We use it more for time allocation and billing than just tracking hours, and it works really well for that. You can break things down by client, project, and even different parts of a project (like ops vs recruitment vs marketing vs PM), which makes it super useful when you’re trying to see where time is going or bill things correctly. **What do you dislike about Productive?** The reporting can feel a little limited depending on how specific you want to get, so sometimes we have to do a bit of extra work outside the platform. Not a dealbreaker, but something that could be improved. **What problems is Productive solving and how is that benefiting you?** It solves the problem of not really knowing where time is going across different clients and projects. Before, it was harder to break things down in a clear way for billing and internal planning. There is a learning curve compared to other simpler tools out there, and some users might also find the user interface a bit dense due to the amount of data present in it. I also like that Productive has a lot of features that we aren't using at the moment, suggesting that it offers more tools and functionality as we need them. **What do you dislike about Productive?** We have trouble with the resourcing tool. It's a little too messy and hard to read at the moment. I would like an icon for each project like clients, so it's easy to get an overview without having to read the name of the project. There are some cool reporting templates too, for example "Most profitable client". **What do you dislike about Productive?** Some basic issues, for example when you delete a parent task, all subtasks stay "alive" and you need to delete them all one by one after. **What problems is Productive solving and how is that benefiting you?** Seeing if the team is fully utilized, seeing time off in one place, seeing how much time we have used per client and how it relates to the budget. ### 6.
