I used the platform to onboard to my current company and found that it is very easy to use and to navigate for my daily needs (i.e. time tracking, time off, etc). The layout and software is user friendly and I have not experienced any software issues. **What do you dislike about Gusto?** So far, I have not encountered anything that I dislike about Gusto. It is one of the easiest platforms I have used in regard to navigating day to day needs. You can get them in PDF format easily either through a web browser or through a mobile app. This makes it very easy when you need your information on the go. It was easy to integrate with bank account. Speed of the product seems to be great never waiting on information you click on something and your not waiting on the information. I believe our company is getting great value for this product. If you need support you can click on help and chat with the AI agent to get quick answers in most cases. **What do you dislike about Gusto?** Other than Gusto being less well known than some other products out there. I really can't think of any negative sides to using the product. The layout is crystal clear and easy to navigate, and what I use most (my profile, pay stubs, and wallet) is right there on the homepage. It saves me time each day by helping me organize my tasks and keep track of the projects I’m working on. As a nonprofit, it’s a great tool for our staff to monitor how they’re dividing their time and how that time is being spent, so when we review and audit hours, everything is already there for us. Requesting time off and tracking accruals is also incredibly well organized. Often, it’s hard to understand where our hours come from and how many requests we’ve submitted, but Gusto makes it easy. I work in administration at an outpatient mental health practice, and I use Gusto regularly to track my hours and access my pay information. The website is very easy to navigate, and I can quickly find what I need without having to spend much time searching through different menus. One feature I particularly appreciate is the ability to easily correct an error if I accidentally clock in or out incorrectly. This makes tracking my hours much less stressful and saves my director time as well. Gusto is also very beneficial when I need to review my paychecks or access previous pay stubs, since they are readily available in one place. Our practice has been using Gusto for years, and its ease of use has made managing hours and payroll much more convenient for both employees and management. **What do you dislike about Gusto?** One thing I dislike about Gusto is that there are some limitations when making changes to hours after a pay period has been processed. If I realize I made an error with my time after payroll has already been processed, I have to go through my director or administrator to have it corrected rather than being able to make the change myself. Gusto does make it very easy to edit hours before payroll is processed, which I appreciate, but having a simpler way to handle corrections after payroll would be helpful. It would also be nice if the process for making these corrections were more straightforward for employees. **What problems is Gusto solving and how is that benefiting you?** Before using Gusto, keeping track of hours and accessing pay information could be more time-consuming and would require more back-and-forth between employees and management. Gusto has made this process much more streamlined for our practice. I use it regularly to clock in and out, track my hours, and review my pay information, while my director can easily review and manage employee hours and payroll. One of the biggest benefits is being able to catch and correct mistakes with my time entries without creating a complicated process for my director. If I accidentally forget to clock in or out, I can easily review my hours and make the necessary correction. I also have immediate access to my current and previous pay stubs, so I don’t have to ask someone in administration to provide them whenever I need to review my pay history. I set it up once and it just runs on autopilot each cycle, calculations, tax stuff, direct deposits, all handled without me having to babysit every line. Benefits and HR basics like onboarding and PTO are baked in too, so new hires can just self-onboard and fill out their own paperwork instead of me chasing them down. Basically turned payroll from a dreaded chore into something I barely think about anymore. **What do you dislike about Gusto?** It's pretty limited when I need something more specific, like a custom breakdown or date range, so I end up exporting to a spreadsheet and doing it myself. That's cut down a lot of the duplicate data entry and back-and-forth, and it's made it way easier to get a full picture of an employee's info without digging through multiple platforms. Love how they allow us to easily have team members in multiple states and those relevant taxes paid through gusto without me worrying about compliance in all those areas. I figured I would do a trial to see. I setup the entire thing, even added the employees and linked it to QB in about a half hour. A rep from Gusto called me while I was setting up and even helped me through it. I processed my first payroll the next day in about 5 minutes and save about half the cost of QB. I entered all the employees and their withholding without having them do the onboarding but for any new employees I will have them do it themselves. **What do you dislike about Gusto?** The only thing I didn't like is that you have to come into the system again a day or 2 later in order to download the QB IIF file then import it. Also, maybe I just don't know how to do it properly but it only imports the main info into QB, not the details by employee. **What problems is Gusto solving and how is that benefiting you?** QB used to let you do multiple companies and use their payroll but now you can only do one company's payroll. I am truly grateful for that. All you have to do is enter your employees' hours worked and Gusto will calculate everything else (including taxes) without you needing a degree in math. It also has an extremely user-friendly dashboard for employees to log in and get their own w-2's at the end of each year instead of asking me all the time. **What do you dislike about Gusto?** The customer support for Gusto has completely died over the last year. When you create a ticket, you typically wait 3 days just for some random agent to respond with a copy and paste message that does not even fix your problem. I hate this keyboard it keeps skipping spaces and its driving me crazy They also charge extra for silly things such as filing amended returns with the irs (even though you already pay for there full service tier). **What problems is Gusto solving and how is that benefiting you?** It allows us to pay our employees on time so we won't get in trouble with the government and it also provides one location for employees to log into and clock in, request vacation time off and view their pay stubs.
