  ### 1. Gusto Makes Workflows Foolproof with Easy Help and Strong Security

**What do you like best about Gusto?**

What I like most about Gusto is how easily I can find help when I get stuck. It feels like they’ve really thought through how to make the different workflows as foolproof as possible. Our employees have also had very few issues figuring out how to use it, which is a huge plus. I also appreciate how security-conscious Gusto is, including ensuring I-9s are completed properly.

**What do you dislike about Gusto?**

The least helpful thing about Gusto is that, at times, there seems to be a breakdown in communication regarding the company’s unemployment liability status in certain states. I have uploaded letters from the state confirming that we are not liable, but Gusto still wants me to reconnect to the VEC (for example). The warnings telling me this is an issue every time I log on are becoming tiresome.

**What problems is Gusto solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Gusto tracks payroll for me across several employees, handles the state filings, and prepares the W-2s and 1099s. When I receive state tax updates in the mail, all I have to do is take a photo of the letter and upload it into Gusto, and it takes care of the rest for me. 

Gusto also serves as a platform for other critical, state-mandated employee responsibilities, such as the Safety Posters program, workers’ compensation, and sexual harassment training. On top of that, Gusto handles the billing for our Google Workspace account, which effectively bundles two bills into one and feels like a real benefit.

To be honest, the ease of it. I'm not only an employee but an HR administrator as well, and to have all the function in one place has been great. Especially reminders about laws when we hire employees in other states as I may not be as versed to those employment laws as I am to the ones here in FL the state I work in

**What do you dislike about Gusto?**

The login process. Maybe there is a glitch on our end, but once we put in the username and password and hit click to sign in, it alwasy glitches and reroutes again and makes you do it again even if the password was correct

**What do you like best about Gusto?**

Gusto has truly transformed our business operations. The automated payroll feature is a standout, saving us valuable time and providing total peace of mind that our team is always paid punctually. Additionally, the seamless integration with QuickBooks makes accounting and reconciliation completely effortless. Handling reimbursements has also become incredibly straightforward, eliminating chaotic spreadsheets and endless email chains. Ultimately, Gusto has streamlined our back office, making it vastly more efficient and stress-free.

**What do you dislike about Gusto?**

While my overall experience with customer service has been positive, the wait times can occasionally be quite long. Additionally, onboarding a new employee in a state where we aren't currently registered is a cumbersome process. If Gusto could streamline the setup with local tax authorities to make multi-state onboarding easier, it would drastically improve the user experience.

**What problems is Gusto solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Gusto makes onboarding a breeze.  My favorite feature is the auto payroll.  This saves us time every week with both the processing and reconciling via the Quickbooks integration.

**What do you like best about Gusto?**

Gusto is clear, concise and easy to see and understand how your paycheck is being processed and generated.  You are offered many additional features like a cash account and a savings feature that I really like.  I can view, download, send all my documentation, tax information, paycheck stubs and payroll history from one place. I also like that I can split my paycheck into multiple accounts or make reoccurring payments from Gusto reducing my need to remember to pay bills on time. This is a huge convenience for me.  Their support staff and helpful and professional.  Overall, I highly recommend it.  Gusto makes payroll and banking a breeze!

**What do you dislike about Gusto?**

Tax filing feature would be nice.  Maybe a paycheck prediction feature. I really like the scroll down tab is to see my benefit options too.

Splitting my paycheck use to be a hassle, now it is simple.

The platform is very easy to use. Forms have built-in signatures, documents are easy to retrieve, and cross-collaboration between employer/employee is very intuitive.

**What do you dislike about Gusto?**

What I would like to see in the future is more of a clear roadmap of an employer's onboarding process. I did find it confusing initially to see that I have benefits, but benefits sign up was at a much later time.

**What problems is Gusto solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It streamlined the document completion and other onboarding requirements. In In comparison, Oracle had 20+ modules where each part of the onboarding or HR-related things are stored. Meanwhile, Gusto streamlines all of that.

**What do you like best about Gusto?**

Gusto is super easy to use, makes finding any documents simple and has a lot of enjoyable features.  I used it to clock in to a specific job and it was always accurate and easy, two things that make a big difference in a platform that is used every day.

**What do you dislike about Gusto?**

In complete honesty, I don't see downsides to Gusto. I always felt supported when it came to asking questions and receiving answers, I have always been able to easily find the info I need. I've used Gusto at 3 separate companies and it's been a pleasure each time. Logging in and finding info for those different accounts was also easy, something that I really appreciate.

**What problems is Gusto solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Gusto is currently helping me find my tax documents. Again, this is a super easy process. Logging in and navigating to where you want to go seems like something all companies and online systems should do with ease, but surprisingly, not all are the same. Gusto stands out in that way to me.

**What do you like best about Gusto?**

I like using Gusto for payroll because it makes it easier than calculating all the deductions myself. I really appreciate the ability to chat with an actual person to get an answer, which is super helpful. Additionally, the ease of use is nice. Its pretty simple UI design makes it intuitive.

**What do you dislike about Gusto?**

I wish Gusto had more features, especially with journal entry changes in accounting software, like using manual checks in different accounts than direct deposits. I find the process of handling employee leave cumbersome as I'd prefer an option to mark an employee as inactive instead of skipping them on each payroll. The benefits and deductions setup feels backwards because I have to add the first one through the deductions tab and then can manage everything from the employee page afterward. It would be simpler if everything could start from the same spot.

Gusto makes payroll easier by calculating deductions for me. I like that I can chat with a real person for answers. Its simple UI is intuitive and easy to use.

**What do you like best about Gusto?**

I use Gusto for my company, and it's been really easy to use so far to help pay myself and potential contractors. Gusto provides a really smooth onboarding process and feels intuitive, clean, and simple, making it easy for me to pay myself and receive money. I've been enjoying that Gusto is on top of some of the requirements needed as a corporation, like workers' compensation and setting up a 401(k). It helps me plan things out that I didn't realize I needed, giving me a head start on those things. I like that it covers some of the essential bases for starting my company.

**What do you dislike about Gusto?**

It was difficult for me to set up my account as someone who pays when I already had an account as a someone who just receives money. I was able to figure it out, but it was a little clunky.

**What problems is Gusto solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I find Gusto provides a streamlined way to pay myself and receive money as a contractor. It's intuitive, with a smooth onboarding process that aids in covering necessary corporate requirements.

Gusto is easy to use for processing, tracking, and keeping records for the team. The website is user-friendly and straightforward for all users.

The time clock function has been a challenge. Sadly, team members are experiencing a lot of lost clock-ins and clock-outs with the current system, and it’s eating up time at a higher level to track down and fix. I’m not sure whether it’s an app timeout issue or something else, but it’s creating extra work.

Gusto removes the need for us to understand tax rules across multiple states. It lets the company rely on Gusto to handle that work, which saves us money. On top of that, it keeps all of our information in one place.

**What do you like best about Gusto?**

I find Gusto easy to work with, which allows our firm to avoid costly payroll and HR services. The system simplifies onboarding new employees to our firm and makes running payroll super simple. I love the user interface because it's easy to navigate from both a leadership and payroll standpoint, as well as for employees. One of my favorite parts is the Gusto App, which makes clocking in and out every day smooth and user friendly, especially since our team is partially remote. We've had no issues reported by employees accessing or navigating their dashboard. I especially like that Gusto allows vacation time to be accrued and displayed, and employees can request time off with just a click. The initial setup of Gusto was super simple and straightforward, which I appreciated.

**What do you dislike about Gusto?**

It would be helpful for a prompt to let the person doing payroll know if a person that typically has 40 hours a week like clockwork, if they are missing hours so payroll can have one more layer of checks and balances before running payroll. It's not a critical item, only a wish list item.

**What problems is Gusto solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Gusto to simplify payroll and employee onboarding, avoid costly HR services, and enjoy its easy user interface. The Gusto App lets our remote team clock in and out smoothly, manage vacation accruals, and request time off easily.

**What do you like best about Gusto?**

When I first set my gusto account up, I jointed through my email it was an easy sign up. Gusto has allowed me to clock in and clock out easily, it tracks my location to demonstrate I am on site when I begin to clock in. Not only that but I enjoy having the track my pay feature and paycheck estimate feature. It allows me to better budget for the month. It is extremely reliable when clocking in and out as it puts my exact location, and the paycheck estimate is always accurate.

**What do you dislike about Gusto?**

One thing I dislike about Gusto is how for integrations we have to sign up for a gusto spending account.

**What problems is Gusto solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Gusto allows me to better budget for my week, through its pay check estimate. It facilitated my life when I was filing taxes, I was able to find all my paystubs and forms in one place.

**What do you like best about Gusto?**

I use Gusto for payroll services, and it has made the whole process very simple compared to using a CPA, which was tricky. Gusto takes care of all the small details, the filing, paperwork, and even tricky things like withholdings and taxes. It makes sure everything is done accurately and on time, thanks to its precise math and timely email reminders. The automatic features mean I don't have to worry about the logistics or accuracy. The initial setup was super easy with no issues.

**What do you dislike about Gusto?**

For payroll garnishments, it would be really helpful if Gusto would automatically deduct payroll garnishments for creditors and if we could do creditor garnishments through Gusto. Also would be helpful if it could help organize two garnishments at once and track the timing on both of them. I don't like manually doing that.

**What problems is Gusto solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Gusto simplifies payroll, handles withholdings, taxes, and garnishments efficiently. It automates filing and paperwork, and ensures accurate, timely execution, unlike my previous CPA service. I appreciate the peace of mind with email reminders and no manual follow-ups.

The ability to go into a submitted payroll and make changes now without having to cancel the entire payroll and redo it is definitely a game changer!

**What do you dislike about Gusto?**

We use classes in QBO. I would like the ability to set a class code for the journal entries that Gusto makes in QBO so I don't have to go into every line and add the class. 

**What problems is Gusto solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Payroll is easy to do and easy to submit. I spend much less time doing payroll than I used to with QB Online. Onboarding is a breeze because Gusto walks you through setting up new employees and ensures you are complying with state and federal laws for hiring.

I’ve been using Gusto through my company for payroll, and honestly it’s been one of the easiest work platforms I’ve used. Everything is super straightforward. From checking pay stubs and tax documents to managing personal info and benefits. The app is especially convenient because I can quickly access everything I need without digging through emails or paperwork.

**What do you dislike about Gusto?**

It initially was messed up and had to be redone a few times to get it to work correctly.

**What problems is Gusto solving and how is that benefiting you?**

What I appreciate most is how user friendly it feels. The layout is clean, simple, and easy to navigate, even if you’re not super tech savvy. Payday is smooth, direct deposit is reliable, and having everything in one place makes managing work related finances a lot less stressful.

**What do you like best about Gusto?**

Gusto is user-friendly for both employers and employees. Account setup feels seamless and straightforward. From an employer standpoint, the platform is easy to navigate and use; however, more robust reporting structures would be helpful. For example, having suggested reporting templates, rather than relying on a self-help format, would make it easier to find what you need. An AI-assisted tool would also be a big improvement compared to reading through pages and pages of “self help,” especially if you’re a new user versus someone who’s already familiar with the platform. That said, coming from a SAGE and Pastel background, I would highly recommend Gusto, particularly for new, starting companies. This is a definite winner.

**What do you dislike about Gusto?**

For more advanced payroll users, the functionality feels quite basic. I’d strongly recommend offering tutorials instead of relying mainly on the FAQ pages, as that would make it easier to learn and keep up. Alternatively, adding an AI tool could also help.

**What problems is Gusto solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The employee account setup, where staff enter and upload their own details (banking, etc.), reduces the employer’s risk of entering incorrect data. It’s a huge time-saver and also lowers the chance of mistakes in the account details submitted.

**What do you like best about Gusto?**

Gusto has made payroll and onboarding SO MUCH EASIER. When I first set up my startup, I used QBO for payroll. It was a nightmare, and got almost everything wrong. Gusto was recommended to me by an HR team I work with, and wow, it has made my life so much easier.

**What do you dislike about Gusto?**

Some of the automations Gusto tries to work in can be annoying. For example, I want to add my employees' work emails to the system, but I don't want to link their google workspace account with Gusto. There doesn't seem to be a straightforward way to do this. Other than that, no real issues in over a year of use!

**What problems is Gusto solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Gusto makes payroll a (nearly) one click process. It saves me literally hours of my time every two weeks. It also automated our onboarding process, so instead of new employees receiving a pile of PDFs to fill out, they can quickly fill form fields and finalize documents in a fraction of the time.

**What do you like best about Gusto?**

The time and attendance part feeds payroll and that's the one thing I care about. That alone has reduced countless stupid mistakes. (bus is running late, btw... so I now have time to complete this). The self-serve aspects of Gusto are very solid as well. Employees can obtain their own pay stubs and tax documents through Gusto's portal and HR won't even have to receive an email asking them to send the employee the documentation.

**What do you dislike about Gusto?**

Navigation is a little clunky and feels like simple tasks take a lot of clicking and menu navigation. Petty annoyance, but the worker's comp policy document has never downloaded correctly... I receive the email stating it is ready and then I log into the Gusto portal to find no document is there... EVERY SINGLE TIME... I have to contact them to resend it. Frustrating. Customer Support Quality is a coin toss, I have had great reps, and others that I simply have to hope they got the question right.

**What problems is Gusto solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Gusto takes care of all your compliance items (multi-state taxes, etc.) and therefore you will not have to spend the money to hire a tax expert. Employees can update their own direct deposit information and their own tax withholding information, freeing up a large amount of time, I did not realize how much time I was wasting doing this.

Gusto is really easy to use. Working at a tech company myself, I am always analyzing how things look and how easy the UI is to navigate. The website always loads quickly and has everything I need to understand my pay and benefits. Support has been quick and useful in the limited times I've needed to utilize them.

**What do you dislike about Gusto?**

The text looks a bit small on the screen, although that may be due to my own display settings. I’d also like to see them make better use of additional AI features.

**What problems is Gusto solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Gusto has helped me demystify my pay and benefits, and it’s also made my retirement account much easier to understand. I feel more prepared to invest and prepare for my future.

**What do you like best about Gusto?**

I’m fairly new to Gusto and recently changed roles within our company. As I’ve taken on new responsibilities, both the knowledge base and the customer service reps have been great to work with and have helped me find what I need.

**What do you dislike about Gusto?**

At this point, our main pain point is assigning roles to employees. We often need help setting things up exactly the way we want, so I’d say this feature isn’t very intuitive. That said, the Customer Service team is always willing to help, and they do it with a great attitude.

**What problems is Gusto solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our company is small, and the owner has to wear many hats. By taking on more responsibilities in Gusto, I’m freeing up time so the owner can focus more on guiding and directing the company.

**What do you like best about Gusto?**

I like Gusto for the ease of processing payroll, which takes me less than five minutes every time. It's a major relief compared to my previous payroll company, which took at least twice as long. I also appreciate that I don't have to manually input extra PTO because it's all calculated immediately, and holidays are already included. Setting up a new employee is very easy, and I can do it all right from the platform without needing any interaction with other people. The customer service is generally very good, and I find it helpful that my payroll stubs are automatically sent to QuickBooks, which is also very easy to use.

**What do you dislike about Gusto?**

Customer service could be a little bit easier to get a hold of sometimes. The initial setup was not as easy as I thought it would be. It would have been helpful to have customer support or an account manager to help set up the account, especially for importing PTO hours and time off hours.

**What problems is Gusto solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Gusto makes payroll easy, taking under five minutes with automatic PTO calculation and holiday inclusion. I can create HR handbooks easily and set up new employees without hassle. Gusto also integrates payroll with QuickBooks, enhancing efficiency.

As an employee, Gusto tells me what paperwork I need to submit and what steps to follow for completing my onboarding. It's nice having a system that directly informs me of what needs to be done and the next steps. The initial setup was very easy, which is a big plus.

Figuring out how to navigate multistate employees and what to submit for that. It would be nice to have more specific guidance on how to categorize and what forms to file for different multistate employees, and when we have to do taxes in multiple states or when they're exempt.

Gusto solves hiring and tax paperwork issues, makes navigation easy, and frees us to focus on work instead of admin tasks.

I use Gusto for paying myself with a W-2 for my small business. I love how Gusto solves the complex parts of running payroll like tax handling, payroll taxes, Social Security, and Medicare by handling it all for me. The software is super simple to use; I just click pay, and it does everything, including withholding my taxes and generating my 1040 at year-end. I think I like most about Gusto is actually the user interface. It's super simple, cut and dry, and not complicated. You just click a button to run payroll, which makes it very easy to use. It makes everything in my business very systemized and easy to handle, especially monotonous tasks like payroll. I just want to hit a button, and it's taken care of. It also happens automatically in the background, so payroll is done, taxes are taken, and sent to IRS automatically without me worrying. The setup was very easy and very simple, took only a few minutes, and was definitely more simple than other payroll providers. I already recommended it to another business and referred them.

**What do you dislike about Gusto?**

The only thing I could say that could be improved is maybe the pricing. I think maybe $55 is a little steep, but, honestly, I'm happy with your platform.

I use Gusto for payroll and it covers all the taxes, including quarterly taxes, IRS taxes, and business taxes. The tax information feature is really helpful for keeping track of what I've been paying and what I've submitted to the state and government. I also find the setup very simple and easy, not hard at all.

**What do you dislike about Gusto?**

You have a lot of stuff going on. If you could minimize some of the other extra things that you offer, like the 401(k), the insurance stuff. If you could just minimize it, and make it just simple because it'd be a lot and it'd be overwhelming. Also if you made your taxes had documents that could be uploaded into quickbooks easy like payroll and fees paid for taxes and services. Create an annual or quarterly spread sheet for each business that breaksdown the fees and payroll paid along with the taxes. So we can use it for business tax filing.

I had selected next-day direct deposit, but I was initially told that I would need to wire the funds instead. However, after the situation was escalated, the issue was resolved and everything moved forward smoothly.

I like the clean UI layout of Gusto. It's a lot better than physical time cards and means that I don't have to ask my boss directly for everything. I can just put stuff into Gusto whenever and however I feel like it, and it helps by cleaning it up and making it easy to input. It also allows my boss to deal with requests asynchronously.

I don't like that there's ads in it. Gusto always sort of wants me to apply for a Gusto card or something, like advances on my payment, and I don't wanna be advertised to in an app that I'm required to use for work.

I guess the one thing that would be nice to have improved with Gusto is when I first transitioned to using the service, it wouldn't allow me, or at least I couldn't find the way, to properly enter in how much I've paid in payroll prior to using it. It wouldn't let me go back and do a manual entry for the benefits that have been paid out, but, yeah, that was my one problem.

Simplicity. It was very easy to learn how to navigate the website. I also like how we can leave notes so that admin can see what I'm doing but it also helps me recall why my hours look the way they do because I can review the notes. I understand the pricing of the program is also very affordable.

It is a self tracking program that times out. I cannot go back into previous weeks and adjust anything once admin has closed the tracking period. It's a process for them to get back in and adjust it.

My experience with Gusto has been phenomenal, I love that I can see my hours, clock in my hours, and manage different jobs from a single platform. Gusto is super interactive, explains everything very well, and is easy to understand. What I like the most is that I can view and manage my retirement savings plan (401k) from the app, even my savings, deciding how I want to invest them, whether in the stock market or government bonds. The platform is extremely easy to learn, even for older people, allowing them to log work hours, vacations, or request time off easily. I also like that the initial setup of Gusto was easy, with excellent support from the customer service center, responding on time and answering our emails. Furthermore, I definitely recommend Gusto, I would give it a 10 out of 10.

It is incredibly easy to use and to access all of my documents. I appreciate the email notifications of payday and reminders of outstanding tasks, which are frequent but not annoyingly frequent. It's super convenient to have a "home base" where all of my company benefits forms, payment info, and other details are found. There's lots of help available using the chat feature and the online documentation was helpful when I was trying to figure out something with my forms.

I wish there was more customization available for forms and documents being created. For example, if I could select which information to be redacted or not redacted on my paperwork instead of having to contact my company admin to get that changed, I'd really appreciate it.

I also really like how documents are managed—it’s easy to navigate and very flexible, so it should work well for most companies. I find Gusto easy to use and appreciate the in-depth distribution of paychecks. I also like that they have their checking account, and it's easy to track 401k and personal savings distribution. I can distribute my paycheck across different bank accounts for savings, rent and utilities, and groceries and fun, which I can manage through Gusto easily.

The paycheck amount for the current period. Earlier I was able to see it 2 days before the paycheck hit my account, but after recent updates, I can just see it on the day of the paycheck. I like to see my paycheck amount in advance so that then I can distribute and see my finance structure for the next 2 weeks in accordance and budget it accordingly. Earlier I was able to do it easily, but after the recent update, this feature was removed.

I use Gusto to track paychecks, submit reimbursements, and evaluate taxes. It provides easy insights on my paycheck and has a clean interface. I like the easy distribution of paychecks and the ability to track 401k and savings.

I like how Gusto's technology is very simple and modern, unlike old archaic payroll systems. It's easy for our employees to use and track their own pay. It's also very easy to make adjustments, onboard or dismiss employees, and run payroll. The platform reduces the time spent on payroll significantly, which is really helpful. Additionally, it's very affordable compared to other payroll providers.

**What do you dislike about Gusto?**

One area that could improve on Gusto is the paid time off or sick time tracking area. Sometimes it can be confusing if you have different policies like a sick policy or a paid time off policy or an unpaid policy. Keeping track of all those and having it clear on how it applies to each employee and where their actual remaining hours are at is an area for improvement. Another area is document signing. It does well during the onboarding procedure, but if you want to send updated employment agreements at the end of the year or the start of a new year, there's not really a great function for sending updated agreements and being able to track that and to resend them.

Gusto lets my team clock in via a mobile app and uses geofencing for location tracking. It streamlines payroll, syncing hours and PTO effortlessly, making it easy to issue weekly payroll. Adjustments and onboarding are simple, saving time and reducing costs.

Gusto is very quick and easy to use.  Most importantly for me I can pay international contractors just as easily as my US staff.  It is so much faster to do payroll than my old very expensive company.  It is so easy to onboard new people because it lets the new teammate enter all of their own information.  They also offer integrations fo additional convenience  I am looking forward to trying some of the AI functions.

It is impossible to submit payroll on a mobile device.

Paying international workers easily and providing benefits like insurance effortlessly.  Also Workers Comp is integrated so now audits needed. They have all of the accurate information each week.

The platform is user-friendly, and all of the integrations are great. I don’t have any issues with how the software performs overall, but it’s not ideal if you’re doing prevailing wage payroll. The pricing is fair, and support is good, although sometimes it can turn into a lengthy conversation. I haven’t used the AI functionality yet.

**What do you dislike about Gusto?**

It doesn’t support prevailing-wage payroll, so it isn’t ideal for construction companies. I also found out that you have to use the scheduling feature to ensure your journal entries are broken down by location. Otherwise, if an employee moves from job to job, the journal entries in your accounting platform needs to be manually adjusted, that's not ideal for accurate job costing.

I’m not sure they’re solving any problems right now. I’ve had to rely on a few workarounds, and it’s been pretty time-consuming.

**What do you dislike about Gusto?**

I wish I could click a link and be directly transferred to my 401k.  I would like to check on it but I honestly can't remember what the website is and what the login info would be.

**What problems is Gusto solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps me make changes to any forms quickly.  I can access tax information.  I can see my time off requests and make adjustments as needed.  I can look back at all my paystubs.

**What do you like best about Gusto?**

The UI is very simple and easy to navigate. Another good thing about it is that it has payroll and the documents you need to get your pay set up already integrated within it so there onboarding process is really fast. For the pricing I would say that it has great performance for the amount of ROI you get on ease of use for payroll and onboarding tools. One of the best tools I use is the pay period function where I often check to see how many hours I’ve clocked over the past pay period so I can see what how much time I need to spend in the office. And in terms of AI and artificial intelligence it has a variety of features like AI agents to help you get setup if your new or if your having trouble with the software.

**What do you dislike about Gusto?**

I would say the least helpful feature is the starting screen because it doesn’t really integrate any features other than the clock in and clock out button, other than that the page doesn’t do much

**What problems is Gusto solving and how is that benefiting you?**

With the help us Gusto’s integration of the documents feature, I no longer have the issue of having to hold physical private employee or tax documents that run the risk or getting leaked on file anymore as Gusto stores them in their secure cloud.

**What do you like best about Gusto?**

I really appreciate the dashboard and how user-friendly it is. I think the vibe of it is actually really nice. It's easy for me to use on the admin side, and it's easy for employees to use on their side as well. It's comprehensive without being overly complicated. The initial setup was quite easy, which I found convenient as we are a new company.

**What do you dislike about Gusto?**

One of the things that is not ideal is the state tax setup has to be done with a third party, and some of the third-party integrations in the past haven't been the best. Also, there's no way to retroactively correct pay and have it be auto-calculated, so math has to be manual and input in as additional pay if there's a change in payroll that needs to be retroactive back to a specific date. It would be much easier if the system could calculate those numbers automatically.

**What problems is Gusto solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Gusto is great for payroll management, time off, and policy tracking. It's also helpful for employees to see their pay stubs and assists with compliance on the HR and operation side.

**What do you like best about Gusto?**

I love how easy Gusto is to navigate. It asks me questions along the way that makes payroll easy and is very thorough on how to do the employee taxes. I loved having a live person helping me with whatever questions I had. Gusto has been a big improvement from the previous payroll company we used. It was pretty easy to figure it out, and I've hired new employees with no problem. We love Gusto.

**What do you dislike about Gusto?**

The only thing I would like for Gusto to improve on, is when filling out the online tax question form to figure out how much tax to withhold- to please include a specialized one for pastors. They have a salary and also self-employment because of the housing allowance. This would help pastors know how much exactly to withhold for social security tax and medicare.

**What problems is Gusto solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Gusto for payroll, and it helps with onboarding, taxes, and payroll for all employees. I love how easy it is to navigate and that it guides me through payroll steps. Having a live person to answer questions is great, too.

**What do you like best about Gusto?**

I like that it acts as it's own way of saving money/bill accounting. It's helpful to have money in an easily accessible app and debit card. I also like the features offered like two-day early pay. It's also a very easy way for me to access my tax documents and pay stubs. The app performs well/I haven't had crashes so far. It is free for my company to use. I am glad it doesn't use AI (from my experience so far). It integrates well with my other banking apps.

**What do you dislike about Gusto?**

I don't like the sign in at all. It is frustrating to sign in twice or have it not remember my device. I also am not a fan of how the options are laid on the screen as it can be a bit confusing to navigate. I wish the app or website had a quicker way to access time tracking.

**What problems is Gusto solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is beneficial to easy ways to access my pay. It helps me receive digital payment with a good time estimate.

**What do you like best about Gusto?**

I love that Gusto is user-friendly. It's very understanding and easy to navigate. The timekeeping is very valuable as it helps us keep track of our employees, whether they are remote or on-site. It's great for managing time cards and allows us to have some safeguards in place for tracking purposes. The initial setup was very efficient, taking only a few weeks. The technicians and reps were very responsive, and it was seamless thanks in part to my previous experience with the platform.

**What do you dislike about Gusto?**

I don't like the timekeeping feature in Gusto. While it's helpful for monitoring time cards, I can't edit time entries in real-time if someone clocks in late. I have to wait until they clock out to make changes, which creates some barriers.

**What problems is Gusto solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Gusto solves the issue of manual tasks, making it a great platform for us. Timekeeping is valuable for tracking remote employees and managing time cards, giving us safeguards for tracking purposes.

**What do you like best about Gusto?**

I use Gusto for work, and I like how it tracks my hours and lets me see my paystubs easily. It's great that I can review or request time off without hassle. I find it really convenient that I can easily adjust my hours if needed without stressing about forgetting to clock out. It makes tracking time sheets much easier. I also appreciate the ability to make separate savings accounts from my paycheck; that helps me save before the money hits my checking account. Switching from Homebase to Gusto was nice because Gusto is easier to navigate. The initial setup of Gusto was super easy.

**What do you dislike about Gusto?**

I think leaving a note any time you add or adjust hours is unnecessary.

**What problems is Gusto solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Gusto to track my hours easily, view my paystubs, and manage time off requests. It simplifies timesheet tracking and reduces stress by allowing me to adjust hours without worry.

**What do you like best about Gusto?**

I use Gusto for tracking my hours and receiving my pay, and I think it's excellent for time tracking. I love the flexibility of being able to edit my hours after making a mistake, without having to reach out to management. It's very user-friendly and intuitive; you don't have to go digging and searching for things. My favorite feature is the paycheck estimate, which tells you how much you can expect to be paid. It's right on the homepage so you can see it as soon as you log in. The initial setup for me personally was very easy and straightforward.

**What do you dislike about Gusto?**

It logs me out too often. I don't like having to log in so often, it's a bit of a hassle when trying to clock in and clock out quickly.

**What problems is Gusto solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Gusto is excellent for time tracking, allowing me to edit hours without contacting management. It's user-friendly, makes accessing pay stubs and taxes easy, and the paycheck estimate feature is conveniently on the homepage.
