The installation process was straightforward, but Patch My PC made it even easier by providing videos and hands-on with a live support engineer. Everything was set up and working within 30 minutes. Post-install support is excellent. They respond quickly to forum questions and open tickets. **What do you dislike about Patch My PC?** The Patch My PC Publisher app has to be installed and launched on the Software Update Point server. A bit inconvenient, so we hope a remote Publisher console will be offered soon. A handful of critical applications, such as Adobe Acrobat, can be updated but can't be automatically created and deployed. **What problems is Patch My PC solving and how is that benefiting you?** Our company has many non-Microsoft applications; keeping them updated has been challenging and time-consuming. The integrations into SCCM make deploying new applications a breeze, just check a box and let PMPC take care of the rest. **What do you dislike about Patch My PC?** Some applications require me to download an installer manually, but even that is understandable as some software is behind a paywall or the provider creates custom install packages to deploy. Updating the third-party software that our employees use is as simple as selecting the software we want to review, then deploying the updates in your WSUS Server or in SCCM to your test machines for review according to our patch process. PatchMyPC reliably only installs the updates when an older version of the software is already installed on the computer. We have been using PatchMyPC for five years, and I have yet to see an issue with an update. These days, you need to do more than update operating systems and Microsoft Office. Hackers are also looking for third-party software vulnerabilities, and PatchMyPC updates these applications. PatchMyPC also lets me know whether every update provides a patch to a security vulnerability, provides a bug fix, or provides new features to the application. On those rare occasions where I have needed to contact PatchMyPC support, support has worked quickly to understand my question and to find a solution. I have never seen a software that saves me so much time. Managing so many endpoints and ensuring thirdparty softwares are in compliance has never been easier until I tried PMP. It is mind blowing how it just work out of the box. The flexibility of being able to add additional command line parameters to each software update is great and even creating application packages from the updates is great. Our organization did not wait until the trial was over before we purchased the subscription. To add icing on the cake, the community videos hands-on/demos about ConfigMgr that the CEO (Justin) and several of the PMP staffs have routinely create via Youtube has really helped me learned about ConfigMgr over the years. For example, I had to migrate our ConfigMgr server to a new hardware and that was daunting and intimidating. However, I was able to achieve this tasks with huge thanks for Justin's video with a step by step. This helps us with Cybersecurity insurance compliance among other IT audits we have to pass yearly. **What do you dislike about Patch My PC?** I disliked that I did not tried this out when I first heard about it online several years ago. Every time I go out to their website I find some new helpful feature I didn't know beforel. **What do you dislike about Patch My PC?** The only thing I can think that is a negative is that the publishing service needs an internally managed server to maintain. I'd much rather have a cloud app that I log into and the enterprise app connector does all the work, even if it means I wouldn't have the ability to support apps with manual download requirements. **What problems is Patch My PC solving and how is that benefiting you?** We have a dedicated resource for app packaging and he can't keep up on the constant updates to all our published apps. Worked with a representative. He was very insightful in providing exact troubleshooting details. Issue reported, unable to dowmnload x64 bit version. Jake provided the necessary input and isolated the root issue, where it turned out the secret client expored and needed to create new one. Also suggested to rename the backup directory and this did the trick as we were able to then download and publish the update on company portal. **What do you dislike about Patch My PC?** As our company grows , so do the number of internal applications we manage. There were a few which are not available in the Patch My PC catalog for download and udpate, therefore manual efforts are required in SCCM or Intune to build out packages for deployment. A few Applications in our Environment are missing, but they are constantly updating the Catalog with new Applications. **What problems is Patch My PC solving and how is that benefiting you?** We used to manually update the Packages in SCCM and Intune, which takes a lot of time, doing it in both environments and running Tests to see if everything works correctly. Before this product, I could only dedicate a day every couple of months to repackaging out-of-date applications and ensuring endpoints were getting 3rd party patches, and only for applications nearly everyone used. Now with PatchMyPC, every night at 7, all endpoints get daily application updates, regardless of how many users use an application. It allowed for easy detection of supported applications and automation of package creation and assignment. It's also helped get our IT security folks off my back! **What do you dislike about Patch My PC?** No real complaints.PatchMyPC works exactly as I need it to. They have a bunch of software in their catalogue and add new by the day. Managing Google Chrome for example, PatchMyPC notifies when new updates are released, downloads the content, updates any app or task sequence with the new software on the server. and deploys it right away. (if you wish to fully automate it.) So the app is simply up to date on all of our Clients without ANY administrative task whatsoever. Can be configured in many ways and new features are constantly added. **What do you dislike about Patch My PC?** There is no downside really. If you manage third party apps and updates with SCCM/Intune, this is such a great software. So only if you have mostly self-written apps in SCCM, then there would be no bebefit. **What problems is Patch My PC solving and how is that benefiting you?** The software eliminates the need to check for new patches from defined vendors and have the update automatically deployed regarding to your needs.
