"Key Factor Command Certificate Management"

What do you like best about Keyfactor Command?

I like that the interface to generate and manage certificates is easy to navigate and is almost 100% point and click. Setup of the software is very straight forward and can be completed in under an hour (provided communication and ACL's allow this). I also like the feature in Key Factor that goes out into your network and scans for certificates and adds them to your database so you can be aware of all certificates in your environment in one central location. What do you dislike about Keyfactor Command?

The error logging in the application is not always cut and dry as to what actually failed and why. I'd also like to see the application have the ability to lock down the certificate search so that if a user searches certificates they only see the ones they're allowed to create rather than being able to see all of the certificates and potentially download them as well. What problems is Keyfactor Command solving and how is that benefiting you?

We were using another solution and we needed something to allow for self-service in order to cut down on the SLA as the team that handles PKI is extremely small and it was difficult to make the SLA's all the time.

We've been able to cut down on certificate requests by a good percentage by allowing users to create their own certificates, allowing the team to better handle the tickets that come in for some certificates as well as work on other projects. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

With your concern regarding error logging, it would depend if you’ve deployed Keyfactor Command on-prem or cloud-hosted. If you’ve deployed on-prem, please review our documentation for error logging. If you're cloud-hosted, please contact support for more details.

When it comes to locking down certificate searches, you can accomplish this depending on the roles and permissions you’ve set, as well as using the “My Certificates” collection. For best practices regarding permissions, please reach out to your customer success representative.

What do you like best about Keyfactor Command?

Keyfactor Command is one of the best LCM tools that I have ever used. The interface (Management Portal) allows total oversight and control over managing PKI effectively and efficiently in an intricate environment. The professionalism and expertise of the support team is above and beyond. They were able to implement, configure, and integrate seamlessly into our security practice and CI/CD pipeline. What do you dislike about Keyfactor Command?

Successful implementation of Keyfactor Command in a corporate space requires total buy-in from the leaders of the company. Cross coordination between InfoSec teams, IT/helpdesk team, Admininstrator's, Dev/Engineer's teams, IS A MUST! The better your team's communicate and work together, the better the integration goes. What do you like best about Keyfactor Command?

The company has made many changes to their UI and features and they listen to their customers and implement changes that their customers are asking for. What do you dislike about Keyfactor Command?
