**What do you like best about Patch My PC?**

PatchMyPC is a huge timersaver, it has most of the applications which we need to rollout to all our devices.
PatchmyPC helps us the update the Applications on the same day the update comes out, without any active work needed which has a huge security benefit.

Setup of new applications is only a few minutes work, which enabled us to offer our users more applications for there devices.

**What do you dislike about Patch My PC?**

The only feature im personaly missing, is the posibility to setup update rings for applications. So that if a new version comes out, fist a specific group of users becomes the update while everybody else gets the old versions until 2 weeks later when everybody then gets the new update.

**What problems is Patch My PC solving and how is that benefiting you?**

PatchMyPC updates our software automatically for our Environment, which saves us a lot of time we would otherwise spend to get software updates deployed to our users.

**What do you like best about Patch My PC?**

Patch My PC vastly reduces the time taken to deploy new apps, and completely removes the need to worry about updates. Our onboarding process was fast and easy, and support has been easy to reach and extremely helpful.

**What do you dislike about Patch My PC?**

The only downside of Patch My PC so far is that it relies on application names in requirement scripts, which has caused a few issues with keeping apps updated. e.g. 'Firefox' will not be updated unless it's named 'Mozilla Firefox' in the registry.

**What problems is Patch My PC solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We spent hours each week packaging apps, following  blogs and tech news sites to monitor any CVE's that would affect our apps. Patch My PC has completely removed this from our weekly workload.

**What do you like best about Patch My PC?**

The application is easy to use with a well-designed user interface. The guides and support are excellent, making integration and daily use straightforward.
PMPC  allows for the automation of patch management, significantly reducing the time spent on manual updates. This enables IT teams to focus on more strategic tasks.
These guys supports a wide range of software, covering most business needs. It includes customization options to manage conflicting process behaviors and create custom applications.
The cloud version is very easy to setup, in a straightforward manner.

**What do you dislike about Patch My PC?**

Support for MacOS is still limited.
The cloud version is very nice but lacking features compared to on-premise publisher.

**What problems is Patch My PC solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Packaging products updates automatically.

**What do you like best about Patch My PC?**

PatchMyPC was very easy to implement and hit the ground running. We use Intune exclusively and PMPC makes the process of getting updated applications into your Intune environment as easy as clicking a few boxes and choosing groups.

Their knowledge base is also very good and has answered all of my questions so far. Lastly our demo experience was excellent - the PMPC engineer was very knowledgeable, didn't try to upsell us, and showed us exactly what we had asked for.

**What do you dislike about Patch My PC?**

My only complaint is that the reporting options for an Intune only installation are lacking compared to if you use Config Manager. Your only option is a Power BI template which requires you to manually export data from the Publisher program.

I believe they are working on proper Intune reporting though and I hope that comes out soon!

**What problems is Patch My PC solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Keeping our installed programs up to date without requiring an employee to manually update our apps in Intune. This is saving us countless hours of work, letting us focus on other projects.

**What do you like best about Patch My PC?**

We are in the midst of slowly moving from on prem sccm domain joined to cloud only Entra joined machines for management, and this tool is great! I find the ability to easily have parity between my intune Company Portal offerings and my SCCM Software Center to be extra valuable.

**What do you dislike about Patch My PC?**

The only downsides I could say are that some pieces of software are not available , but that's only a matter of time versus not happening at all. No real complaints or dislikes here! 

*as an aside, Management Insights integration into Intune when? Asking nicely!

**What problems is Patch My PC solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Having to spend time packing apps and app updates TWICE (once for on-prem and once for cloud)  can be very time consuming when every app can have different parameters and requirements for proper deployment. This cuts down about 90% of the manual apps that I would have had to do.

  ### 9. It's a no-brainer. Use this product.

**What do you like best about Patch My PC?**

The easy answer here is that their product works, and it doesn't try to do too much. It uses API connections to Intune to assist with application deployment and auto-patching. That's it. It doesn't require agents, or try to manage other areas of your business.

Adding on to this is their documentation and support infrastructure. If they don't have an app you want? Request that they add it. I'm yet to come across one that isn't at least in their development pipeline. I simply add my vote and keep an eye on their development status. Not sure how to configure the application? Read their extremely comprehensive documentation. Still stuck? Ask their team for help, who always seem to get back to me within the same business day despite being on opposite ends of the globe.

I'm seriously struggling to find fault in this product. Even my colleagues are questioning why we didn't just set it up in our business earlier. It was a breeze to set up, it automatically patches ALL our applications and notifies us which ones, and it integrates with Intune seamlessly. I'd say we use it every day, but the truth is that it just does what it needs to do every day, without a thought or a click from me.

**What do you dislike about Patch My PC?**

I love the cloud.Where possible I'd like to not have an on-premise server hosting anything. It would be great if PatchMyPC was a web-based platform. Although with what I have seen from their "custom apps" web portal, I have a feeling this is already on the cards!

**What problems is Patch My PC solving and how is that benefiting you?**

"Available" installations in Intune do not allow for easy auto-updating unless you dive into the land of custom registry keys and detection scripts. With your product, all commonly used applications (even those that naughty users have decided to install from outside company portal) are automatically updated thanks to the packaged installers and crazy detection scripts that your in-house powershell wizard has conjured.

**What do you like best about Patch My PC?**

This product takes the work of publishing 3rd party software to Intune and patching 3rd party products so much easier.  We had struggled to keep everything updated, but this one, easy-to-use, product just took care of it for us.  We had hesitated in the past to find 3rd party products to do this in the past due to cost and complexity, but this was much cheaper than we imagined and very easy to get setup with help from Patchmypc.  It snaps right into Intune so that we can patch all workstations on a weekly basis.

**What do you dislike about Patch My PC?**

I don't like that you need an on-prem server for an Intune only deployment, but support assured me there was a solution coming very soon, so excited to see how that works.

We needed a product to patch 3rd party products when moving to Intune workstation management.

**What do you like best about Patch My PC?**

When it comes to products that handle the tedious but incredibly important job of application building this is definitly the product to breat. We can easily add new apps with a few buttons clicks, SCCM and Intune integration, even allowing custimization to the application building process. It's a gold mine and I couldn't see our current fully updated Software Library without it.

**What do you dislike about Patch My PC?**

Specifically for applications, please be careful with the "retain X number of versions." We normally keep two, but if you lower that number it doesn't always clean up the older version of application, meaning you'll have to manually go in and delete files and SCCm references.

**What problems is Patch My PC solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We need a lot of application built and continiously updated. It was incredible tedious and we didn't have a dedicated person for the job. Patch MyPc is like hiring someone to do the job of a team.

**What do you like best about Patch My PC?**

I was pleasantly surprised how easy PMPC was to set up and roll out. Our org had reviewed several tools for 3rd party patching, but we kept comping back to patch my PC because it was the easiest to configure and worked so well with Microsoft Intune. We had great meetings with Justin (founder/CEO) and the support staff and they we're excellent at answering all of our questions. We're still new to the platform, but it has been easy to learn and will frequently be used to patch our environment.

**What do you dislike about Patch My PC?**

Not really a complaint, but I am excited to see what innovations come with the future of PatchMyPC cloud. The current model is somewhat restricted when it comes to how many people can be simultaneously using the app. Cloud PMPC is pretty new, but looks really cool so far.

**What problems is Patch My PC solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We had a need to address 3rd party patching in our org and PMPC fulfilled all of our goals.

Patch My PC is a game-changer for achieving robust patching compliance. It automatically keeps your systems up-to-date with the latest security patches, eliminating the hassle of manual updates. And when a patch is missed, their responsive support team quickly jumps in to ensure your systems are protected, making it a nearly "set-it-and-forget-it" solution for peace of mind. We've automated our ADR to run every night and love it. We have notifications configured so we know of issues. Getting this all set to work with our configuration manager environment has been simple to implement and maintain.

**What do you dislike about Patch My PC?**

I honestly can't think of any real downsides to Patch My PC. The platform is so intuitive and effective that it has eliminated my previous frustrations with software updates and security vulnerabilities. The only thing I'm looking forward to is the full implementation of PSADT, which I believe will improve an already exceptional solution.

**What problems is Patch My PC solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Patch My PC is tackling the critical challenge of keeping systems up-to-date with the latest security patches, something that's often overlooked or tedious to manage manually. It's virtually eliminated the risk of third-party vulnerabilities on my systems. Before using Patch My PC, I constantly worried about outdated software exposing my network to attacks. Now, thanks to the automatic updates and proactive patching, I have near-complete confidence that my systems are protected against the latest threats. It's a huge weight off my shoulders knowing that I'm not constantly playing catch-up with security updates. This peace of mind allows me to focus on other crucial tasks, knowing that my systems are well-defended.

**What do you like best about Patch My PC?**

The easy handling and setup of the tool, but also the automated patching and reporting possibilities to connect/integrate it to teams to see what was patched in the last sync. Also it is very good that we can install it on an onprem server and control what we want to do and what not, but i guess the best feature ever is to give users pop ups so that the update never automatically closes an application, so i guess that is the best feature.

Maybe there is still a bit room for custom applications, but this is regarding FortiClient and i know that many companies have problems with the Forti so this is not related to Patch My PC

**What problems is Patch My PC solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Very fast resolvings of public CVEs and obviously it is much more secure and trustworthy then patching manually on the local pc including dependency- or detection rules.

**What do you like best about Patch My PC?**

I love the automatic deployment of new software applications without our small team having to review them and watch out for them so that we push them out ourselves. The ability to query our systems to also see what is out there is pivotal. We are patching software that we did not even know users utilized. I have also recently been introduced to Advanced Insights from the PatchMyPC Power Hour. This is a great overview of how our infrastructure is being patched.

**What do you dislike about Patch My PC?**

I have not found something yet that I dislike about the product.

PatchMyPC has been able to increase our security posture the day it was installed by allowing us to query our systems and push patches out seamlessly to our endpoints through Intune.

**What do you like best about Patch My PC?**

Patch My PC has been absolutely wonderful to deal wtih.  Not only do they have a wonderfully scripted solution to patching, they are very receptive to feedback and strive to make quality changes.  

They also support the community they serve by constantly being "out there" at events and engaging with even the smallest question.  I'd be hard pressed to find a more open company.

**What do you dislike about Patch My PC?**

In the "old format," at least, it was hard to discern where and how the sync was being handled from the Publisher app to Intune, at times.  Most of the time, it was spot on.  I'm hoping the new Cloud version remedies that, since it uses new code.

**What problems is Patch My PC solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I don't have to worry about version upkeep and updates.  It's just done for me, and done well.

The implementation of PatchMyPC was one of the easiest I have ever been part of.  We originally planned on using it with InTune, but realized we'd have to use SCCM for a while, and the implementation engineer didn't miss a beat and helped us get it install and configured quickly.  The software is super simple to use and does not have a complicated GUI and distribution process like their competitors do.  The fact that it integrates directly into InTune and SCCM is a huge plus for us.

**What do you dislike about Patch My PC?**

No issues to speak of thus far.  We have not had any issues since implementation, and the few questions we've had were quickly answered.  I hope this continues.

**What problems is Patch My PC solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Security in today's world means ensuring every system you have is patched to help create the smallest attach surface as possible to malicious actors.  The reputational risk of being breached would be extremely damaging to our firm, so tools such as PatchMyPC are integral to us.

Patch My PC is easy and effective to implement.  The onboarding process took less than an hour after which I was able to start creating deployments and updates for our Intune infrastructure.  The list of natively supported apps is quite large but does not encompass all apps we were interested in deploying.  That being said, the process of creating custom apps and updates is quite easy and really only adds one additional manual step to the process.

**What do you dislike about Patch My PC?**

I realize that each company is unique in their app deployment needs, but I would love to see more of the apps we need to manage added to the list of natively supported products.

**What problems is Patch My PC solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Patch My PC is allowing us to keep our Intune deployed apps up to date which is something that is quite difficult to do using the built in Microsoft tools.

Since implementing, we are now rolling out updates near instantly. We also have visibility on when updates are rolled out so we can be more aware and prepared for updates. Updates which would have otherwise taken days to package and deploy are being deployed in hours from release, often overnight, and on the weekend, we would not have the resources to do this manually without a 24/7 internal service desk without much to do.

**What problems is Patch My PC solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are now fully up and running with Patch My PC. So all our applications are automatically being sent out, and our security vulnerabilities are down considerably. Additionally, we have closed a potential security risk as we aren't initially deploying old applications which then need to update before they can become secure, thus leaving a security hole while the device is first being set up. This also reduces the potential for issues to creep in the way that we were seeing with Papercut as new applications are up to date from the start and therefore not experiencing issue when updates don't go perfectly.

**What do you like best about Patch My PC?**

IT.JUST.WORKS!  Too many products these days are half baked or seem to still be in beta when released, PatchMyPC integrated into SCCM smoothly and just took the stress out of patching all our different applications practically overnight.  

The ROI in the first year for us is around 200% minimum, it will help greatly with our migration from SCCM to InTune.

During the purchasing phase the sales team were very responsive but not too pushy and supplied us with all the information security information we needed to get the product approved.

Support were excellent during the onboarding and initial setup phase and were very flexible with us.

**What do you dislike about Patch My PC?**

There is very little to dislike, if I had to pick something, the interface is a little dated but it all works and you can find everything you need in sensible places.

The InTune integration didn't work straight away and we needed some assitance from support to get it working but they took us through it step by step and we got the issues resolved.

**What problems is Patch My PC solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Mnaging the patching in SCCM manually was consuming a great deal of our security teams time and non-critical patches were getting left due to the volume of critical patches.  PatchMyPC allowed us to get all our critical and non critical patching done with a huge return of time back to the team.

Patch My PC has an extensive catalog, superb integration with Intune, and a fantastic support team! You just check a few boxes of the apps you want to patch and within 2-3 minutes apps are in Intune. It is highly customizable yet still effortless to use. I am able to create automation for my app deployments.

**What do you dislike about Patch My PC?**

The documentation can have more examples on how to use certain functions. Lack certain basic features like icons or sync flexibility like "sync every two weeks". If you switch tabs you have scroll again to go back to which app you were on. if you accidentally uncheck an app and recheck it, it resets all the settings for that app. Assignment done on Intune does now show up in PMYPC, yet it has the rights and does to scan of Intune. 

i'd like to see these features but nothing major dislike. Oh yeah, we need MAC!!! support, that will be a major Win.

**What problems is Patch My PC solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Saving time of downloading, packaging, and testing. It helped standardize apps across the company with app versions and names. Patch My PC helped us handle CVEs very quickly and reduce our secure score on Defender portal.

I dont have to dealw ith the horrible microsoft intune app packaging settings anymore, its all done from the patch my pc publisher. they keep the apps up to date so i dont have to! it is set and forget, we arent spending time every week constantly reviewing our applications. and their customer service is incredibly helpful.

A cloud dashboard would be helpful so that the rest of the sysadmins could login and do things and not just me for now.

Keeping our comapny portal in intune up to date. we were spending hours going through our app catalouge and keeping things current, this has eliminated that task completletly.

Pushing out updates/apps is a lot faster than just in intune.  Found that it would take at least a couple of hours for app/updates to get pushed out.  Easier to package several files together for deployment

**What do you like best about Patch My PC?**

I've used Patch My PC at multiple organizations throughout my career. Each time, we've seen an immediate ROI due to the time savings, security risk mitigation, and overall level of effort reduction surround ing application packaging, publishing, and maintenance. This tool makes it simple for anyone to be able to quickly and efficiently deliver applications to your user population. The PMPC support team are helpful, responsive, and always willing to demonstrate solutions to any questions we have. On top of all that, the setup is incredibly simple and takes minimal time to begin publishing apps to your environment. My team uses the tool every day and, well... it just works!

**What do you dislike about Patch My PC?**

Nothing! My only complaints are due to internal shortfalls based on the way my organization builds our reporting. For example, I would love to have the ability for the PMPC publisher to map the Developer and Owner fields in Intune, as this is a heavily used reporting mechanism in our environment.

**What problems is Patch My PC solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Time spent on manual app packaging/update efforts, vulnerability remediation, and most of all - peace of mind. I can sleep easy knowing that my team is not unknowingly exposing the organization to undue levels of risk, as the majority of our 3rd party applications are automatically updates with the latest patches.

**What do you like best about Patch My PC?**

PMPC has enabled me to keep up with all of those ancillary applications that every company uses, but no one actually "owns."  The OS, Office, your EDR, probably your security software - someone in the organization understands and manages their upgrade cycle. But what about 7-Zip? Notpad++?  PuTTY?  

And not only patching, but it will create and distribute the applications as they are updated.  We used to have a quarterly packaging session where we'd go out and see what the current version of these ownerless apps was and replace what we had.  No more are we deploying 90day old Google Chrome that then needs to upgrade after the first launch.

**What do you dislike about Patch My PC?**

The name.  It is PMPC to me.  I, personally, was skeptical after having seen the obviously consumer-centric ads for it. I had resistance to bringing in what people saw as a "Consumer" software into the enterprise.  But, once we were past that, it has been nothing but useful.

**What problems is Patch My PC solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Patching the apps no one owns.  Keeping the applications that everyone forgets up to date.

**What do you like best about Patch My PC?**

Patch My is super easy to use. It saves a ton time by just being able to specify the apps we want to keep up to date and then handling the rest for us. It is a set it and forget it method. There are also tons of controls for when and how to update things, as well as grandular controls for each app. It takes the headache out of keeping software for a large org up to date. We use it for all of our Windows machines. The app catalog is exstensive and we very rarely come across an app that isn't already in there. Customer support was great when we had an issue and very prompt.

**What do you dislike about Patch My PC?**

The UI leaves a little to be desired in terms of looks, but is still quite usable.

**What problems is Patch My PC solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Patch My is keeping all of our apps up to date across the org automatically. We no longer need to remind users when a new version of something comes out to update.

Implementation was easy and the features was straight forward. 

Never been easier to patch third party tool. Publishing apps to SCCM and Intune, and updating app is easy as ABC.

Customer support were really helpful.

Patch My PC resolves our backlog updates and have been consistent in updating keeping our Tenable score down.

Not a dislike but hoping that in the future, PmPc will collaborate with Tenable and having function to move apps from System Center to Intune will be an added advantage.

PMP assist with patching and updating non-microsoft sofware seamlessly on a daily basis. The product is set and forget with catalogues updated regulary. Seamless integration into Intune takes are of a fully autmated solution.

2. it helps standarize the packaging process

1. The publisher needs a web console!
2. There needs to be an easier method testing new packages. 
The process by creating the package with post scripts, command line -> synchronize with intune -> assignment -> and finally delivery of the package is very time consuming, especially when you struggle with a package and you getting installation errors.
For example direct integration of the powershell app deployment toolkit.

The ease of deploying new software to our clients. It helps us to be complient and up to date. For us, IIt´s important that we can request more sorftware to be supported in the portal. Using Patch My PC has made keeping our software up to date a breeze. The time savings has been invaluable. Setup was simple and the integration with Intune helped to indentify all of the software that we needed to keep updated. Despite the ease of setup, I still scheduled a time to walk through everything with a support team member. He was extremely professional and made some additional suggestions to make our implimentation more beneficial. Notifications for updated software are available through email and a Teams webhook which ensure that our team is aware of what software has been recently updated.

Honestly, I do not have anything that I dislike.

Patch My PC has taken all of the work out of processing updates for our software.

Patch My PC saved us a ton of time and many man-hours preparing patches for deployment. Most of deployments itself are easy and automated. The integration was completed within an hour with full support from the vendor.

We have only ran into one and I think it is our own doing. We lost communication between the server and the site. I think it is when we locked things down. We will address this. Again, everything else was easy and has helped us to keep on top of our 3rd party patching.
