The primary driver for this decision is Dell, HP, Fujitsu, and Lenovo already offer a driver catalog for free (https://patchmypc.com/frequently-asked-questions#driver-catalog-support). You can subscribe to this UserVoice request regarding drivers, though (https://ideas.patchmypc.com/ideas/PATCHMYPC-I-183). If things change and we decide to add driver support in the future, you will be notified by subscribing to this idea. I'd love to learn more about the PowerShell detection method and how that is affecting your organization in more detail.
