Over the past few years, the laws, rules, and regulations for businesses have been updating exponentially and continuously, to the point of being overwhelming. Mineral keeps me up to date with the changes that affect my business directly and also offers a directory for individual states, municipalities - anywhere that might be of interest. As an HR Professional, we're expected to know the employment laws and how they apply to us but we're not lawyers. We need resources like Mineral that not only offer documentation but also free webinars on specific topics.

As a new HR professional Mineral has helped me to sift through some of the legal-ease and jargon associated with the job. I have attended a few webinars as well and I like the content and the down to business, get it done approach. MY favorite feature thus far is ability to ask a question (open a case) and have an experience HR professional offer advice and/or counsel. Great stuff and I recommend it! Not that I dislike, but the only con would be that I may have to wait 24 hours for the response. I have never tried requesting urgent scenerios so have not looked into the huge turn around. I am new to Mineral and so far I have found it easy to navigate the website and the information is very useful. I also configured an employee handbook in about 15 minutes by inputting some basic information. This is an excellent feature of the service.
