**What do you like best about Patch My PC?**

The peace of mind that our apps are always up to date on our enpoints through Intune is a big plus. The software was very easy to install and the application catalog is very big compared to other solutions we've tested. The few time we had to contact support, they were quick to solve the issue or help us out.

**What do you dislike about Patch My PC?**

The UI of the publisher is somewhat outdated and takes a bit of time to get used to. From my experience, the SaaS version is still limited and not feature complete.

**What problems is Patch My PC solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Automating application updates for better security is crutial and we found that the Intune integration of PatchMyPC was what we were missing.

We’ve been using Patch My PC for SCCM for third-party application updates and application packaging for 3 months, and it has significantly improved our patch management process. Your solution has saved us countless hours by automating what used to be a tedious and manual process. It also has sped up our software packaging process by being able to import applications from your catalog.

How much it facilitates the deployment and patching of applications. Its easy to use UI, and quick customer support.

**What do you dislike about Patch My PC?**

Since the transition of Scappman features are still ongoing, I'm missing the capacity of being able to modify all the scripts that are used during the installation of the apps, and also the apparent incapacity of uninstalling instances of certain applications that installed in the user scope of the system.

**What problems is Patch My PC solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Chasing users to get application updates installed or removed and making the applications easily available on Company Portal.

**What do you like best about Patch My PC?**

Integration with InTune. Much more user intuitive than our last solution. Huge software database. The customer support has been world class so far. Set up was quick and easy. SSO integration makes it easy to log in and use. The ability to suggest improvements and changes.

**What do you dislike about Patch My PC?**

So far it has been superior to our old solution in every way and the only thing I don't like about it so far is that the cloud product doesn't have all the features that the on prem product has. I know they're working on stuff though and we look forward to many of the feature updates.

The ability to keep our 3rd party software up to date in a way that easily integrates with Intune.

Patch My PC has made managing the hundres of Client and Server Third-Party applications we use in our enviorment a breeze to tested and keep updated in our client and server enviornments.

**What do you dislike about Patch My PC?**

Nothing, has saved me countless hours of scripting and creating applications in both MECM and Intune.

**What problems is Patch My PC solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Patch My PC has made our Application and Patching of Third-Party Applications in both Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager and Intune a very automated and efficient process. We are able to configure our Update Rings for each application to keep a standard cadence and communication with our user base. It has made keeping our users up-to-date and secure much simplier across all our our widely used applications.

**What do you like best about Patch My PC?**

It helped our one man Intune team stay on top of patching all the applications instead of just patching windows updates. From a security analyst perspective it helps our organization keep up with patching the multitude of applications our users install. Before Patch My PC we would have to send tickets in to have specific applications updated. It was a time consuming and straining process for an already busy person.

This has enabled us in the security team to breathe a sigh of relief knowing that this tool is helping keep an eye on critical CVE's to proactively help our System Administrator. I really like how it notifies us ahead of time that it has already patched a critical vulnerability so we don't have to pester people after seeing an article online about the newest threat.

It was easy to integrated into our intune environment and it appears to have implemented without any issues reported to us.

**What do you dislike about Patch My PC?**

I haven't really found a downside to using this. If there was anything I would think that it would be sometimes there are applications that aren't in their library, but my understanding from our System Admin is that it doesn't take long to get something added.

**What problems is Patch My PC solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Critical Vulnerabilites with Applications that need to be addressed in a prompt manner. It benefits us in the amount of time it saves having to go to individual PCs and update the software installs manually.

Some really well known apps are not in the catalog because of reasons.

It' not longer need to create and maintain my own scripts to check for the latest product version. It saves me a lot of time!

**What do you like best about Patch My PC?**

Easy integration with Intune. The best feature is the ability to have PMPC look at software inventory on your devices and update software that wasn't initially pushed from Intune.
Large application catalog that is constantly updated as well. The reports that get sent when an app or update is made available is great, as it shows thte severity of the update and which CVEs are mitigated. Also - dynamic assignments are a life saver!

**What do you dislike about Patch My PC?**

Honestly, nothing. Everything from sales to support and day-to-day use has been great.

**What problems is Patch My PC solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Removes the manual effort required to constantly react to new software vulnerabilities. This is mostly set-and-forget, and watch as your Defender Secure Score increases while you focus your efforts on higher priority items.

PatchMyPC does a great job of keeping common applications up to date in Intune for us without having to constantly seearch and make sure the latest version are maintained.   Many self updating apps only are update if the user launches them.    PatchMyPC allows us to make sure the apps are updated even if not frequesntly used.

**What do you dislike about Patch My PC?**

Having to use a hosted app on one of our servers.  A cloud only version now exists that we will eventually switch over to once it is fully feature complete with the existing app

**What problems is Patch My PC solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Patching common apps automatically and keeping them up to date without relying on a user to open the app to allow for auto update.

**What do you like best about Patch My PC?**

This is truly a set it and forget it solution for 3rd party patching and custom apps. It literally does all the heavy lifting for you whether it is an update or full base application for either Intune or Config Manager.

The publishing service was easy to implement with our environment. We added Intune integration with just a few clicks. We frequently check the supported products catalog and make changes as needed. Being able to compare products via the Config Mgr database streamlines the process as well by taking the guesswork out.

Our patch response frequency has been minimized so we can focus our efforts on being proactive and not reactive.

Patch My PC support is super easy to work with. Each expert we've worked with has been competent, easy to communicate with and knowledgeable.

**What do you dislike about Patch My PC?**

The only downside about Patch My PC is not being able to downgrade products via the publishing service. For example: a buggy release, now we have to scramble to rip and replace a product and make some exclusions to collections so they don't get the buggy patch or base app.

**What problems is Patch My PC solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Patch My PC is giving our team countless time back as we don't have to worry about packing apps and updates and testing them. I love that everything just works and we can periodically scan our database and see if we need to add more products to our patching schedule.

**What do you like best about Patch My PC?**

Patch My PC is (in my opinion) the leader appliation packaging and deployments. They were doing it before winget. They were doing it before Microsoft's Enterprise Application Add-on. Their application cataglog is extensive. They have SCCM and Intune support. And thier SaaS offering can already stand on it's own two feet. Not to mention several leading Intune MVP's have been added to their bench (looking at you Rudy Ooms), and their onboarding setup was a great experience.

**What do you dislike about Patch My PC?**

The only downside I can think of is the lack of MacOS application packaging support for Intune. But this is already been selected as something they want to work on and develop. I can't wait to see what they do in that area!

**What problems is Patch My PC solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We barely did patch management in our all cloud Intune environment. Users have adopted the use of Company Portal and our application catalog has become extensive. Now that we have PMPC we're seeing a drastic reduction of vulnerabilites as reported by Microsoft Defender for Endpoint.

Easy to use and has saved us so much time!

**What do you dislike about Patch My PC?**

Initial learning curve and anxiety to use the tool right away was high.  After the first deployment we were extremely satisfied!

**What problems is Patch My PC solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are using the application to push application updates to windows devices via Intune.  This is beneficial to us because we no longer need to track down each update and we are able to push them remotely in a controlled manner.

Patch My PC makes it very easy to deploy standard packages via Intune and have them update automatically. This saves us time that we can spend on other tasks.
Custumer support is great and easy to setup.

**What do you dislike about Patch My PC?**

It would be great if you could also see which devices have certain software installed directly from the Patch My PC portal. Currently, I can see how often it has been installed, but I have to go to Intune to see on which devices

**What problems is Patch My PC solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Patch My PC provides us with insights into unmanaged applications, allowing us to quickly create update packages so we don’t have to worry about updates afterward. Deploying new standard apps is also super easy

**What do you like best about Patch My PC?**

As the title states, this platform just works, the onboarding was done in less than an hour, our technician answered all of our questions and if they didn't they found out who did on the same call. The software is able to patch nearly 100% of all of our deployed apps, the patches themselves are extremely easy to use and implement. We haven't had to reach out to support since we deployed 3 months ago so that is a huge testament to the platform.

**What do you dislike about Patch My PC?**

I can't say that I dislike much, the local install LOOKS quite old but it works. The cloud interface is much sleeker and user friendly.

**What problems is Patch My PC solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We had hundreds of applications we were simply relying on "Auto Updating" upon a vulnerability scan we realized this wasn't going to work. We now have substationaily less vulnerabilities thanks to patch my PC.

Patch My PC makes Application publishing Intune exactly what you want it to be. Thier catalog makes getting the applications you want installed and/or updated as easy a few button clicks. On top of that it maintains updates for your going forward. It's the easy button that you always dreamed of. But it gets even better when you want to bring your own installers, they once again make it fast and painless. Beyond that, if you need to get into the customizing even the most small of details then it is all at your finger tips with the many options availble. 

Implementation guides for the intial configuration are very detailed. Their sales and customer service are super knowledgable and responsive. Great product and experience all around.

**What do you dislike about Patch My PC?**

Currently still using a hybrid of their on prem publisher and the cloud offering. I know they are working towards making the cloud offering have parity. I am willing to wait, the on prem publisher is fine for now.

It is the missing application catalog that Intune never had.
Allows our users to have a great self service portal with all the applications they need.
It is allow us to be hands off on patching.

**What do you like best about Patch My PC?**

We are already using the Patch-My-PC software for a while. I think about 4 ½ years. We are using the product in combination with our SCCM infrastructure.
In the first month we only use this for easy updates e.g. updating non-Microsoft web browsers. But during the years we find out that the product has a lot to offer.

As proof of this some examples of how we apply this:
•	Patch-My-PC creates applications in SCCM for us. No search for silent installation switches or packaging needed, this will be done for you by the product.
Even if you want to handle all those thing yourselves, you can find the installation switches in the product. You do not have to search for them.
If you use PSAppdeployment Toolkit it is also nice to know that Patch-My-PC support will also help you with this in case you have an issue. We also could confirm that the support of Patch-My-PC is super-fast and to the point. Being a system and 3th line support engineer a really appreciate this kind of support!
•	Patch-My-PC create automatically new versions of applications and updates. There is a scheduling service available which will download the latest versions of the product. This can be setup e.g. every week or every patching Tuesday. We use this on weekly basis especially to gather recent vulnerability updates. This runs fully automated in combination with an ADR rule in SCCM and provides all our devices with a weekly update of several products. You will receive a report from what has been updated and what has failed so you could take the propre actions if needed.
•	Patch-My-PC can create an in-place upgrade. We use this also to update default applications used in our task sequences.  By using Patch-My-PC our task sequences contains automatically the latest version of certain applications and newly staged devices do not need to update first to the latest version.
•	We have some special setup of certain application:
When there is a new version of Google Chrome, we need to have also the latest Chromedriver for our developers. We succeeded to automate this with Patch-My-PC in combination with a scheduled download script. So when a new update of Google Chrome is downloaded, Patch-my-PC add the Chromedriver (from our fileshare) to this update. This update is distributed like any other Windows update but will also install the Chromedriver to corporate devices.
We recently added the Git application in Patch-my-PC. We use the standard installation and added a PSAppdeployment Toolkit script which will configure user based settings in Git.
So, when the SCCM install or uninstall is triggered on a device, Patch-My-PC will also execute a extra PSAppdeployment script after install and uninstall. This makes it possible for us to configure the software automatically nevertheless we are using the standard package delivered by Patch-My-PC. 
•	When a certain CVE is required and the software in not yet distributed via Patch-My-PC. We can quickly provide this update via Patch-My-PC (if available and supported), SCCM and the Windows Update mechanism. In the ideal scenario, testing could start in about 30 minutes. 

Nice to know:
•	We are using SCCM but almost all feature could be used for Intune too. We have no experience with this, but if we should think about applying applications via Intune we certainly would evaluate Patch-My-PC for this.
•	You need to explorer the different settings in the product regularly because new features are frequently added. The Patch-My-PC software is automatically updated over the Internet. 
A welcome new feature for us was e.g. the possibility to update one application via the Publishing service instead of all configured applications.
•	There are some short webinars about new feature or best practices.  It is nice to know that you can always watch these at any time. Of course if you have some questions it is better to follow them at the webinar time.

As a conclusion we can say that we are very satisfied with the Patch-My-PC software. 
It gives added value and helps us to provide applications and patches to our approximately 1800 devices in an easy, efficient and quick way.

**What do you dislike about Patch My PC?**

I do not have really annoying issues with Patch-My-PC. 
Maybe the interface is some kind of old, simple looking. but it does what it needs to do.

Of course there could be made improvements by adding some nice-to-have features:
•	Integration of PSAppdeployment framework. Write and edit the PowerShell code in the Patch-My-PC interface.
•	There can only be one publishing schedule setup for all the applications. Maybe a selective schedule for some applications could be nice. E.g. web browsers updates weekly other updates on patching Tuesday.
•	Add the posibillity to add custom requirements e.g. we use on every application that the user must be primary user. This cannot be done from within the Patch-My-PC interface

**What problems is Patch My PC solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It gives added value and helps us to provide applications and patches to our approximately 1800 devices in an easy, efficient and quick way.

Since we are using the SaaS offering and it is very new there are a few things that are missing, mostly update rings. But that is already something they have in private preview, so once that goes live we'll be even more pleased.

The onboarding of Patch My PC was very good indeed.  They held our hand during the installation and implementation and helped us make sure it was set up correctly.  Further calls were arranged as and when needed.  We signed up to the subscription which included the reporting dashboard which has been very helpful to us in giving us visibility about our PC and server estates.  Patch My PC has become a tool which our infrastructure team now use on a weekly if not daily basis.  It also does a very good job of keeping our 3rd party apps up-to-date of course.

**What do you dislike about Patch My PC?**

I think Patch My PC is an excellent product, and very cost effective for what it does.  So far I have not found anything significiant which contradicts that view.

**What problems is Patch My PC solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is doing a much better job than the previous product we used keeping our 3rd party apps up-to-date.  The reporting dashboard in Patch My PC has also been very helpful in giving us visibility about things like bitlocker not being enabled on some workstations, we can also check which PCs are assigned to each user.  I think over time it's likely we will find more use cases for using the data which is provided on the dashboard.  The customer service provided is also excellent.

PatchMyPC was a very easy product to set up at our institution.

The interface is easy to understand, and there are plenty of tutorials and explanations on the company's website to help you get everything up and running smoothly. The teams are also available if you need them.

This is a huge time-saver, given the numerous updates that sometimes come out several times a week for some software, so you don't have to update packages by hand all the time. 

Thanks to PatchMyPC's automation, you don't have to worry about updates or searching constantly for them.

An automated system like PatchMyPC also lets you quickly patch a large number of software packages, without having to worry about follow-up. 

This keeps your installed fleet as clean as possible, and eliminates a large number of security vulnerabilities!

The software allows you to either update existing software (via wsus), create deployment packages, or do both, which is ideal as some users may be local administrators of their machines and therefore install software not deployed by the organization, so it's possible to only deploy updates via wsus.

**What do you dislike about Patch My PC?**

Their customer service and follow through as been a real differentiator.  I read on the website about how they are with you all the way and it is true.  From getting our trial made into a standing account to helping us onboard successfully, they have been so helpful and available.  It sounds silly but having their phone number and email address on their website really made the difference for me.  A knowledgeable person answered the phone and we got things going in minutes!

Having a separate account management console from the main app caused us some confusion and delay but it was easily worked out once I got hold of our account manager by giving them a quick call.

TLDR: Price and performance is hard to beat. Makes life simple.
Patch My PC has saved me so much time when it comes to keeping apps up to date. I had looked at Microsoft's Intune Enterprise App Management package and it's functionality and price fell well short of Patch My PC. I no longer have to spend time creating update packages every time there's a new CVE for software we have. The setup was fast and easy (we use the Intune version). The demo call was very helpful, and on top of it all you get a free trial. The use of webhooks to report the new app updates added daily is definitely handy, and saved having to go into the publisher too often. If you don't have a current method to keeping third party apps up to date or you want a nice catalog of apps to easily publish to a portal, I'd definitely recommend giving Patch My PC a try.

**What do you dislike about Patch My PC?**

My only real complaint about Patch My PC so far is the Intune version doesn't quite have as many features as the Config Manager version of the software. The Premium tier has a nice dashboard with advanced reporting and vulnerability analytics, but that isn't available for Intune yet (but is on the roadmap).

**What problems is Patch My PC solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Keeping up with third party app updates is a pain, and felt like a losing battle. I'd spend 30 minutes - 1 hour whenever a new major app vulnerability came out to create an upgrade script and test it, and then I'd have to communicate changes out. With Patch My PC it saves me a ton of time, and I can stay ahead so instead of asking "What version of _______  are we on?" I know we're on the latest version. Best of all since rolling it out no users have noticed any changes. Works quietly and is a huge time saver.

The Patch My PC team are responsive, informative and want you to get the most out of their product from the get-go.  They help you set things up and run a full hour-long training session to get you and your staff up to speed (for free), and then using their product to patch and deploy your apps is a simple matter of occasional maintenance. The product integrated with our Intune setup with ease, and we tent do use this every day as our default deployment method for new apps (where they exist in the library). Their support team are responsive and always have time to answer your questions or even do a quick one-to-one call to check out your personalised integration and troubleshoot any issues (which tend to be rare).

**What do you dislike about Patch My PC?**

There aren't many downsides to Patch My PC. The interface is a little dated (but this will be resolved with their fully cloud-based solution which is launching shortly) The software library is vast but doesn't cover everything, and there seem to be a few core apps missing that will hopefully be added over time.

**What problems is Patch My PC solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Patch My PC helps us deploy new apps and patch existing applications in our environment, via Intune. It helps us provision software quickly to our labs and staff devices, and enables us to operate at a higher level of cyber security. it enables quick, proactive patching of various software-based security holes.

Patch My PC is simple to setup and use. It's far easier than creating collections of our non-Microsoft apps and figuring out how to target them and then tracking the deployment. I also love never having to keep track of when updates are released - PMPC does that for me!

The only (minor) negative is certain parts of the UI being a little clunky. Scrolling through the long list of products they support is a little cumbersome. There is a search feature however, which can reduce the need to scroll.

I no longer have to keep track of when non-Microsoft software updates are released. Patch My PC tracks that for me and automatically deploys the updates as needed!

We are a very small IT Team managing over 150 sites and 2500+ users.  PatchMyPC allows us to manage our security patching, Threat analysis, and application deployment from a single screen.  We work in the charity healthcare sector, and IT spend can be seen as a low priority.  The cost point and benefits of PatchMyPC & Advanced Insights was an easy sell to our director of services.

**What do you dislike about Patch My PC?**

No real downsides so far, but we are only kicking into the third-party app deployment phase.  The Advanced Insights has been easy to incorporate and use.

**What problems is Patch My PC solving and how is that benefiting you?**

All in one system, with easy Single Pane Mgmt.  When working in a small team with a large and complex IT environment, it is important to have systems that allow you to manage diverse systems.  Patch My PC has allowed us to spread the workload across multiple staff, without worrying about completeness of work.

This product saves us so much time and allows us to patch and deploy applications that we'd normally rely on help desk to download and install. Plus, being able to use a single subscription for multiple environments makes it easy to stand up in a distributed organization

I would love to extend these capabilites to my MacOS fleet as well, but this is a Windows only offering.

Since we first reached out to Patch my PC they've been very accomendating with their time from the initial demo to extending the trial for us. Now we've bought the software we've found their support to be once again very helpful and the tool itself is saving us countless hours of work.

Ensuring that hundreds of applications are conitnually updated on our production network is re-assuring.

Even though there are lots of help articles we did struggle to understand how it done certain things. Mostly, the knowledge was at a higher level and sometimes you want to know in-depth workings.

The Patch My PC Cloud for Intune is straightforward and setup friendly. I have to say that their customer support team is the best ever I've met in my career. They are knowledgable, responsive, efficient, providing detailed information. I always learn something from them about the product.

To understand the onprem publisher tool takes some time.
It doesn't support MacOS devices.

We were using PSADT tool for deployment of applications in Intune. The script needs to be customized every time when we deploying and there is no central place to manage the deployment. We also have problem of application updates. The product resolves the app deployment problem and time-comsuing manual updates. It enhanced the management experience, and saved times.

PMP integrated seamsly into our SCCM environment allowing us to quickly start delivering prepackaged updates to our environment right away. From day one our account and support team were flexable and easy to work with during our enterprise appliction onboarding process. The tool is used by our US team and India team to deploy updates around the clock!  PMP filled a specific need and excels at it.  I highly recommend this tool to others.

Not much to dislike, consider combining the three purchasing levels into only two? Combine the SCCM and Intune option into one.
