Microsoft SQL is my first choice for my enterprise-level database needs. It's very fast, and scales well.

Though there are slight differences in syntax, working with SQL Server is really more or less the same as any other DBMS. With SSMS it is easy to create your database, tables, & indexes in SQL Server. You can easily schedule your jobs to run SSIS Projects. Sometimes it is hard to know how to configure to get the best performance. It does take some learning to get the best performance when you have a lot of jobs running on the server. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
