PmP is simple, compact and has excellent documentation. The support is effortless to schedule and use. I had two support sessions with Wes where my problems were solved, questions were answered, and best practices were applied. The price point is also very competitive. Technical aspects I appreciate: The variety of options to auto deploy Applications | Auto selection of detected updates/applications to offer | Straightforward integration with SCCM | Routine reports | The ability to provide licensed software such as Oracle Java (after manually obtaining them). It is easy, effective, and affordable. **What do you dislike about Patch My PC?** Compared to other products, it does not have a fancy web interface or AD integration. I do prefer the simplicity though, it depends upon the user. There were some 3rd party apps missing we would have liked, but we submitted that to their website. **What problems is Patch My PC solving and how is that benefiting you?** The two largest problems PmP is solving is effective use of (labor) resources and providing timely 3rd party security updates for our environment. Options are easy to follow and change as needed. The training videos are great tools for setup and questions, and the customer service is top notch. Any time I've opened up a case, it has gotten very quick attentions and resolution. Something that I haven't started to utilize, but, plan to look into is the Application publishing for "latest versions". We are currently doing this manually. It will be nice to get this automated. **What do you dislike about Patch My PC?** There are a lot of options to learn and test in our environment, and finding the time to spend working through each patch has been a constraint in fully utilizing the product. This is more of a problem with my job role and workload rather than an issue with PatchMyPC. Currently I've only published a limited number of patches into our SCCM system due to the complexity of our environment and limitations of my time. Going forward, we are planning to publish everything needed by our systems, based on the scanning option. I am not looking forward to this, as it's going to be a lot of work testing and setting up exceptions and deployment collections. **What problems is Patch My PC solving and how is that benefiting you?** The problem solved is patching 3rd party vendor applications easily and as part of our normal Microsoft monthly patching process. The automation of the publishing of the 3rd party patches directly into SCCM has been a huge time saver. The initial installation was very simple. Patch My PC took care of most of the environment configuration during the installation. I had a small certificate issue, but support was very quick to respond and helped resolve the problem. Usage has been a breeze. I decide which applications I want to update and go. I am very satisfied. **What do you dislike about Patch My PC?** As of writing this review, I have not found anything about Patch My PC that I do not like. They are quick to respond to questions, and suggestions. Hands down one of the best vendors in our long list of vendors. If had to pick a close second, it's the broad suite of applications supported for patching. It's a really great value. **What do you dislike about Patch My PC?** There's honestly not much to dislike about a solution that helps us keep our apps up to date without investing much time. Others on our team also couldn't give an example of something they don't like about it. There is no integration with the SCCM console like other products on the market (Ivanti) makes the tool very convenient and easy to use (and fast). The user prompt notification/snooze option made one of our deployments a breeze! The onboarding process was terrific; they answered all our questions by e-mail. **What do you dislike about Patch My PC?** This product does not offer a way to see/modify the detection rule of updates like Ivanti. This saves us tons of time not only trying to create the intune installer with the correct command line to install but also the fact that it monitors for updates to the software from the vendor website and just downloads and pushes that out as well. It is a great tool that integrates with our existing patching deployments. We are a very lean organization, and maintaining another tool outside of MECM to patch 3rd party apps would have been a dealbreaker. With PatchMyPC, we just integrated the patches into our regular monthly deployments and pleased IT security with our ability to patch many more vulnerabilities. That's why we got to use the MSP version before it was released so we could already onboard some of our customers. We're absolutely happy with the ease of deploying and updating 3rd party apps now, almost feels like a set-and-forget feature. **What do you dislike about Patch My PC?** The only thing I could come up with is that my e-mails were lost during a conversation. Got an apology about that and everything went smooth from there. Not only does PatchMyPC package applications correct, but it also helps keep your applications up to date with customizations. The new right-click options make the product better in every way. Keep doing what you do, PatchMyPC. **What do you dislike about Patch My PC?** I have not found anything that I dislike about the product so far. **What problems is Patch My PC solving and how is that benefiting you?** I am a Systems Architect and don't have time to package applications and provide updates when vulnerabilities are presented.
