5/5
Describe the project or task Productive helped with:

Productive offers a comprehensive suite of tools designed to streamline agency operations. From task and project management to financial tracking and team coordination, it serves as a central hub for all agency activities. The platform's integration capabilities ensure seamless connectivity across various functions, enhancing overall efficiency and productivity. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Productive?

Productive is essentially the operating system for our agency. We use it across the entire business, from task and project management to workload and capacity planning, CRM, sales, budgeting, time tracking, invoicing, and reporting. Having everything connected in one place makes managing the agency much easier and gives us a clear picture of our projects, team capacity, budgets, and overall business performance. There are still a few features we’d love to see added or expanded, but Productive continues to improve, and overall, it gives us almost everything we need to run our agency day to day. "Incredible Support and a Team That Truly Tailors Productive to Our Needs"
5/5
What do you like best about Productive?

The customer support team is incredible. They take many of our suggestions into account, and when bugs or other issues come up, they’re usually very quick to resolve them. Their engineering and support teams are a huge reason I prefer Productive over other tools. It can be difficult to get the exact experience you’re looking for from software, but Productive has always done their best to help tailor things to our needs. What do you dislike about Productive?

At the moment, some of their features still leave a bit to be desired, so we continue to rely on integrations for certain needs. The biggest gaps for us are the sales features and how the email integration works. We’re still using Hubspot, and unfortunately the email integration here isn’t quite on par with what we have in Hubspot, so we haven’t considered moving that part of our organization over yet. As an Payroll and HR Administration Specialist, I use Productive every day. What I like most:

Task management is great for organizing and tracking tasks in detail.

Absence requests and time tracking are clear and easy to use.

Reports are quick and easy to create.

AI chat, skills and agents make repetitive tasks much easier.

Customer support is excellent, and the team regularly adds new features based on client suggestions.

Overall, it's a well-designed, practical tool for everyday HR administration. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Clean UI, quick logging, better time visibility"
5/5
What do you like best about Productive?

The UI is interactive, and with just one click I can submit the hours. Rectification is also easy, and the memos are the best way to track the work. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Productive?

When a time entry is accepted or approved, it isn’t clearly indicated which timesheet week has been approved. This could be improved by making the approved week more obvious. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Effortless Transition, Enhanced Productivity"
5/5
What do you like best about Productive?

I like Productive's proactivity with adding new features and how everything integrates together, which makes the MCP and automation save me time. It's great for reducing manual admin tasks like updating invoice dates and creating invoices by centralizing them, which helps ensure best practices in deal structure, business proposal structure, and resource allocation are followed. The integration with tools like Xero, Slack, and AI tools enhances productivity further by offering notifications and insights. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Productive?

I'd like to see even more flexibility when it comes to creating proposals. Right now, we are using Productive's proposals signature platform, but we are not using the proposal creator because it lacks the creative flex I want. I'd like it to be more dynamic and allow us to add a specific design language, ideally directly from our branding. I would make it slightly less wooden. Right now, it's a very simplistic block builder. I'd like to see something more creative, like being able to upload an HTML markup file directly to the Productive site and use that as a template. "Streamlined Time Tracking but Needs UI Clarity"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Productive?

I really like how easy it is to check if I've tracked all my time in the current month with Productive, which is important for my employer. Plus, I get weekly reminders via Slack and email if I haven't tracked all my hours, which helps me stay on top of things. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Productive?

I think the time calculation in Productive is overcomplicated. I tried using the API to build a bot to check if all my hours are tracked, but understanding the differences between tracked time, absence, booked time, and other various properties was hard. Similarly, I don't get the difference between Capacity, Available, Scheduled, and Worked. I just want a clear view to see if I tracked all my hours. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Project Management with Atomic Health"
5/5
What do you like best about Productive?

I like how easy Productive is to use; the UX design is clear and clean, which helps me know exactly where my projects are and who is responsible for each project. The ability to set up budgets for each client and track how much time my coworkers spend on tasks is really beneficial. Creating tasks, bookings, and using Kanban boards where clients can participate is super valuable. Integrating with Slack allows for seamless communication, as I get notifications there, which is super helpful. Overall, having a clear structure and the possibility to involve clients directly with a clear overview makes Productive a great choice for our agency's project management needs. "We have used Productive for almost 10 years. It was good when we started and keeps getting better!"
5/5
What do you like best about Productive?

The best thing about Productive is the customer support. This is the first time I have used a SaaS product where contacting the support team was this easy and helpful, and I got the help I needed. They are also fantastic about implementing user feedback into the product. Over nearly ten years of using it, they have implemented many of my feature requests. I use it many times a day, and it is very reliable and easy to use. The calendar integration makes time tracking much easier. The wide suite of features in Productive makes it easy to see how one aspect of your business affects the others. It also saves you money by reducing the number of other products you need. Project management, budgeting, invoicing, CRM, and resource management all in one application. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Productive?

The only real drawback to using Productive is that it has so many integrated capabilities that it can take a while to implement them all and get your team onboarded. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Big Time-Saver for Resource Planning, with an Easy-to-Use Board"
3.5/5
What do you like best about Productive?

It saves me a lot of time when planning resourcing for the upcoming projects. I can see what other projects my designers and developers are in, how much time everyone is devoting to their work and what they're currently working on, without having to ask everyone. Productive board is also easy to use and understand. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Productive?

Overall I would say we had some UI complaints, however, since then everything has been resolved. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
