"Effortless and Reliable for Firefighter Operations"
What do you like best about First Due?

I like how First Due makes everything easier to access with its layout and how neat everything is. It's very simple and easy to use, which is convenient for our department. I also appreciate the customer service; they're fast to fix things when they're not working. Additionally, First Due allows me to easily find the location of calls that just came in, which is really helpful for my job as a firefighter. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about First Due?

There's only been one problem with First Due, where our call would come out as messages, but other than that, it hasn't had any issues with me. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Promising Response Module, Needs Better Scheduling"
What do you like best about First Due?

I find the response module in First Due particularly promising and I'm intrigued by the digital command board. I appreciate its capability for better tracking of crews on the fireground, which seems to offer a strategic enhancement to operational efficiency. Moreover, the ability to create command board templates tailored for different types of incidents reflects a level of customization that suggests potential for versatile application across various scenarios. I also value the broader networking advantage presented by First Due, which allows for sharing pre-plans with other agencies in our area. This feature not only fosters community-wide preparedness but also signifies a collaborative approach to emergency response planning. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about First Due?

I think there's room to improve the scheduling. I came from CrewForce and I felt that was a more user friendly system. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Great for Inspections, Scheduling Needs Improvement"
What do you like best about First Due?

I really like the Inspections Module and the Assets Module of First Due. These features are invaluable in helping us manage and keep our inventory and truck/equipment trucks updated. They allow us to see where we stand with repairs and identify what equipment needs to be replaced. The Inspections Module is particularly beneficial for maintaining organization with our yearly inspections, and it makes it easy to track re-inspections and monitor any existing violations. Additionally, we have found the Inspections Module to streamline the process, making it much easier to schedule and organize our inspections. We are also starting to explore the Preplan module to develop our preplans, which is another promising aspect of the software. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about First Due?

I find the scheduling feature in First Due challenging to configure for our small department. It seems tailored for larger departments, and we're struggling to adapt it for our needs. Our department doesn't stick with the same truck throughout the day, and it's complicated to manage the shift board so that it integrates well with our incident responses. Additionally, setting up First Due was somewhat more difficult than we anticipated, and we're still in the process of configuring certain modules. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Efficient and User-Friendly for Fire Departments"
What do you like best about First Due?

I like how quick First Due is. It will stop everything on my phone and show me the notification, which is very important for reacting to calls for firefighting. And I like how easy the features are to schedule things, have time off, and be able to see where my scheduling is. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about First Due?

Maybe if it was a little quicker on the notifications, that would be helpful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Effortless Shift Management with Room for Improvement"
What do you like best about First Due?

I like how First Due helps with accepting call shifts, and I find its simplicity and fairness appealing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about First Due?

Finding the correct equipment checks can be cumbersome. Easier access into sub menus would help. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"First Due Review"
What do you like best about First Due?

I really like how First Due is able to make their program adaptable to our needs. When they see a need for improvement from the people who use it, they find a way to make it happen. The ability to pull out information for analytics is improving almost monthly. Talking with other Fire Departments and how they utilize First Due in dashboards or ad-hoc reports all we need to do is talk with our First Due rep and he can bring over the report they have already created. Makes life so much easier when the setup you are looking for is there and you can tweak it to be exactly what you are looking for. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about First Due?

If you are looking for a one-of-a-kind thing to be done in the system you might not get what you want due to demand. If what you are looking for is wanted by multiple departments then it is more likely to become a priority. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"As a Fire Marshal I love the ease of use and customer service."
What do you like best about First Due?

For years I was looking for a program that allowed me to design my inspection checklist as needed. I talk with many who stated oh we can do that well when I cam across First Due not only could they do that but more. I use it for permiting , inspections, and my crews like the ease of use as well. Their customer service is outstanding when I have an issue they are there to listen and find an answer for me fairly quickly. It was very easy to implement and intergrate into our department. We use it everyday and are always looking to add things we do try to challenge their Dev Team with ideas that we think would make it even easier to use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about First Due?

There are a few things I wish it could do right now but I have to wait for their Dev team to put it together. Sometimes I am not paitent. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Best All Around Fire and EMS Software"
What do you like best about First Due?

Our team enjoys the interconnectivity of all the modules, we went from paying for 4 different vendors for scheduling, responder, pcrs, and messaging. One software now does it all. We also enjoy how often new features are being rolled out, we look forward to the monthly release notes to see what new features are on the platform. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about First Due?

Some flows especially in scheduling are still a little clunky, we have to go into setup to edit snap assignments. This seems to be something that is being worked on. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Great customer service that builds what I need"
What do you like best about First Due?

The customer service focus. Everything from the Facebook chats, ideas page, ticket tracker, everything. It’s HEAVILY focused on the customer success. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about First Due?

The small downsides are that the core functionality is always tailored to a full time shift based fire department. Most features rarely are driven by volunteer fire service thinking which causes a lot of creative use on our end. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"The most complete all encompasing software"
What do you like best about First Due?

The ease and consistency of the platform across all modules. The knowledge base is super helpful, especially during implementation. The system for implementation is superior to other products i have had to install and set up. Customer service is far above the rest. The my area in the knowledge base is extremely helpful in keeping organized. I use this product everyday, from work and home to on the road. I am a Battalion Chief and i like the fact that i can approve time off at a moments notice so that my personnel can plan their lives. The integration to the department was very easy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about First Due?

Some of the features are at a macro level. Each of these areas have been addressed and with each passing month the improvements have been welcomed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
