"Review from a Legacy User"
What do you like best about Microsoft SQL Server?

The Microsoft database has matured very well in the last decade, from being a simple basic repository to being one of the most complete information storage engines, with development tools, business intelligence, data synchronization, reporting, among others that help in the day to day for the administration within a typical company

We have been pleased to work with Microsoft for many years. We have worked together in numerous workshops and have been eagerly adopting and testing new features in the preview phase. The technical support and guidance we get from the product team from Redmond has exceeded our expectations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The slow pace of development of new features, is much slower than its competition, although considering the product in the state that can be found the reason can be understood. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Microsoft SQL Server?

SQL Server is widely used, and offers many ways to import and export data. It's usually very stable and the industry standard. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Microsoft SQL Server?

I dislike SQL Server Management changes across different versions. Options change, features disappear (such as mapped network drives, now needing SQL Query to add back in for restore/backup) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
