## Productive Pricing FAQs

Generated using AI

Is Productive free, or does it offer a free trial?

Productive does not offer a permanent free plan, but it does provide a free trial that lets users to test the product before committing to a paid plan. Trial availability and duration may vary, so users should review the seller's official pricing page for the most current details.

How much does Productive cost in 2026?

According to G2 data, Productive pricing in 2026 starts at $10.00 and can reach $25.00 depending on the selected plan. Pricing may vary based on billing terms or usage, so users should review the Productive's official pricing page for the most current details.

Who is Productive pricing best suited for?

According to G2 reviews, Productive's pricing is best suited for small-to-mid-sized agencies and professional services firms — particularly in marketing, advertising, design, consulting, and software development. The Essential plan fits lean teams needing integrated time tracking and budgeting without complexity. G2 reviewers at growing agencies consistently gravitate toward the Professional tier, where recurring budgets, rate cards, and advanced reporting deliver the financial visibility needed to manage retainer clients profitably. Mid-market firms in IT services and consulting also appear prominently in G2 data on Productive, typically requiring Professional or Ultimate capabilities. Productive is less suited to teams needing only basic task management, as G2 reviewers in simpler use cases find the feature depth excessive.

What are the key differences between the free and paid versions of Productive?

Productive offers no permanent free tier. A free trial is available for teams evaluating Productive's pricing tiers before committing. The Essential plan at $10.00/month covers budgeting, time tracking, resource planning, project and task management, expense management, reporting, and API access — sufficient for small teams. Productive's Professional tier at $25.00/month adds recurring budgets, rate cards, billable time and expense approvals, advanced reporting with currency conversion and pivoting, HRIS and invoicing integrations, and expanded custom fields. Productive's Ultimate tier, priced via custom quote, unlocks revenue forecasting, scenario building, overhead calculation, multiple subsidiaries, HubSpot integration, SSO enforcement, webhooks, and scheduled report delivery. G2 reviewers note Ultimate is often necessary to access the full feature set agencies require.

Is Productive considered good value for its pricing?

G2 reviewers broadly consider Productive strong value despite acknowledging it costs more than simpler alternatives. Multiple reviewers explicitly note that consolidating five or more separate tools — project management, time tracking, budgeting, invoicing, resource planning, CRM — into one platform justifies the price premium. One G2 reviewer states pricing is "a bit high" but concedes "you get what you pay for." Another reports monthly billing time cut in half. High ratings dominate across small business and mid-market segments, with agency reviewers in marketing, design, and software development consistently citing profitability visibility and margin protection as tangible ROI. The main caveat from G2 reviews of Productive is onboarding complexity relative to cost for very small teams.

"Intuitive Dashboards and Powerful AI Reporting That Transformed Our Workflow"

5/5

What do you like best about Productive?

Productive solved some serious issues we were having with our previous software, the dashboards are very intuitive and easy to transition over too. the ability to add dependencies was a game changer for our staff and I love the ability to easily notify them when a task is available for them and the lock out due dates really bring execution dates to the forefront of mind. The built in project budgets make it easy to keep track of invoicing and expenses as well as assigning them to the proper month's invoice. The reporting features were a game changer to me as the project manager, i can easily run any report I can possibly think of in seconds with the AI Agent integration. Account & project set up has become a breeze and easily cut my time on these tasks by 50% with the copy and template features. The staff at Productive has also been very helpful with helping us migrate and answering all questions quickly. It is a little more costly than our old software but you get what you pay for and the reporting features and dashboard for each employee have already made it worth the price. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Productive?

2 features I wish it had:

1. monthly auto-billing for retainer clients

2. a true ticketing system for our clients to report issues and request changes to their websites.

It would also be really nice if it integrated with Square for payment processing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Productive solving and how is that benefiting you?

Productive has been benefiting us from day 1 of use with easy to access and understand dashboards that keep the projects flowing, reports that show percent budget used on each project, and task dependencies so everything gets done in the right order. I immediately noticed an increase in my team's productivity when I started using the resourcing feature to schedule their work day Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"All-in-One Platform for Project Management, Time Tracking, Budgeting, and Resource Planning"

4/5

What do you like best about Productive?

Productive platforms big best aspect is that it does a great job in combining project management time tracking budgeting and resource planning tools all under in a single platform eliminates hopping on multiple tools like on websites platform also provides a financial visibility specifically our own project profitability and budget which are their biggest advantage the resource planning and forecasting futures in this platform are very useful for managing cross functional teams capability and capacity it also avoid bottlenecks for approval. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Productive?

The platform might sometimes feel slightly complex during the initial setup, specifically when configuring budgets and financial tracking. There is a learning curve compared to other simpler tools out there, and some users might also find the user interface a bit dense due to the amount of data present in it. Their integration ecosystem can be made with extensive in terms of integrating with 3rd party apps and tools, effective in this competitive space. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Productive solving and how is that benefiting you?

Productive platform helps me by solving the problem of segmented and fragmented tools by bringing everything together under a project delivery platform for financial tracking and team planning, all in a single system. This also helps us improve decision-making by giving real-time insights into our project performance margins and our cross-functional team utilisation. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
