ManageEngine Patch Manager Plus requires manual verification to confirm whether a patch fully remediates a CVE or not. Require additional details for patch failures to analyze the cause of failure, so improving granular insights would be helpful. Clear reporting on patch installed and reboot pending is needed. There should be more details on why a patch has failed, instead of general statuses there should be precise information. Distinguish between environmental failures or technical failures. When we need to uninstall a patch and ManageEngine doesn't support it, we have to resort to other uninstallation methods when we could easily do it from the ManageEngine administration console, and it's tedious to explain to users that we need to perform the uninstallation manually. The best part about the Patch Manager Plus is that there are clear guides on how to set it up and how to use the software, upgrades are a breeze to the software itself and the documentation and step by step instructions are super clear. Should you need support the team has multiple channels of communication and are quick and informative and work to get you taken care of.

Honestly the most disliked part isn't really Patch manager plus is more with the vendors just because there is so much software out there its a little overwhelming at first to figure out what software you are wanting to manage this way, but after that it is smooth sailing with Patch Manager Plus!! Windows, Mac, and Linux Operating Systems plus an ever growing list of Third Party app are supported, and includes several options for automation and reporting. Integration with Active Directory, SAML and third party vulnerability scanners like Rapid7 iVM and Tenable are also supported, and implementation is a a breeze. Support for BIOS patches is currently limited to Dell devices. However, support for other vendors like HP and Lenovo areon the product roadmap. Reporting options such as filtering and vertain metrics like 'Average time to patch' are also limited, however these are also a work in progress on the product roadmap.
