it's written on stone. When the device throws you into DRIVE even for a couple secs, you can't do anything about it, even though it is not your fault and you did not move an inch. You can't "move" the drive event to a co-driver or a yard man. Also the display is too small (just 3.5 inch screen) in the era of more robust and larger screens that are 8 inches. Then it has the worst screen resolution of all ELDs out there. It is grey-scale display, which nobody uses any more. Really? It lacks night mode too. No audible alerts when you approach a violation. Does not give you the ability to view or print out uncertified logs. You have to manually check each days logs to know who did not certify his logs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I trialed 12 different ELD/Fleet Management/Tax/GPS all-in-one solutions. After 6 months of trials EROAD was by far the best product on the market. It takes me 5-10 minutes to train a driver how to use the ELD function. It is extremely simple. It is hard-wired to the ECM so you do not have to worry about broken, uncharged, or lost tablets/phones. The tax/IFTA/fuel reporting is extremely efficient. GPS tracking is better than any other service we have used. It takes 2 clicks to see a vehicles trail for the entire day. There are many other features that come along with EROADs solution. Their customer representatives and support teams are outstanding and always address every issue as quickly as possible. EROAD is very involved in the industry. 1. The Depot

a. Activity Vehicles Tab

i. Vehicles: provides an excellent map display of the vehicle groups with several map options of map, satellite, terrain, traffic/road condition and address search. Ignition on or off.

ii. Truck info box: the zoom in goes down close to the immediate area of the vehicle. Today’s journey shows the route of the vehicle from start to end or present location with stops. Send a message to the vehicle. Link the location to google maps.

iii. Truck details: Vehicle snap shot information with links to edit vehicle details and vehicle groups. Displays the vehicle Ehubo communication status.

iv. Truck activity: shows idle, turning engine off driver log in and log out.

v. Messages: View messages, send a new message or broadcast a message to all vehicles

vi. Daily Activity: shows vehicle and driver time line alongside the vehicle map locations with numerous export and print functions.

vii. Event log is great for detailed vehicle status three to four times a minute for location , turning, speed, gps and cell quality. This is great for providing data for motorist complaints or disputes.

b. Activity Drivers Tab

i. Duty status: time driving, on duty, off duty with the date and time. 14 hour column, drive column and 70 hour column for driver log status.

iii. Link to view driver logs.

We made the switch to ERoad about a year ago because our previous system had too many connectivity issues. We weren't able to see trucks in real time, and did not have a good sense of where or how our fleet was operating. With Eroad we are able to see our fleet in real time, and receive valuable safety and utilization information back. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Currently we would love if Eroad was able to incorporate a camera systems. We do see that other companies are now offering this and it would be great to get this all in one system. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

ERoad is an easy system that saves our company time and money. The interface for the drivers is the most appealing. As well as the simplicity, my driver's think it is the best system out there. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

That the EROAD clicks on too quick so that the drivers cant even move out of the way when parked. It would be nicer if they clicked on from a driver going 5mph not 1mph Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
