The hardware is garbage and unreliable. Break downs constantly occurring. Always issues with the system. I've been a customer for 2.5 years and have already experienced two massive hardware failures that required more than half my fleet to require new hardware. This was a massive interruption to our organization operationally, financially and has left us exposed at times when the system is not functional. Upper management only responds when threatened. We chose Netradyne for a lot of reasons. The camera quality, the features, the self coaching it offers our drivers, and their scoring system. Time to time we will experience a disconnect of a camera or a units module and we do not know it until we are researching driver scores or an incident. I strongly dislike that Netradyne does not include telematics data—such as speed, location, and event markers—with downloaded video footage. This data is clearly visible in the original playback, so it should be included in the download at no extra cost. Expecting companies to pay for API access and build their own system just to reattach data we already have is unnecessary and time-consuming. That information is critical not only for internal safety reviews and coaching, but also for documentation in legal situations, including court.
