What do you like best about Mixmax?

The way it operates seamlessly with my email, providing features and value add that is quickly accessible and brought forward. In particular, I love the email tracking of receipt/read, and I use the templates to quickly create best practice email bodies. I haven't checked out the AI yet but Id imagine if they stay true to design it will be highly complementary. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Mixmax?

I've not experienced much downside - I suppose there are many other features Im not using and it would be great to have an interactive way to learn and apply them for even greater productivity (but thats mostly my fault). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Mixmax?

Mixmax was a colleague's recommendation and I like it so much for my work email that I purchased it for my personal email shortly thereafter.

The remind me feature is really great because you can pick any date and time for the app to remind you of the email. And, you can even put a note in the reminder so you don't get confused what you're supposed to do when you get the reminder. This is huge for me because in my role I do a lot of outreach and need to follow up with contacts, and this is a great reminder feature located within Gmail.

When I was out of work and reaching out to recruiters and hiring managers, I used Mixmax daily so I knew when they engaged with my emails. I was also recommending it to others who were looking for work as well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Mixmax?

I wish tracking link clicks was offered at the lower plan but I get it, they're a software company trying to get upgrades from customers. Recently, the lightning bolt in Gmail stopped showing and tracking the engagement of my emails but I reached out to their support team and they resolved the issue within a few days. They even responded after their help center hours stated so that was nice to see too.

I wish email opens were able to be tracked when sending to multiple people in the same email, too (for the lower plan). Recently (~May 2025), they dropped the number of monthly tracking from 100 to 20 on the free plan—huge bummer! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
