"Highly recommend PTC Wizard"

What do you like best about PTC Wizard?

I love the interface. It works on all devices and easily integrates with our student information system.

I don't have to worry about any data entry. I created my 3 days of conferences in 20 minutes. We actually have a really complicated with all kind of restrictions that we need to put on parent appointments. PTC Wizard seems to have a lot of functionality that can work for the simple conferences all the way to the complicated conferences.

What do you dislike about PTC Wizard?

I noticed that they have a cool feature for travel time, and they also updated their app to include passing time for teachers since my last review. I would like to see them create the ability to schedule rolling breaks for teachers so that each teacher is not on break at the same time, without me having to do that manually for each teacher separately. What problems is PTC Wizard solving and how is that benefiting you?

We needed to streamline the scheduling process online to know exactly who was coming to the campus and when. It was not just for convenience, it was also a security concern.

After we signed up and used the product we also we happy to see a HUGE increase in parent attendance. The system was so easy for parents to use that we go so many more parents to come and parental engagement has improved dramatically. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Parent teacher conference scheduling"

What do you like best about PTC Wizard?

Our school system has used many different ways to set up parent teacher conferences. This year our team has decided to use the PTC website to schedule an notify parents of their conference date with their child. I am not sure this is my favorite method as scheduling conferences but one positive is the ability to send to parents reminder emails and notifications as to when their conference is. As a teacher and a parent, I love that you get reminders because we can be a little bit forgetful these days! Another plus, is that they have tech-support and it’s easy to ask for help and get a quick response. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about PTC Wizard?

They are too things that stick out that I dislike very much. One being that it’s very time-consuming to enter in students, their contact information, and their conference date and time. Another issue I’m having with their website is that It does not translate to other languages. I have many students whose parents do not read or write in English. So they are unable to read these emails and we are still contacting them through a translator and a phone call. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is PTC Wizard solving and how is that benefiting you?

One problem that is being solved this year Is that you have evidence that you try to contact families to try to set up these conferences. I’ve had many parents in the past that if claim they’ve never received an email or a phone call but this year parents can see all of the emails and reminder emails that were sent. We used to spend several hours making schedules for conferences for our families. Now that it is online, parents don't have to come into the building to sign up, we don't have to transfer the information, and there is little chance of accidentally double-booking a time slot.
