**What do you like best about Patch My PC?**

It was easy to setup and start patching. Did not require any additional services

**What do you dislike about Patch My PC?**

We have only ran into one and I think it is our own doing. We lost communication between the server and the site. I think it is when we locked things down. We will address this. Again, everything else was easy and has helped us to keep on top of our 3rd party patching.

**What problems is Patch My PC solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Addressing patches for 3rd party applications that we previously had to perform manually.

**What do you like best about Patch My PC?**

The process of maintaining and updating third-party applications in our Intune environment has been made easy. With its automatic updates, we no longer have to worry about outdated installers in our application catalog. The engineering team's workload is significantly reduced as all applications are updated with little to no effort on their part.  Patch My PC is easy to integrate and manage.  Customer support has been there every step of the way.

**What do you dislike about Patch My PC?**

The interface looks outdated and could use some work.

**What problems is Patch My PC solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Patch My PC updates our 3rd party applications automatically. This is beneficial to me because I used to spend hours a day packaging and deploying several application updates for applications in our environment.  This also keeps security happy as we are now patched and have less risk.

**What do you like best about Patch My PC?**

Patch my PC is a very straight foward and powerful application. In the first few weeks it has already saved me hours of manual work creating intune applications and reviewing updates for software.
They have very resoponsive customer service, they set it up with me and I have had no issues since.

**What do you dislike about Patch My PC?**

There is no test group feature - I would love a "trial update" group - especially for our more imporatnt apps.
It would be nice to have as a filter.

**What problems is Patch My PC solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our Intune complicance is now a much higher score as our software is up to date.
We had issues with version control of apps, espcially applications installed on just one or two devices.

Our cyber security score has improved since purchasing Patch My PC.

**What do you like best about Patch My PC?**

The product helps in patching more easily than ever. I was looking around for a product to help patch a specific application and came across this amazing product called Patch My PC. My first impression was the ease of implementation of the hassle-free trial and the ability to extend the trial three times before convincing my boss. They literally held my hand in the implementation process. I have never seen a product that gets the same customer support during the trial as a paid product. When the team was on a company retreat, I got a support issue that affected all the users in our organization, and I put in a support ticket to talk to someone urgent and get a scheduled call.

**What do you dislike about Patch My PC?**

The only thing for me is the assignment of the application, whether to do it at patch my pc or in Intune. I am still struggling with that part.

**What problems is Patch My PC solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I don't have to spend time trying to figure out how to uninstall the old version of the application to install the new version. With some applications, which can be a nightmare.

**What do you like best about Patch My PC?**

We found PatchMyPC easy to implement, easy to integrate into our already existing toolset (SCCM especially), and easy to use.

As a member of the security team at my organization, I can rest easy knowing that our SCCM Admin has the tools they need to address application vulnerabilities as soon as they are discovered in Tenable.

**What do you dislike about Patch My PC?**

I would love to see more supported applications relevant to my company.

**What problems is Patch My PC solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The number one priority of Patch My PC at our organization is for vulnerability remediations. So far, Patch My PC has sped up that process dramatically, turning what used to be a long, aduious process into a couple of button presses.

Keeping software updated on devices can be challenging, many places like ours use Microsoft Intune to deploy software, the downside is that you have to manually update the packages when there are new releases.  With Patch My PC and the integration with Intune automates the entire process.

**What do you dislike about Patch My PC?**

Some of the wording in the app can get confusing when it comes to App install vs App Patching

What I like most is that I don't have to worry about searching for new app updates every day.

I don't like the way to create a custom apps, the first time when you try to configure a custom app can be very confusing

We have so many 3rd party apps installed and was very hard to keep all of them up-to-date, before PatchMyPC was very time consuming the way we updated the apps. Now patchMyPC do almost all the job for us

**What do you like best about Patch My PC?**

The ease of use and how simple it was to stand up alongside Intune. Set it and forget it - I've not had a reason to go into the publishing service unless I was adding or removing an application. Otherwise it just works as intended and I haven't had any issues with it thus far. I also like the fact that a trial license is offered with full capabilities, letting you get a true taste of what you're getting into prior to purchase.

**What do you dislike about Patch My PC?**

Eventually I would like a SaaS version of this that I would happily pay more for. I know this is on the roadmap and look forward to seeing what that looks like.

**What problems is Patch My PC solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Patch management overhead - we no longer need to invest time into subscribing to update channels and manually upload/test package distribution.

The software assists a lot in keeping all software updated.
The pre-packaging works well and the helpdesk is really usefull to assist in implementing it to whatever tool you use, SCCM, Intune and so on.
The training is also great in using the software ant making the best out of it.
Even for personal use I use it.

I've no complaints about it whatsoever so far.

**What do you like best about Patch My PC?**

We have been so pleased with the Patch My PC Product, Right from the Demo we could see how easy the soultion was to use and how it had all the features we where missing with our current patching process. 
Patch My PC intergration with Intune has made it a breeze to implement into our current setup, We used the trial period to setup and configure Patch My PC and with in less then a couple of days had it setup configured and deploying software to users!! 
Customer Support team where amazing to deal with, We noticed a piece of software we used that was missing in the catalogue, after requesting it to be added it was in the update catalogue less then a week later!

This is a tool that you will not be dissapointed with, have used many 3rd party patching products and this has so many features with a nice easy interface really makes me wish i found it earlier!

**What do you dislike about Patch My PC?**

We have not found any downsides to PMPC it has been a great product to use, The only downside is the minimum cost that you need to pay, even if you have a small fleet of computers you still need to pay the minimum cost.

**What problems is Patch My PC solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Patch My PC has solved the issue of updating and managing 3rd party application updates. We now have an automated solution through Patch My PC to keep all connected computers running the latest and most secure version of the products. 
This has reduced the complication of updates for users automating the whole process.

**What do you like best about Patch My PC?**

The ease of use. Everything is simplistic and has saved our organization many hours when it comes to patching. Before using PatchMyPC, I spent countless hours manually patching software after hours. Since implementation, it is rare that I am working after hours to patch software. The software is user friendly, documentation is amazing, and this has allowed us to never have to contact support.

**What do you dislike about Patch My PC?**

I don't dislike anything about PatchMyPC. The only thing that could be beneficial is if there was a hosted option. Instead of having the software hosted on-premise, having it hosted could prove to be useful.

**What problems is Patch My PC solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Automation of patches for common applications - instead of having to manually push out patches we can just click a button.

**What do you like best about Patch My PC?**

The simplicity of the product and the ability to respond flexibly to requirements convinced us to enter into a partnership with them. When I talk about partnership, it is also important to receive the necessary support. This is not an issue with patchmypc. Our thirst for knowledge was always quenched promptly and in a very pleasant way, despite the time zone shift. If necessary, real technicians talk to technicians so that solutions can be found very quickly. From my point of view, patchmypc is a partner that is technologically and technically very far ahead.

**What do you dislike about Patch My PC?**

You need more events, meet and greets in Europe.

**What problems is Patch My PC solving and how is that benefiting you?**

CVE management and migration of the sccm packages to intune.

Very straightforward to install, with lots of helpful guidelines, and even more helpful support staff all along the journey.
Automatic updates - removing the (often retroactive, after a vulnerability has been published) task of obtaining/packaging/deploying patches for the 200+ applications we have which are easily managed by PMPC

**What do you dislike about Patch My PC?**

Would like to simplify customised install scripts

**What problems is Patch My PC solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Keeping applications updated - dealing with out of support versions without having to check back with all vendors individually.
Of great benefit to my company as required to keep all machine software in support/fully security patched for auditing requirements

Honestly it's hard to imagine using SCCM without PMP, I moved to a new orginization last year and immediatly felt the pain of not having PMP configured in our SCCM environment. The application creation process is super quick and turns a 2 hour manual process into 5 minutes - not to mention the custom conflicting process window that helps navigate installing/updating apps with low user impact.

This is the first time I installed PMP from scratch and it was a breeze, with constant help from support, it took me only an hour to get up a running.

I think that there is a small gap with documentation, I understand that using PMP requires some SCCM knowledge, but it can be daunting to new admins.

I think the biggest problem I am facing at the moment is the increasing amount of vulnerabilities that need patching via application updates. PMP allowed me to quickly deploy new application versions to help us with this struggle.

Now its setup we dont need to touch on it much. The support team and intial setup were great - very friendly and knowledgeable - and had us up and running in an hour.  Also as a freebee they have a patch Tuesday update call - monthly IT security run down.

I love everything about the service. It has removed the burden of packaging apps every time a new update comes out. It makes it super easy to update the ESP, initial deployments, and updates. The pre/post-script feature is awesome! It was super easy to set up and once you have it set up, you can forget it exists until you need to deploy a new app.

This isn't specifically due to PatchMyPC, but some vendors don't have a public download for their applications. This prohibits automated patching.

Keeping apps on endpoints up to date & making sure we are deploying the lastest version to avoid any vulnerabilities.

**What do you like best about Patch My PC?**

#1 item that got this approved by management is the value out of the box. We were able to package and deploy the latest Adobe updates through Intune day 1.  Then we tackled Chrome on day 2, and have been gradually adding apps.  The built in scripts for detecting installed products for an update have given us back a lot of the functionality we left behind in SCCM for targeting.

What helped me decide was the expert support we recieved, before, during, and after the purchase.  Any questions that I have not found in the KB, I was able to get quick answers via chat or email. Intune setup was a breeze with the existing documentation.

We plan on getting to the point where we can turn on the automated rule to deploy product updates based on vulnerability status, and have optional deployments of all supported/approved software. This just leave the monitoring to us and save us all the time tracking software release versions. The time saved every week is easily the equivalant to having a 4th engineer on staff at a fraction of the cost, and will leave us free to package the few titles that are not avaiable, and administering our environment.

**What do you dislike about Patch My PC?**

The only Cons I can really see at this point are:
No filtered view so you can easily see what you deployed
Custom apps - we turned on preview mode to get this feature, and I understand it should be avaialbe in the main product soon.
Popup windows - When you query the Intune data, you cannot leave that window open and see the main app window.

These are truly minor things compared to things have gained, and can be managed.

**What problems is Patch My PC solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Keeping up with Adobe, Chrome, Notepad++, and many other app updates to maintain workstation compliance. Tasking someone to keep track of CVE releases for our core products was cumbersome. Generally we were getting notified of the vulnerability and then having to stop what we are doing, test and deploy to the company.  Now we already have it rolling out before it is on their radar. The built in script testing for the updated product before installing means we don't have to build targeting groups, and testing for app to be in use saves us time redoing scripts every month.

I really appreciate the amount of time it saves me on my day to day management of MECM, we've recently upgraded to the Premium license and PMPC is able to create and distribute application packages automatically after a few clicks with zero fuss. It's something that I use every day and rarely have any problems. The setup and maintenance is very easy to get working and their support is also top-notch. I had a setup call with one of their engineers and they guided me from start to finish and were very knowledgeable. Highly recommended.

Some of the best features are locked behind the Premum subscription, but since upgrading we haven't been disappointed with making the additional investment.

PatchMyPC is so easy, a caveman could do it. After setting up PatchMyPC with our rep, he showed us a section that scanned our Intune environment for apps they have packaged and in our system. We patched over 6,500 critical vulnerabilities in a week and seriously improved our risk score with this.

The customer support experience through this process has been phenomenal. We got our patching set to daily and it has been a dream to integrate with Intune. Once setup, you essentially can forget about it. I've been in it 3 times for selecting apps and updates and have not touched it since.

The interface could be updated, but it works. You don't always have to change something if it is not broken.

Patch My PC is a great asset to keep your environment more secure by patching third-party applications automatically. 
The installation is straight-forward and easy to set up, if you face any difficulties, their support answers pretty fast and are a great help. They have a solution for online- and/or airgapped devices. 

Once set up, not a lot of maintenance is required. The software pretty much runs itself and is able to send reports of new updates via email/other.

**What do you dislike about Patch My PC?**

The search function in the publisher app is not that great, but you can find what you need by going through the supported software list. 

Monitoring of the installed/failed patches is not that easy to follow up, you can see an overview in the publisher app or export to csv and see statistics in PowerBI (using their template).

**What problems is Patch My PC solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Patch My PC patches insecure versions of applications fast and automatically, saving our administrators a ton of time. 
Making software available in Intune (required install and- or company portal) is made easy and straightforward.

**What do you like best about Patch My PC?**

I have been using MECM to maintain Windows systems for many (ten?) years, and have used other vendor's products to manage third-party updates. PatchMyPC is pretty simple in that once you get it set up, those updates will just show up in MECM and can be deployed along with all the Microsoft updates. Since many third-party apps don't adhere to the monthly patching cycle (or they have to release multiple updates a month) having this in place makes adding those new updates a breeze. If you are using ADRs (Automatic Deployment Rules) those can be leveraged with PMPC to push out third-party updates just like you'd do with the M$ updates. I was suspicious when I first started using PMPC as my experience had all been with Shavlik / Ivanti (or a sub-branding of that like what Lenovo uses) and while they worked they weren't as seamless as I had hoped. PMPC has been great to use and it's a much better experience when integrating the updates with MECM. It's like I don't really know it's there, but it's always working. PMPC is definitely worth the price per machine for how this helps keep our security scores in check. Also - and this is something you don't always think about - the 'other guys' support is online forums first, and if you can't find the answer there they might be able to find an engineer (which may take a week or more). PMPC is very proactive in helping you if you have an issue. I've seen them respond to Reddit threads in less than an hour - so they're actively watching and waiting to help you if something isn't working right - even if you don't go directly to them for help.

**What do you dislike about Patch My PC?**

PMPC does take a bit more effort to get set up initially, but their support engineers actually made that super simple (well, they helped it go a lot smoother). Once you do get it set up, it's almost a set and forget kind of thing, which can present other challenges of remembering how to make changes when you do need to make updates to the settings or application list. Another thing to be aware of is if you enable the packaging option, make sure you have the space to push those out. We filled up most of our DPs as we had set up new versions to be deployed out everywhere, and promptly ran out of space. Once I figured that out (disabled the auto-packaging and removed them from the DPs), we were fine. Hopefully where you work space isn't at a premium because the auto-packaging looks super nice for pushing out any new versions as they are released.

**What problems is Patch My PC solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We've seen a dramatic reduction in our security score since implementing PMPC. We've reduced the overall need to update the imaging process as we know that even if we're only updating apps quarterly, third-party software will get updated to current in an hour or two after hitting the domain.

I live the flexibility and automation behind PMPC. It has taken much of my schedule and freed up much of time since we implemented this.

I would like to see MacOS support, since we are adding more Macs in our environment.

Require on prem server to configure/manage the patching with SCCM and Intune - no cloud/web option yet to manage SCCM and Intune remotly.

Since deploying PMPC our vulnerability score has been trending down and staying lower than ever.

My only dislike so far is that there are certain apps in their catalog that require a manual download.

On our patching journey we tried several things that integrated into Intune for 3rd party patching. Most of them didn't do that good of a job, wanted a ton of money or didn't patch some of our most used software.

PMP does exactly what it says on the label, and has a ton of genuinely cool features. The support was fantastic and it was easy to get started. The pricing was also transparent which not many vendors offer.

Not having support in my local timezone meaning overnight replies is one downside, but they are responsive when sending enquiries.

**What problems is Patch My PC solving and how is that benefiting you?**

PMP is helping with vulnerability management across the orgnisation, as well as Win32 application deployment. It means apps that do not MSIs can be deployed across our fleet and centralised to a single tool.

To tell the truth, the easiest part of Patch My PC is that after inital implementation, I virtually never have to worry about it. Patch My PC simply just works. It integrates seamlessly with SCCM & Intune environments with all its automated processes. With a  small IT team, we would be spending half our work week patching vulneralbilities if it wasn't for Patch My PC.

In my use case, there are no downsides with how we use Patch My PC. It's one of the few softwares that I can say that about.

Patch My PC is incredible easy to setup and use. The quick and simple integration into Intune means we had this all setup in a matter of minutes. 
The automatic features also make the long term use very attractive, and as we are using this daily is helps us out a lot with software patching.
We did reach out to support for their technical review of our setup and they were able to point out some things we had missed and were very helpful and friendly during that call.
Fantastic service from them  all.

**What do you dislike about Patch My PC?**

The one thing we would like to see improved in reporting, so we can have break down exportable reports of how well the patching is going. A summary of machines that have been successfully patched and which ones are failing. This would save us having to dig through Intune to get reports on this.
So better reporting features would go a long way!
