What do you like best about Keyfactor Command?

Automation workflows and capabilities: standard Microsoft PKI services do not provide means to automate certificate deployment beyond auto-enrolment, which only works on domain-joined devices. Besides this critical point, Keyfactor solved another pressing issue we had which is the notification of expired certificates to solution owners. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Keyfactor Command solving and how is that benefiting you?

By using Keyfactor Command we do not rely any longer on infrastructure we had to manage in-house (several VMs, patching, management, and administration), and we can focus on running a PKI. We have a complete picture of all our certificates through scanning our infrastructure and importing existing certificates from the existing environment. It's an excellent tool for the automation of certificates! No reason to wait before using it. Make use of the awesome functionality of Keyfactor. It is the market leader. No competitor has the same set of capabilities that Keyfactor is offering yet. What problems is Keyfactor Command solving and how is that benefiting you?

The previous certificate management was totally managed manually. We switched to Keyfactor to leverage its automation, certificate discovery capabilities, reporting features and so much more. It saved literally thousands of man-hours and made our team more functional towards other tasks. We are able to enable timely renewal of certificates because of the expiry alerts from Keyfactor that can be configured to come in 90 days before expiry, 60 days before expiry, 45 days before expiry, 30 days before expiry, 20 days before expiry, 15 days before expiry, 7 days before expiry, 3 days before expiry, and finally one day before expiry. This really helps avoid certificate expirations.

The other thing Keyfactor helps a lot is in reporting, there are so many parameters in the reports. The collections feature enables us to make different sets of certificates based on an elaborate set of filters like Issuer, Issued CN, Date, etc. Certificate collections let you stay on top of your certificate game.

The Keyfactor dashboard gives you a chart with information like the number of certificates nearing expiration in various timeframes. the number of certificates that were rejected, etc. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Keyfactor Command?

I love how everything is streamlined into one central portal for managing everything. The reporting features are great, and this is a rock solid product. What do you like best about Keyfactor Command?

The service is a reflection of Keyfactor's understanding of its customers' business challenges. We've used Keyfactor for years with a high degree of satisfaction and return to them regularly for their expertise, as the knowledge they possess is not a strategic advantage for us to know directly. The solution's highly-automated, which is critical for my team to be able to focus on other value-added activities. Microsoft ADCS needs an effective certificate management system on top of it and Keyfactor's delivered an effective solution Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Keyfactor Command?

No downsides to the service itself. Would like to sign a shorter-term contract, but Keyfactor has a minimum contract length we have to meet. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Please see prior response with respect to how the solution meets our needs. The core benefit is not having to build the internal competencies around the management of PKI on my team - we've selectively outsourced that to Keyfactor. What do you like best about Keyfactor Command?

Everything about Keyfactor is awesome. Mainly the UI interface and how easy it is to work with, API calls were also intuitive for automating certificate management. Multiple authentication options were also available and were very easy to configure. The use of HSM is also a plus for added security. All backend communication is over HTTPS(TLS encrypted). The Cloud Gateway makes it very easy to sync users/certificate templates over to Keyfactor. Overall a very much needed solution for our company. Keyfactor was able to integrate with multiple certificate stores to support our business requirement as well. The ability to execute SSL scanning in the environment and retrieve critical information is also an asset. The support staff that helped implement the managed PKI is very knowledgeable and responsive. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Keyfactor Command?

Keyfactor helped our company with centralized certificate management and lifecycle. Helps with auditing, tracking, and maintenance of the certificates. Keyfactor also integrates with Digicert CA which is a plus. Previous certificate management solution at our company was manual and cumbersome. What do you like best about Keyfactor Command?

What we like best is having a workflow system makes management easier including the use of automation. We are hoping manual intervention will become a thing of the past and allow my team to run infrastructure as code. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Keyfactor Command?

What we dislike is understanding the security segregation for users vs. features. It may cause issues where one group makes a change and will affect another group. There will be at a minimum 4 to 5 different business units using this system managing over a thousand servers and devices. Any accidental changes will have a major impact on many systems. What my team was hoping for as well was more integration for hardware devices like switches, computing gear, phones, etc. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
