## About Right Click Tools
Right Click Tools is a powerful suite of endpoint management, automation, and remediation tools designed to elevate what IT teams can accomplish with Microsoft ConfigMgr (SCCM) and Intune. Modern IT environments are complex, distributed, and constantly changing—and traditional consoles often don’t provide the visibility or speed required to stay ahead. Right Click Tools closes those gaps. By bringing real-time insights, one-click actions, and scalable automation directly into the tools IT already uses, it enables teams to see issues clearly, fix them quickly, and move on with confidence. Right Click Tools is built for the IT professionals responsible for keeping endpoints healthy, secure, and compliant. This includes systems administrators who need to troubleshoot and remediate issues quickly; IT directors who are focused on reducing risk, improving efficiency, and maintaining compliance; and security leaders who require real-time visibility into vulnerabilities like missing encryption, policy drift, or privileged access. Whether an organization manages thousands of devices on-premises, across hybrid environments, or entirely in the cloud, Right Click Tools gives teams the control and consistency required to support a modern, distributed workforce. Core features include real-time visibility, bulk automation, and powerful remediation capabilities that dramatically streamline endpoint management. IT teams can instantly surface non compliant devices, check encryption and patch status, manage local admin rights, deploy software, or kill rogue processes—all without scripting or switching tools. Right Click Tools becomes even more powerful with its three specialized add on modules: the Patching module delivers advanced patch reporting and compliance enforcement; the Privileged Access module enables controlled elevation and temporary admin rights without compromising security; and the Insights module provides rich dashboards and analytics that highlight vulnerabilities, policy drift, and operational gaps. Together, these capabilities give organizations the unified control, speed, and intelligence they need to identify issues quickly and remediate them at scale. What sets Right Click Tools apart is its unique combination of speed, simplicity, and depth. It brings together capabilities that would otherwise require multiple disconnected tools—or deep PowerShell expertise—and makes them intuitive and accessible to IT teams of any skill level. Its tight integration with both ConfigMgr and Intune, including a browser extension for the Intune console and advanced automation via Recast Management Server, gives organizations a seamless experience across cloud and on-premises environments. Trusted by more than 60,000 IT professionals worldwide, Right Click Tools consistently reduces risk, improves compliance, and saves teams hundreds of hours annually. It’s the essential toolkit for organizations that want to manage endpoints smarter, faster, and more securely—no scripting required.

## Right Click Tools Reviews
  ### 1. Streamlining Endpoint Management and Troubleshooting

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kabeer M. | System Administrator Level 2, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 02, 2026

**What do you like best about Right Click Tools?**

As an IT administrator, I like that Right Click Tools eliminates a lot of the repetitive work involved in endpoint support. Tasks that normally take several steps - or require remote access and PowerShell scripts - can be done with a couple of clicks. It helps me troubleshoot faster, be more responsive to users, and spend more time on higher-value projects instead of routine administrative work.

**What do you dislike about Right Click Tools?**

My main criticism is that the licensing costs can be a barrier for smaller organizations, and there are still a few areas where deeper automation and more customization would be helpful. Even so, the productivity gains and the troubleshooting tools deliver significant value for day-to-day IT operations.

**What problems is Right Click Tools solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Right Click Tools addresses inefficient endpoint management and troubleshooting in Microsoft Configuration Manager environments. Without it, many routine support tasks end up requiring remote connections, jumping between multiple tools, manual scripting, or digging through several consoles. Right Click Tools consolidates those functions into a single interface, so I can quickly gather system information, run client actions, troubleshoot issues, and complete administrative tasks directly from the ConfigMgr console.

For me, the biggest benefits are faster issue resolution, less administrative overhead, and better overall productivity. I spend less time repeating the same troubleshooting steps and more time focusing on strategic IT projects. It also helps reduce downtime for end users, since problems can be identified and resolved much more quickly.

  ### 2. Right click tool review

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** abhijeet g. | Asset Management Analyst, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 02, 2026

**What do you like best about Right Click Tools?**

One of the best aspects of Right Click Tools is the time it saves for IT administrators. It provides quick access to common management and troubleshooting tasks directly from the console, reducing the need to navigate through multiple menus or use separate tools.

**What do you dislike about Right Click Tools?**

A common drawback of Right Click Tools is that some advanced features are only available in the paid editions, which can be limiting for organizations with budget constraints. Additionally, new users may experience a learning curve when exploring the full range of available tools and actions.

**What problems is Right Click Tools solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Right Click Tools helps solve several day-to-day endpoint management and troubleshooting challenges by providing quick access to administrative actions directly within the management console.
For me, the biggest benefit is the reduction in time spent troubleshooting and managing devices. Tasks such as retrieving system information, restarting services, managing software deployments, checking client health, and performing remote remediation can be completed in just a few clicks. This eliminates the need to connect to multiple tools or manually run scripts.

  ### 3. Bulk Device Management Made Easy with Seamless C$ Connectivity

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Komal H. | system integration analyst, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 02, 2026

**What do you like best about Right Click Tools?**

Most of the features like addling bulk devices to the collection, removing bulk devices. connecting to c$

**What do you dislike about Right Click Tools?**

Additionally, certain actions depend on client connectivity and Configuration Manager health, so results can occasionally be inconsistent when managing devices that are offline or experiencing communication issues. More built-in guidance, reporting, and customization options for frequently used actions would further enhance the overall experience.

**What problems is Right Click Tools solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The biggest benefit has been the time savings and improved efficiency. Tasks that previously took several minutes can now be completed in seconds, enabling our team to resolve issues faster and support more users without increasing workload. It has also helped standardize administrative processes across the team, reducing errors and improving the consistency of our endpoint management practices. Overall, Right Click Tools has streamlined operations, shortened troubleshooting time, and increased the productivity of both our IT staff and end users.

  ### 4. Efficient MECM Console for Fast Policy Sync and Device Management

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mayur S. | System Integration Analyst, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 02, 2026

**What do you like best about Right Click Tools?**

Its very efficient is getting important things done while using MECM console. We can sync policies with simple click, add thousands of devices into collection in an instant, Wake on LAN feautures and also Send/Unsend message feature which will clear all messages inwards/outwards from clients.

**What do you dislike about Right Click Tools?**

Sometimes it lags, logs you out and when trying to sign back in I had faced issues multiple times.

**What problems is Right Click Tools solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Adding multiple machines to a collection instead of using a script. Syncing policies. Its console and security tools are the best I can get bitlocker status immidiately. Wake On LAN feature, I can query registies from the tol which is very much beneficial.

  ### 5. Real-Time Client Actions That Streamline Troubleshooting

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Abdul H. | Inside Sales Team Lead, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 21, 2026

**What do you like best about Right Click Tools?**

What I like most about Right Click Tools is the real-time client actions. I can trigger tasks immediately instead of waiting for SCCM cycles, which saves me a lot of troubleshooting time. The client information view is also very helpful because it puts the key details in one place and reduces the need to jump between multiple tools.

Overall, it streamlines my workflow and helps me resolve issues much faster.

**What do you dislike about Right Click Tools?**

One downside of Right Click Tools is that some features are locked behind the paid/enterprise version, so you don’t always get the full value from the tool unless you upgrade. Another minor issue is that certain actions rely heavily on client connectivity; if a device is offline or not communicating properly, some of the tools won’t work as expected.

**What problems is Right Click Tools solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before using Right Click Tools, we struggled with slow troubleshooting and limited control in ConfigMgr. Most actions depended on client cycles, which delayed issue resolution and increased ticket handling time.

Now we can trigger real-time actions, access detailed client information immediately, and run bulk tasks in seconds, which has noticeably improved our efficiency. Tasks that used to take 10–15 minutes per device can now be completed in under a minute.

As a result, tickets are resolved faster, the workload is reduced, and end-user satisfaction is better.

From a UI/UX perspective, the right-click menu integration makes the tool easy to use because we don’t have to switch between different tools. Performance is strong for most real-time actions, although it still depends on client connectivity. On pricing/ROI, some features require a paid version, but the time saved and productivity gains make the cost worthwhile.

  ### 6. Simplifies Endpoint Management Effortlessly

  ### 7. Effortless Bulk Device Management and One-Click Policy Runs

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** NAVNEET S. | system administrator, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 23, 2026

**What do you like best about Right Click Tools?**

The best part is that it automates operations like adding and removing devices in bulk, and running policies in one go across a collection.

**What do you dislike about Right Click Tools?**

I don’t think I dislike anything about RCT. The only time it annoyed me was when it kept asking me to log in again and again to use it. It may have been a technical glitch, but it was resolved later on.

**What problems is Right Click Tools solving and how is that benefiting you?**

RCT helps solve issues by automating tasks in one place, and it works across devices. You don’t have to go through them one by one, and you don’t have to write scripts.

  ### 8. Turns Complex Endpoint Troubleshooting into a Two-Second Console Task

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Venkatadri K. | System integration Tech, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 22, 2026

**What do you like best about Right Click Tools?**

It turns complex, multi-step endpoint troubleshooting into a two-second task directly from the console.

**What do you dislike about Right Click Tools?**

The initial console load times and performance can occasionally feel a bit sluggish, especially when running actions against very large device collections all at once.

**What problems is Right Click Tools solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It solves the problem of console fragmentation and tedious, multi-step troubleshooting. Instead of hopping between different tools to fix an endpoint, I can trigger immediate client actions directly from one place. This benefits me by slashing my resolution times and eliminating repetitive daily tasks.

  ### 17. RCT Review

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Health, Wellness and Fitness | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 21, 2024

**What do you like best about Right Click Tools?**

Very convenient tool! The user interface is intuitive.

**What do you dislike about Right Click Tools?**

Agent communication is not always functional. The work around is to have a ConfigMgr script to restart the RecastAgent service on a machine(s) that do not populate RCT data.

**What problems is Right Click Tools solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are changing our VPN technology to zScaler, so RCT has features that assists level 1 support since they lost the ability to backdoor into a device.

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Cory C. | Lead Systems Engineer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 17, 2026

**What do you like best about Right Click Tools?**

A lot of automations that don’t natively exist in Intune

**What do you dislike about Right Click Tools?**

Feels a little disjointed, almost like having policies in 2 places

**What problems is Right Click Tools solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Right now, none, not a customer. Also we are leaving configman

  ### 20. Right Click Tools - HUGE Asset

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Higher Education | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 17, 2025

**What do you like best about Right Click Tools?**

There are so many great and useful features, but the first one that comes to mind is Remote Software Center. This is an absolute game changer for application deployments, task sequence executions, etc.

**What do you dislike about Right Click Tools?**

There are no downsides. It is a great product.

**What problems is Right Click Tools solving and how is that benefiting you?**

RCT is benefitting is in MANY ways - more than I'm writing here. One example is RCT allows us to perform hugely important tasks such deploying applications and remote application uninstallations on-demand, amongst many other things. This allows us to perform these tasks immediately, instead of waiting for MECM clients to execute these tasks on their timeline, which is really important when dealing with things like limited lab/classroom availability due to scheduling. Another awesome feature we've been leveraging is RCT's System Information feature within the Console Tools section. We have issues with cached user profiles piling up over time, and Group Policy settings to prevent this absolutely do not work. This is a big problem on our endpoints with smaller (256GB and less) drives. One of the subsets within the System Information feature is the ability to see all the caches profiles on a single endpoint, or an entire device collection. You are able to then remotely delete the cached profiles. Here's the beautiful part of this feature - anyone that has deleted user profiles knows that only deleting profile directory in C:\Users and nothing else, results in that user not being able to login any longer due to the cached profile not being properly removed. The delete user profile feature in RCT takes care of all that by not only deleting the profile directory, but also any associated registry and WMI entries associated with that profile - resulting in a true, clean profile deletion. These are just a few of the many features of RCT that are greatly benefitting us.

  ### 21. Simplifies Daily Tasks with Powerful Shortcuts

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Andreas T. | Lead Technical Specialist, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 09, 2026

**What do you like best about Right Click Tools?**

It simplifies your daily work tasks with shortcuts and features that would otherwise generate a lot of scripts and extra work.

**What do you dislike about Right Click Tools?**

Cannot think of anything negative to say about the product.

**What problems is Right Click Tools solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It solves inefficiencies in endpoint management by automating repetitive tasks, providing real-time device diagnostics and speeding up troubleshooting.

  ### 22. Must have tool for all teams who manage via MECM / Intune!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Steve S. | Systems Architect / Senior Systems Administrator, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 30, 2025

**What do you like best about Right Click Tools?**

As a Senior System Engineer, I have had the opportunity to work with various tools for managing desktops and servers. However, none have impressed me as much as Right Click Tools. While MECM and Intune are powerful tools, they do have their limitations. Right Click Tools has effectively filled these gaps, providing us with the additional capabilities we needed. For instance, the tool's advanced reporting and compliance features have enabled us to maintain a high level of security and compliance across our organization. Additionally, the ability to perform bulk actions and automate routine tasks has saved us countless hours of manual work.

**What do you dislike about Right Click Tools?**

I have a lot of remote devices that I lose the ability to control / manage when they are not on our network. This was my only dislike of the tool, but they now offer an integration with intune so I guess I don't have anything to mention.

**What problems is Right Click Tools solving and how is that benefiting you?**

MECM (Formerly sccm) has always had a limitation of controlling, pushing and checking on endpoints it manages. Without RCT the ability to troubleshoot and verify packages as well as remote connections to things like powershell, packaging would be hard to verify and correct patches / applications not deploying right.

Also, I didn't see any spots here for this, but the support is amazing.

  ### 23. Makes Device Management Easier and Faster—It Just Works

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

Helps us with insites and remotely installing software

  ### 24. Environment Insights and Workflow Automation That Deliver with Recast!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Education Management | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 28, 2026

**What do you like best about Right Click Tools?**

Environment insights and workflow automation and improved White-Glove Experience

**What do you dislike about Right Click Tools?**

Nothing really, everything is really working well.

**What problems is Right Click Tools solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The white-glove experience was night & day better than just Intune's solution

  ### 25. The best addition to SCCM so far

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jiří D. | IT Operations Manager, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 23, 2025

**What do you like best about Right Click Tools?**

Having System Center Configuration Manager as our primary management tool for managing all of our client computers and servers in our company, Right Click Tools is the perfect addition for it. Where Microsoft falls behind some features, RCT supplements it in many aspects. From reporting, to automation, detailed information, vast amount of actions that can be performed remotely, you name it.
As the name suggests, everything is under right-click of your mouse and easy to use.
Recast has additonal features besides Right Click Tools, so I recommend checking their website and getting in contact with them. You won't regret it.

**What do you dislike about Right Click Tools?**

I will mention the price as the only disadvantage, but at the same time I need to mention that when you start using all of the features Recast provides, it will pay off in the end.

**What problems is Right Click Tools solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Many missing features that are not present in the SCCM Console are covered in RCT. One of the most used features is the remote management. For example installing Windows Updates was never easier on multiple servers at once.

  ### 26. The Best add-in available for Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Higher Education | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 29, 2025

**What do you like best about Right Click Tools?**

The breadth of tools available to manage your endpoints, even with a free community version being available. Integration and Implementation of the tools were easy when using the Recast Management Server. We've barely touched the surface on the tools available to our IT Analysts and it's already been a huge help providing access to tools to recovery Bitlocker Keys and provide LAPS passwords.

Whenever we do have issue Customer Support has been quickly able to address and assist us with any issues we might have or is covered by their existing knowledge base articles.

**What do you dislike about Right Click Tools?**

For the enterprise version, initially we had difficulties with delegating permissions to our various IT analysts. It was pointed out what we need to look at as far of what permissions apply to each function through their support.

**What problems is Right Click Tools solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Providing efficiencies when working with a large group of computers.
Streamlining which groups can have the access they do to certain functions, i.e. Bitlocker Recovery/LAPS password retrieval
Compiles things that maybe other standalone tools can do but in one context menu.

  ### 27. RCT

**What do you like best about Right Click Tools?**

(SCCM) is our primary tool for managing all client computers and servers across the company, Right Click Tools (RCT) serves as the perfect complement. Where SCCM may lack certain capabilities, RCT fills the gaps with powerful features—ranging from advanced reporting and automation to detailed system insights and a wide array of remote actions. As the name implies, nearly everything is conveniently accessible with a simple right-click, making it both efficient and user-friendly.

**What do you dislike about Right Click Tools?**

Getting some issuses after version upgrade

**What problems is Right Click Tools solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Right Click Tools is the perfect addition for it. Where Microsoft falls behind some features, RCT supplements it in many aspects. From reporting, to automation, detailed information, vast amount of actions that can be performed remotely, you name it.

**Reviewed Date:** May 12, 2025

**What do you like best about Right Click Tools?**

I lost count of how many times I responded with "Right Click Tools can that!". RCT feels like it was built by ConfigMan admins for ConfigMan admins. Remote Software Center is incredibly useful but the best attribute to RCT is the amount of time you save doing daily mundane tasks within SCCM and Intune.

**What do you dislike about Right Click Tools?**

I cannot think of any major faults with Right Click Tools. It is a simple lightweight install that greatly enhances everyday task's within ConfigMan.

**What do you like best about Right Click Tools?**

Right Click Tools by Recast Software is an indispensable asset for every Config Manager admin. Their unwavering commitment to the IT community is evident through their provision of both a paid and community (free) edition. This demonstrates not only their dedication but also their generosity and support for all IT professionals. The continuous enhancement and expansion of their tools fill the gaps left by Config Manager, making our tasks significantly easier and more efficient. Right Click Tools is truly a game-changer in the realm of IT management.

**What do you dislike about Right Click Tools?**

While Right Click Tools excels in many areas, the migration to the cloud is progressing at a slower pace than anticipated. Currently, integration with Microsoft Intune is not available, which presents a challenge for admins managing hybrid or full cloud environments.

**What problems is Right Click Tools solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Right Click Tools provides my team with invaluable access to data and features, saving us hours of work each day. From effortlessly checking log files with a single click to quickly looking up security settings, these tools have significantly reduced our workload, allowing us to dedicate more time to assisting our end-users. The ease of use is exceptional, making it simple to train our team and enabling them to adapt to new features swiftly. This ensures our support team looks professional and efficient from day one.

**Reviewed Date:** May 15, 2025

**What do you like best about Right Click Tools?**

The ability to streamline MECM functions and undertake actions across multiple endpoints in a single transaction. That and the ability to "shift left" from third line support to second and first line for repeat but consistent transactions.

**What do you dislike about Right Click Tools?**

We've not found anything to dislike as yet!

**What problems is Right Click Tools solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Simplifying repetitive and potentially error introducing transactions within MECM, allowing expensive technical resource to concentrate more on service improvement and project delivery.

  ### 36. Thank You for the brilliant tool, Recast Software!

**What do you dislike about Right Click Tools?**

Intune integration has missed for now. I hope this gap will be closed soon.

**What problems is Right Click Tools solving and how is that benefiting you?**

All engineers will find many reasons to use RCT making it a daily tool for engineers of all experience levels.

Great small company vibes. Sales and Support are fun and easy to work with.

As far as we are concerned company culture, Remote console tools and Remote Software Center are just a few examples putting RCT severals steps ahead of the competition.

**What do you dislike about Right Click Tools?**

We couldn't think of a single dislike. We think RCT is close to perfect!

**What problems is Right Click Tools solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Overall single pane of glass with the most important tools in Configuration Managenement extending remotely down to the endpoint empowering engineers and technicians at better end user management. Too many specific tools to name but highlights include better Kiosk management and control, Bitlocker security tools, etc.

**Reviewed Date:** June 12, 2024

**What do you like best about Right Click Tools?**

Although I do not use all the features of the product, working with sccm without RCT is like walking in the woods blind folded with a hand tied behind your back. Great tool, great support, great community, opened to new ideeas overall excelent experience.

**What do you dislike about Right Click Tools?**

Nothing to dislike, is just it takes a little time to get used with it, however once you do, feels like a second nature

**What problems is Right Click Tools solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It solved various issues client related or server/DP related... I've been using it for years and my compliance never went down under 85% most of the time over 95%

  ### 39. Essential for Remote Work Management and Support

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Stephanie J. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 07, 2024

**What do you like best about Right Click Tools?**

Right Click Tools is a necessity in our environment. Our staff uses it every day, to support our end users. RCT allows us to remotely manage and support our end users quickly and effectively. Running client actions itn the most commonly used tool, as it is more effective in our environment than the Client Notifications native to the Configuration Manager Console. Client information for cache management, when troubleshooting installation issues is a must. System Information for managing and monitoring existing installations boosts our IT support staff's effectiveness greatly. Gone are the days of scheduling time with the user, remoting in and uninstalling manually.

Our IT staff went from 100% onsite support to effective 100% remote support overnight and we would not have been able to do that without the use of Right Click Tools. Recast's customer support made it easy to setup, easy to get working in our environment with our other tools.

**What do you dislike about Right Click Tools?**

There are very few things to dislike about Right Click Tools. Since RCT is an extension to the MCM console, most issues in our environment go back to the functionality of MCM.

**What problems is Right Click Tools solving and how is that benefiting you?**

RTC console extension allows us to effect and monitor our remote devices in real time. RCT is a critical tool that our IT support staff utilize everyday to support remote and onsite staff in a way that has minimal impact on the end user. An abiltiy which is invaluable in our hybrid environment. Additionaly it provides us with reporting that we utilize to provide information to our administration team for the upgrade of out of warranty devices and for our management teams for monitoring our software licenses and to our ISO staff for the vulnerbility remediation status for critical software updates.

  ### 40. Recast Right Click Tools is a GREAT utliity for our environment, WooooHoooo....

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Bill G. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 20, 2024

**What do you like best about Right Click Tools?**

All our local OpCo admins and engineers use this daily to perform limited or full functions. Right Click Tools is a nessesary, needed interface that we use every single day.

**What do you dislike about Right Click Tools?**

I have NO dislikes when it comes to RCT, I can think of nothing that would make me dislike the software. Only issue i have would be no integration with Intune yet, PLEASE MAKE THIS HAPPEN....

**What problems is Right Click Tools solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are able to repair SCCM client on remote devices

Able to reboot machines quickly and efficiently.

RCT enhances our SCCM Console.

  ### 41. I can't imagine ever using MCM/SCCM without Right Click Tools

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rick C. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 05, 2024

**What do you like best about Right Click Tools?**

The functionality built into RCT enable us to perform tasks with just a click or two that would otherwise take substantial amounts of time to write PowerShell scripts to achieve.
The built in kiosk functions help us manage our kiosk logins.
Support is great and always available.
All our admins, engineers and site support use RCT daily to perform limited or full functions.

**What do you dislike about Right Click Tools?**

Performing a remote group policy update from the console causes popups for the user when the CMD window opens.
We had to have a few calls to implement as we'd not had a Recast Server previously.

**What problems is Right Click Tools solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Several functions not available unless scripting was written.

  ### 42. Our Configuration Manager Admins. can't live without these tools!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Chris F. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 17, 2024

**What do you like best about Right Click Tools?**

They make the day-to-day Configuration Manager administrative tasks much more simplified.

**What do you dislike about Right Click Tools?**

I wish that the tools would only show the products you are licensed for. Ex; I do not own (Privilege Manager) our (Endpoint Insights) but they both appear in RCT. It doesn't hurt anything, since I will probably purchase those options on the next budget cycle but it does clutter things up if you plan not to use these products in the future.

**What problems is Right Click Tools solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I love the ability to reconcile what's in AD and what's in Configuration Manager in the RCT reporting for device management.

  ### 43. Recast Right Click Tools

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Manufacturing | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 12, 2024

**What do you like best about Right Click Tools?**

The Right Click Tools make Configmgr\SCCM simpler and more efficient to use, manage and administrate. Most of the toolset replaces clunky native functions with smoother and better understood functions.

**What do you dislike about Right Click Tools?**

Some of the advanced functions like Kiosk Manager or Recast Builder could use better documentation.

**What problems is Right Click Tools solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Configmgr's native menu's and function wizards are outdated, outmoded, and written poorly. The Recast Right Click Tools makes those functions easier to perform. Not to mention you see the results of those actions immediately. At this point I only train our support staff on using the tools, and to stay out of the native menu's. The tools are much easier to train and use.

The Right Click Tools reduce complexity of software deployment, updates reporting, gathering information for our applications and workstations.

  ### 44. Right Click Tools is a must-have for any IT professional

What truly sets RCT apart, is its exceptional support. The team behind RCT is always available and responsive, ensuring that any issues or queries are promptly addressed. This level of support is invaluable.

**What do you dislike about Right Click Tools?**

Running group policy updates will provide a quick prrompt on the users screen

**What problems is Right Click Tools solving and how is that benefiting you?**

enhance productivity, efficiency, and overall IT management
Its user-friendly interface makes it easy to use
Its exceptional support. The team behind RCT is always available and responsive, ensuring that any issues or queries are promptly addressed. This level of support is invaluable.

  ### 45. Great Way to Update Third-Party Apps

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Bryan A. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 20, 2024

**What do you like best about Right Click Tools?**

We heavily leverage ConfigMan in our environement which is perfect for Microsoft products, however lacks in out of the box third-party support. Application Manager gives us that extra layer of integration to easily ensure our commonly deployed third-party software is up to date (allowing us to avoid zero day attacks).

**What do you dislike about Right Click Tools?**

Application Manager could make deployments a little easier to configure, but once you're rolling there isn't much attention needed.

**What problems is Right Click Tools solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Application Manager allows us to fill in the update gap with third-party applications (such as Chrome, Firefox, 7zip).

  ### 46. Great Configuration Manager add in tools

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Insurance | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 26, 2024

**What do you like best about Right Click Tools?**

This tool assists with doing day to day SCCM tasks much easier. From adding devices to a collection, running client actions, remote software center, running deployments, bitlocker status and so is just a right click away! No pun intended.

**What do you dislike about Right Click Tools?**

I have found nothing I dislike but I also do not use the tool to the fullest personally.

**What problems is Right Click Tools solving and how is that benefiting you?**

For me persoinally, it is solving using multiple tools (Powershell, Client Center for Configuration Manager) to get things done in the configman console.

  ### 47. Automation is a daily passion

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Roger B. | Systems Engineering and Architecture, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 05, 2023

**What do you like best about Right Click Tools?**

My organization relies ever increasingly on the automation we deliver via several modalities but it is Right Click Tools which allows our admin team to take the management of our toolset to the next level through smart, intuitive and effective design of their Configuration Manager plugin.

**What do you dislike about Right Click Tools?**

Right Click Tools (RCT) relies on DNS and permissions so if there are any residual DNS issues or blind spots related to permissions on endpoints in your environment RCT will indirectly allow these to surface so that you can further refine and resolve latent configuration issues in your environment. This is just another example of how RCT supports your efforts to maintain a clean and predictable endpoint ecosystem.

**What problems is Right Click Tools solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We manage thousands of devices with an efficent crew of technicians using custom automation at every opportunity and Right Click Tools allows us to scale extremely well the daily tasks of ensuring devices are compliant and responsive with both behavior and data acquisition.

  ### 48. Great tool for Configuration Manager

**What do you dislike about Right Click Tools?**

I currently don't have any dislikes for this product.

**What problems is Right Click Tools solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Its a great resource of tools in one location.

Managing devices, collections and getting detailed information of the clients.
