One of the products I use often is, "talk to or send a message" to one of the experts. If you have an immediate concern on how to handle an employee situation, you do not have to spend a lot of time doing research on your own or have to be put on hold when calling a State or Federal Agency. Just submit your question to Mineral, and one of their experts will reply quickly. The second product that I rely on is not having to worry about new compliance issues that can occur with the State your business is located in. Just set-up your company in Mineral, and they make sure you are notified about any changes that are taking place. These are just two examples of what Mineral has to offer. **What do you dislike about Mitratech Mineral?** As for dislikes, I do not have any that are major. I have not had a chance to submit my question about notifications I receive on changes that need to be made on our Employee Handbook. I ALWAYS learn something new through Mineral. We are a multi-state employer, so I've tested out Mineral's Employee Handbook template ... it's awesome! I love their regulation updates and regular awareness topics sent to my Inbox. I have taken and assigned courses to employees for Disciplinary Purposes - every course is spot-on and well-presented. I have participated in Mineral Webinars - every speaker is knowledgeable and pleasant to listen to (no boring lectures). This is one of the best resources our HR team has available 24/7. I am very grateful to our Executive Leaders for blessing us with this resource! I am a member of and advocate for SHRM ... but Mineral is now my #1 go-to! Customer Support is easy to access and they are very responsive. There are many great tools available from Mineral that help me with my HR responsibilities. Two that I like the most are the laws & updates for multiple states, and their trainining courses. The training courses helped me bring us up to date on our harassment training for every employee, and I have managers assigning groups of courses for customer service and more each quarter. Integration and setup was a simple and easy process, I've contacted customer support once and they were prompt and helpful. This is a tool that I utilize quite frequently, and that I've come to depend on as a resource. I enjoy receiving their emails of Question of the Week along with their recommended webinars, of which I've attended quite a few already, learning and using them for my HR certificaiton credits. If not, an email to their support team is answered most times within an hour or two, but always within 24 hours and with a valid response, not a canned response. The handbook builder was a life-saver and made the process simple, easy and thorough. **What do you dislike about Mitratech Mineral?** The only downside I've discovered is the job description templates. They seem exceptionally verbose. The ability to talk to an HR expert is also helpful - although they do not provide legal advise, they still provide guidance to applicable laws/regulations. We use Mineral as a training platform, primarily, and have also used it extensively to update our internal forms. **What do you dislike about Mitratech Mineral?** The only downside is that I could not upload my Employee Handbook into Mineral and work from there to update it. **What problems is Mitratech Mineral solving and how is that benefiting you?** We've moved from a paperfull system of training to more electronic and interactive training, such as forklift certifications, sexual harassment, etc. Creating forms that are compliant with expectations from government agencies has been wonderful. ### 37. This allows us to have confidence that we are handling the situation appropriately and without bias. We have had unusual questions come up such as a request by an employee for an expensive chair to avoid back problems. We were able to receive guidance in this area. In addition, we are notified of changes to laws which allows us to know well ahead of time what changes we need to make to polices in order to stay compliant and allows us to look ahead. We were recently notified about an important change to state law in Nevada that will happen in the future regarding a state run retirement program for employees. We use other features on the platform as well such as training. ### 45. This is the only thing I can think of that may be able to be improved upon.
