What I dislike most about Inriver is how complex custom mappings in Syndication can be. For many business users, this functionality is hard to understand and even harder to manage. Unless a custom function is developed, mappings are typically limited to the existing functions provided by Inriver or to simple 1:1 attribute mappings.

A major improvement—and a real game changer for content transformation and flexibility—would be integrating the Expression Engine directly into Syndication mappings. It would also be very helpful to enrich specific cells within a syndication template directly in Inriver, without having to store that content on the underlying attribute itself.
