The main challenge we’ve encountered with inRiver is the syndication of data to major e-commerce partners such as Amazon, Wayfair, and other large retailers. While the platform excels at organizing and customizing product data internally, the process of pushing that data out to external channels can feel limited or cumbersome. Additional built-in tools or smoother integrations for large-scale syndication would make the platform even stronger and better aligned with the needs of modern e-commerce workflows. I like how accessible our data feels. The query editor makes searching for very specific data points fast, and simplifies generating relevant reports. The amount of flexibility the tool offers gives teams free reign to configure to their heart's desire which sometimes means we push the system to do things it's not meant to support. These would be more so suggestions rather than dislikes. I would love to have more automated syndication options, such as monthly or biweekly, rather than only weekly. I also wished that the syndication format and template files were easier to adjust, as this would make it easier to map rather than having to remap everything.
