowing me to view and manage my day effectively, whether I'm dealing with calls or emails or running concurrent Cadences. It organizes my tasks, ensuring I stay on track and promptly address responses. I enjoy the workflow it offers, as it greatly facilitates the organization and management of tasks. Additionally, each user's or client's page centralizes all the necessary information, which I find extremely useful. It also helps me automate processes and easily find contacts stored in my main CRM, which significantly speeds up my work.

Basic sequencing tool. It's easy to stand up sequences but that is tablestakes in today's environment. It does the same thing it did ten years ago with very little innovation since then.

Where to start. Their support is terrible, non responsive and not focused on solving the problem. They tell you what they can and can't support rather than trying to find a workaround or a solution for you.
When they got hacked and salesloft couldn't talk to salesforce for about two weeks, they basically said "tough - deal with it" instead of offering any sort of credits or refund. After they were hacked, we had to proactively reach out to our CSM to understand the implications rather than anything proactive from salesloft. They are actively getting boatraced in the market by more innovative tools that are focused on using AI at the top of funnel, rather than salesloft who is stuck in 2015.

They solve a problem that many other platforms solve these days: basic email sequencing. Nothing new or innovative.

it almost seemed like the simplicity or the lack of anything besides a sequencing tool that was very bulky, templates that were very hard to build, and a dialer that would have you calling an molasses like speed. When I initially started using Salesloft, the platform felt quite rudimentary in several key areas. Specifically, the process of setting up sales sequences was incredibly cumbersome and time-consuming, making it a frustrating experience. Furthermore, creating and customizing email templates proved to be a real nightmare due to its limited functionality and clunky interface. Lastly, I consistently encountered significant performance issues with the integrated dialer, as it was extremely slow and unreliable, hindering my ability to make calls efficiently.

At the time, inability to effectively build lists and share routine sales process cross-collaboratively. Documentation and ability to guide, navigate, or pull other individuals on my team to instances or profiles that I wanted them to see, listen to a call, or review messaging. During that period, the primary challenges encompassed the inadequate functionality for constructing targeted lists and facilitating the cross-functional sharing of standardized sales procedures. Furthermore, the absence of comprehensive documentation and the difficulties associated with guiding, directing, or enabling team members to access specific instances, profiles, call recordings, or messaging significantly impacted our team's operational efficiency.

I guess sales law for my superiors was observing, or was solving observability. Optical or performance metrics over time and other other things, attempting to coach, shit like that, and they didn't really benefit me too much because the tools that were given, or attempted to enable us were lackluster, bulky, and ineffective. And there was not too much customer support. So our managers fired us because they didn't see productivity and didn't know how to use a tool and didn't need to.

**What do you like best about Salesloft?**

I really appreciate the rhythm feature—it helps me keep track of how many tasks I have left for the day and lets me see the types of tasks remaining. I also enjoy using the live studio; being able to see who else in the company is dialing motivates me to make more calls myself. Additionally, I find the prospecting result analytics very useful. Understanding my connect rate and knowing the times when I’m most likely to reach my prospects is important to me.

**What do you dislike about Salesloft?**

At times, Salesloft can feel a bit sluggish. For instance, today after I finished a call and logged it as completed, Salesloft didn’t automatically move on to the next person to dial. I had to refresh the page myself in order to continue to the next contact.

**What problems is Salesloft solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Salesloft helps me keep my leads organized within Salesforce. While Salesforce is a solid CRM, without Salesloft and its cadence features, my daily workflows would be much less clear and more disorganized. Salesloft makes it easy for me to see exactly who I need to call each day and ensures that I contact my leads as many times as my company requires.

Working in EdTech sales, where timing, personalization, and organization are critical, Salesloft has been a game-changer. The cadence feature allows us to tailor outreach to different personas—like school admins or teachers—at scale, making our communication both efficient and authentic.

Real-time tracking of email opens and clicks helps us prioritize warm leads and follow up at the right moment, which has sped up our sales cycle. The CRM integration ensures everything is seamlessly tracked and up to date, which is essential for team alignment and pipeline visibility.

Salesloft gives us the structure to manage high-volume outreach without losing the personal touch, helping us build stronger relationships across the EdTech space.

**What do you dislike about Salesloft?**

I genuinely love using Salesloft, and cannotimagine my life without it. It is a "NEED", raher than just a "want" (for all verticals). I really had to think about this question, as it was difficult to come up with anything,to be honest! Upon reflecton, in the EdTech space specifically, there are a few areas where I see room for enhancement that would make an already great tool even better. For example, improving the mobile experience would help me stay connected and responsive while on the go—something that’s increasingly important during busy conference seasons or school visits. I’d also love to see more advanced reporting customization, especially when tracking specific education-sector KPIs or aligning with district-specific sales cycles.

Salesloft helps us solve several key challenges in the EdTech sales process, making our work more effective and impactful. One of the biggest problems it addresses is staying organized and consistent in our outreach across a high volume of prospects. With multiple stakeholders in every school or district, it’s easy to lose track—but Salesloft’s cadence system ensures no lead slips through the cracks. It also solves the issue of scalability; we can deliver personalized, relevant messaging at scale, which is crucial when engaging time-strapped educators and administrators. Additionally, it helps us identify what’s working through insightful analytics, so we can continually refine our approach and drive better outcomes. By integrating seamlessly with our CRM, it eliminates manual data entry and gives us a clear, real-time view of pipeline health. Ultimately, Salesloft saves us time, boosts productivity, and empowers us to build stronger, more meaningful relationships—all of which translate into more effective sales and greater impact in the education space.
