Everything about Keyfactor is awesome. Mainly the UI interface and how easy it is to work with, API calls were also intuitive for automating certificate management. Multiple authentication options were also available and were very easy to configure. The use of HSM is also a plus for added security. All backend communication is over HTTPS(TLS encrypted). The Cloud Gateway makes it very easy to sync users/certificate templates over to Keyfactor. Overall a very much needed solution for our company. Keyfactor was able to integrate with multiple certificate stores to support our business requirement as well. The ability to execute SSL scanning in the environment and retrieve critical information is also an asset. The support staff that helped implement the managed PKI is very knowledgeable and responsive. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Our company currently does not have any business requirement that is not met by Keyfactor at the moment. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I love how everything is streamlined into one central portal for managing everything. The reporting features are great, and this is a rock solid product. The dashboard features are awesome and allows us to see the high level numbers that management commonly visits. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There's really not much to dislike with this product. Cost might be a factor for smaller business. The support that we receive along with a proven product keeps us committed and allows us to monitor all aspects of the PKI Infrastructure. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
What we like best is having a workflow system makes management easier including the use of automation. We are hoping manual intervention will become a thing of the past and allow my team to run infrastructure as code. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
What we dislike is understanding the security segregation for users vs. features. It may cause issues where one group makes a change and will affect another group. There will be at a minimum 4 to 5 different business units using this system managing over a thousand servers and devices. Any accidental changes will have a major impact on many systems. What my team was hoping for as well was more integration for hardware devices like switches, computing gear, phones, etc. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I frequently reach out to Keyfactor to ask questions about upcoming technologies, security issues/vulnerabilities, and best practices. They are always helpful and timely, there is no question to big or to small. They have a wealth of knowledge in the digital identity space. They have an excellent support system, very knowledgeable and responsive in resolving issues. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
We have had to contact support for some issues, but they are responsive and professional. No dislikes with Keyfactor Command at this time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I like that we have a centralize certificates storage that we can manage and provide us secure certificate creation. Furthermore, the reporting (collections) and workflows to automate our process and make our IT Admin life easier as before we have to generate certificates and make sure we have to keep it somewhere safe. We have to remember to renew it since we don't have any alerting system or reporting tool. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The downsides with Key factor is that it doesn't auto mate the installing and deploying the new certificates created to different end-points. It currently only support a handful (such as F5, IIS, Key Vault) but we still have come up with workflow/automation on our end for other non-support end-points. The different features of Keyfactor Command. More specifically being able to generate a PFX certificate, and the orchestration of delivering a certificate to key stores directly using the IIS agent.
The support is amazing. They get back to you very quickly and resolve very fast. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
While they do provide some integration with public CA's, Go Daddy is not one of them. It would be great to be able to deploy public certs from GD.
Also it would be nice to have some integration with Service Now to get incidents for expiring certificates generated or even provision and request certificates using Service Now. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Our security team uses Keyfactor primarily to automate repetitive tasks like certificate requests, renewals, and revocations. Before Keyfactor, we were tracking certificates manually through spreadsheets, so this has been a huge upgrade to prevent any outages and downtime. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The UI/UX is good but it can be improved. The UI was updated late last year and the product team has told me there will be more updates coming soon. For the UX side, there are times where the product team could reduce the number of clicks and actions to complete a task. Nothing major, just want the use paths to be more clear. The greatest thing about Keyfactor is that I can easily see all my certificates in one place. Also the ability to auto renew certificates that is about to expired Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Keyfactor orchestrator only support a couple known Cert stores. I wish we could leverage more out of the orchestrator to automate renewal of out of box applications. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Discovery and automation features for SSL. In addition, the upgrade process has become easier with recent versions. I get very fast response when I reach out to our customer success manager, but often have slow response when going through normal support channels. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It's sometimes difficult to find troubleshooting documentation when I experience a problem. I also often wait for a day or two to get a response when I open a ticket. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Our ability to easily streamline the enrollment and management of PKI certificated across multiple areas of our enterprise. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
THe UI is not the most user intuitive, it does require us putting together very detailed how to guides. Users commonly have questions about how to complete parts of the enrollment or renewal functions based on the non-intuitive UI. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Keyfactor allows companies the easiest use of any CLM we've seen to date. Their thought leadership around automating refresh of certificates will be vitally important as we move toward automated security tooling. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Nothing so far. It's been incredibly impressive. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I like that the interface to generate and manage certificates is easy to navigate and is almost 100% point and click. Setup of the software is very straight forward and can be completed in under an hour (provided communication and ACL's allow this). I also like the feature in Key Factor that goes out into your network and scans for certificates and adds them to your database so you can be aware of all certificates in your environment in one central location. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The error logging in the application is not always cut and dry as to what actually failed and why. I'd also like to see the application have the ability to lock down the certificate search so that if a user searches certificates they only see the ones they're allowed to create rather than being able to see all of the certificates and potentially download them as well. Keyfactor Command is one of the best LCM tools that I have ever used. The interface (Management Portal) allows total oversight and control over managing PKI effectively and efficiently in an intricate environment. The professionalism and expertise of the support team is above and beyond. They were able to implement, configure, and integrate seamlessly into our security practice and CI/CD pipeline. Successful implementation of Keyfactor Command in a corporate space requires total buy-in from the leaders of the company. Cross coordination between InfoSec teams, IT/helpdesk team, Admininstrator's, Dev/Engineer's teams, IS A MUST! The better your team's communicate and work together, the better the integration goes. The company has made many changes to their UI and features and they listen to their customers and implement changes that their customers are asking for. The other reason is their support is fantastic and they really listen to what you want and work to help you Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
As they have grown they have changed their pricing model and I think it is still a good value, but the increase was a little extreme Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The company is great to work with, their product is changing based on customer feedback. Tech Support is also wonderful Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The price model that they switched to raised our price and it was a little high Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
