  ### 1. Reliable Print Management Backbone for Enterprises

**What do you like best about MyQ?**

I really appreciate how stable MyQ is. Once it's deployed and tuned, it just runs smoothly, handling heavy loads gracefully without causing us to get frantic calls at midnight. The admin console is another aspect I like a lot; it keeps everything—from queues to users and policies—in one place, making it easy to manage and generate genuinely useful reports for finance teams. The card-tap release feature for end-users feels seamless and reduces friction, while the mobile release option is a nice fallback in case someone forgets their card. Pull printing from any device on the network is another feature that removes daily annoyances. I also like that MyQ supports mixed fleets, handling different MFP brands without any issues. The rules engine is flexible enough to set policies without scripting, which significantly reduces paper and toner usage. User provisioning through Active Directory works flawlessly, and the job roaming experience is incredibly smooth. I also appreciate the strong alerts and proactive monitoring, keeping us informed about toner levels and device status before clients notice. Finally, the mobile and BYOD printing options are robust, allowing users to print from personal devices securely.

**What do you dislike about MyQ?**

Nothing major, but a few honest gripes: The admin dashboard interface feels dated compared to the modern SaaS tools we use day to day. Functionally it does everything you need, but the look and feel is showing its age - some of the navigation could be cleaner, and a lot of common tasks take more clicks than they should. A UI refresh would go a long way. Initial setup and configuration for large multi-branch deployments is also genuinely time-consuming and requires real technical expertise. If you're rolling it out across dozens of locations with different network setups, AD structures, and device mixes, it's not something a generalist can knock out in an afternoon. Once it's in place it's stable, but the on-ramp is steep, and better setup wizards or templated deployment profiles would help a lot. Reporting customization is the third one. The built-in reports cover the common cases well, but every now and then a client asks for a very specific format - say a particular cost center breakdown or a custom field grouping for compliance - and we end up exporting to Excel and reshaping it manually, or building workarounds. More flexibility in the report builder, including custom templates and scheduling, would save us a lot of back-and-forth.

MyQ solves unauthorized printing and confidentiality leaks with secure print release, addresses waste from uncollected print jobs, provides cost visibility by department, centralizes fleet monitoring, and offers pull printing for convenience across branches.

**What do you like best about MyQ?**

I like MyQ's multi-brand availability, as it allows us to use devices from different vendors in one configuration, which is great for us as a multi-brand provider. The support site is very friendly, making it easy to get help when needed. I appreciate the effective device monitoring, as it enables using one app for everything. Customization is also a strong point, especially for big customers, offering flexibility to meet specific needs. The licensing model is straightforward and simplifies making offers to customers. Additionally, I found the installation to be straightforward.

**What do you dislike about MyQ?**

Failover and load balancing functionality needs improvement for 24/7 system availability. The download section isn't easy to detect what package to download and could be better categorized.

MyQ provides access control, security, redundancy, and user flexibility. It supports multi-brand devices, offers a user-friendly support site, allows customization for big customers, and features an easy licensing model. Device monitoring is integrated into one app.

I like the smart features of MyQ and the ability to manage all the advanced and technical functionalities required by users. The Multibrand integration is fantastic, as it allows use on all multifunction brands available on the market. I greatly appreciate the advanced user management and reporting that allows keeping every business aspect under control. The support is reliable, the offer is more convenient and clear, and MyQ demonstrates in-depth knowledge. The initial setup was simple after obtaining the certification.

I like the fact that it’s software built on top of other software. It gives me the possibility to customize a lot of features for devices and users, which is very important for big clients where there’s a real need for this level of customization.

At the moment, I like all the functions of myQ. The only feature I wish were available is exploded mode.

**What problems is MyQ solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It’s easy to set up the devices, and there’s no need to install a large number of printers on the server. It’s also straightforward to create backups and restore them when needed. Managing things like creating user groups is simple as well.

I can't answer it right now, I need time to test it and long term use. There are differences between MyQ and other software's, but each o them has their own logic, so ... nothing to dislike at this moment

Quite a lot, Reports, Advanced Access Control, Migration, Deploy, Managed queues, Control over the device and again I need time to use it more

Installation was straightforward, and it was easy to use right out of the box. I also like having the option to use cloud services such as Google or OneDrive.

Reports could use some tweaking, and it would help if they included more data. Support for Konica Minolta devices would be most welcome.

The best part of Solution is ease of configuration and management. The panel customization is the great feature.

Solution seems to be stable and Robust . So nothing as such.

The problem is No centralised visibility of the printing devices, No control cover print cost, No confidentiality of the documents. MyQ helped to control the unwanted printing, centralized dashboard of all printing devices ensuring security of the documents.

Managing huge number of MFPs in a very large country like Egypt with thousands of users is very hard, with MyQ X this tasks became very easy to do, very slight technical knowledge will enable you to steer it

**What do you like best about MyQ?**

I do not even need to use it after initial setup - it just works without any need of troubleshooting or mainteinance. And on the other hand, if I need, reporting is easy to setup, overview of printers and jobs is great, user management is good. Integration and setup was done by our partner Xenon Forte, and still after many years if we need support they respond instantly.

**What do you dislike about MyQ?**

My only dislike is there is no support for scan to sFTP. In my company we need that, and I needed to reach out for aditional scanners.

**What problems is MyQ solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I used to have 20+ small printers, now we have 2 with follow me option. So centralisation was the benefit for me.

**What do you like best about MyQ?**

The manageability of the printers via MyQ is great! It allows the administrators to see in real time toner levels, meter clicks, status/issues, as well as active user sessions. In conjunctioin with RealVNC, managing printer servers has never been easier for me. Please note that I had previously been working with PaperCut.

The implementation was a smooth process for the amount of work we had ahead of us. The importing of users and groups was easy to manage and helped greatly with the integration of MyQ into our environment.

**What do you dislike about MyQ?**

MyQ being as new as it is and having the gumption to push out experimental features, there can be bugs. The patches come often should an issue arise and the patching process is simple. 

One feature I personally had an issue with was limiting the scope of imported groups. Our Azure import carried a large amount of groups that were redundant/unnecessary in the print server. I have heard this is being worked on and looked into being implemented in seperate patches.

**What problems is MyQ solving and how is that benefiting you?**

MyQ is working very well as a way to keep unauthenticated users form printing via IP or directly. If they cannot authenticate against the MyQ server, they will not be able to print and we will not be charged for it. This was a big issue in the past and MyQ was a much needed fix for that issue.

**What do you like best about MyQ?**

The Simplistity for the end user to, The interface is clean and streight forward, the customazation of funtionality. support is fantastic.

**What do you dislike about MyQ?**

The only complaint I have is the enablilty to encrypt scanned documents.

**What problems is MyQ solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have alot of mobile users in out agency and being able to print and scan from any of our locations is a huge benifit.  Also we recently implimented a new EMR and there was an issue with that EMR when it came to printing with our current print server and with out MyQ we were looking at a complete overhaul of our Print managment and server. but MyQ allow us to easly side step those issues while also allowing bringing other benifits along with it.

Simple installation, secure, almost no problems and this are solved quickly, full of functionalities, non stop development, customers where we used MyQ are all very satisfied.

Previous licensing was complicated, but this was solved with new version.

Simple to use, easy to install, almost maintenance free.

Licensing model. No more time consuming typing of licenses to the system. Expiration dates are now on same date. Lincensing server informs you about expiration coming.

MYQ gives a complete overview of my multi-vendor fleet. It helps me todo fleet management, toner monitoring of all my printers. We have seen significant reduction in print wastage and overall printing after MYQ implementation in our environment.

Integration with Active Directory and the company's email system provides a wealth of possibilities that are extensively utilized in my work environment.

One aspect that I would perhaps highlight as a downside is that reading the logs is quite difficult. Very often, the logs do not provide a clear indication of what the exact problem is or how it could be resolved.

Centralized management, email scanning, folder scanning, logging using ID cards that employees also use for room access, logging with PIN codes, the ability to print from any device in the building, centralized queue management, etc
