When it works, the configurability, flexibility, continuum, scalability for different agencies, and analytics.

**What do you dislike about ImageTrend?**

The instability and delays during a major transition (NERIS). Critical features such as daily roster population, slate-based crew importing, CQI workflows, and response time benchmarking have been delayed multiple times. While some of these features may have lower usage across the broader customer base, they have high operational impact for agencies that rely on them, particularly high-call-volume departments.

**What problems is ImageTrend solving and how is that benefiting you?**

For our agency, ImageTrend centralizes incident, patient care, dispatch, and operational data that would otherwise live in multiple disconnected systems. This reduces duplicate data entry, supports regulatory compliance (including state and federal reporting requirements such as NERIS), and creates a single source of truth for incident documentation and performance analysis. s. When functioning as intended, this data supports informed decision-making, staffing analysis, CQI initiatives, and transparent reporting to leadership, boards, and the public.

ImageTrend offers remarkable flexibility and power for EMS documentation and quality improvement. Its customizable forms, power tools, validations, and workflows enable agencies to adapt documentation processes to meet state requirements, all while enhancing accuracy and efficiency for crews. The platform’s reporting and QA features facilitate meaningful data review, moving beyond simple checkbox compliance. **What do you dislike about ImageTrend?**

The extensive customization options may present a learning curve, particularly for agencies that do not have a dedicated system administrator. Some of the more advanced features are not immediately intuitive and may require additional time, training, or support to use effectively. Additionally, navigation within certain tools could be improved to minimize the number of clicks required for end users, especially in high-volume EMS settings.

**What problems is ImageTrend solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ImageTrend is tackling persistent EMS documentation and data quality issues with the introduction of AI Assist, which helps organize narratives, spot missing information, and promote more thorough and consistent reporting. Although the tool is still in its early phases, the data-driven AI Assist already shows significant promise in minimizing documentation gaps, enhancing accuracy, and aiding quality assurance by directing users to required fields and clinically important procedures. Even at this initial stage, it adds value by enabling crews and reviewers to work more efficiently, all while preserving the importance of clinical judgment.

**What do you like best about ImageTrend?**

You don’t feel like you’re hopping between five different systems just to finish a chart. The run form, CAD import, signatures, QA workflow, reporting, it all ties together in a way that makes day-to-day documentation feel less chaotic. When it’s configured well, it supports the provider instead of getting in their way.

**What do you dislike about ImageTrend?**

Even though ImageTrend Elite is a capable and comprehensive system, the interface can take some getting used to. The layout is sometimes a bit busy, and certain workflows require navigating through several screens, which can slow users down until they develop familiarity with it. With regular use the process becomes smoother, but new or infrequent users may find the learning curve a little steeper than expected.

**What problems is ImageTrend solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ImageTrend is solving the really unglamorous but mission-critical problem of bringing all the pieces of EMS documentation and quality data into one place. Instead of juggling separate systems for charting, signatures, CAD data, QA review, and reporting, everything flows through a single platform. That cohesion reduces errors, cuts down on duplicate work, and gives a cleaner picture of each patient encounter.

It also solves the problem of data visibility. I’m able to quickly access trends, performance metrics, and individual chart details without waiting for reports to be built or exported. For quality management, that’s huge. It means faster feedback loops, better compliance tracking, and a more accurate understanding of what’s actually happening in the field.

Another problem it tackles is workflow tracking. Knowing where a chart is in the process helps prevent bottlenecks and lets me prioritize follow-up. It removes the guesswork and back-and-forth emails that used to slow everything down.

Overall, the benefit is a smoother, more transparent documentation and QA environment. It makes daily operations more efficient, supports better clinical oversight, and gives me the tools to focus on improvement instead of hunting for information.

**What do you like best about ImageTrend?**

I like that ImageTrend is so customizable. I also appreciate that ImageTrend has been around for a long time and has a good customer support and knowledge base system. The knowledge base and Trendi are very helpful for getting answers to questions, and I never feel like I'm asking a dumb question.

**What do you dislike about ImageTrend?**

The features in the 'user' module are often clunky and don't flow well. Entering a lot of certifications in each user profile is inconvenient as I can't attach a cert document directly into the certification tab, leading to double entry. It's inefficient to have those two areas separate. Also, in the User module, I can only see a certain number of additional certs in the list view. A pop-out window to view all and sort by date or cert would be helpful. The employment tab is also frustrating because I can't view all the employment history in one screen, and the list doesn't sort automatically by date order. It's annoying that administrator needs seem neglected in this area. Also, the initial setup of ImageTrend was very difficult, and I wasn't given good guidance on how to get started.

**What problems is ImageTrend solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use ImageTrend to track required certifications and personnel history, and it helps run reports on incidents for our director staff.

**What do you like best about ImageTrend?**

Comprehensive Approach to all aspects of a fire service RMS

**What do you dislike about ImageTrend?**

1.) Oversold and under produced.  They promised a lot of things during the NFIRS to NERIS transition, but were unable to produce them prior to the conversion.  Focus was just on meeting the NERIS objectives which caused some myopia on what the fire service needed, such as other non-incident features.
2.) Is it possible that Image Trend is too diversified?  They started out on the medical side of things and then branched into the fire service.

**What problems is ImageTrend solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Long gone are the times when a fire chief could just ask for a new fire engine, new station, or more people and the chief would just get it.  Now, more questions for justification are being asked of the fire chief every day.  Data = Information = Power.  Without power, the fire chief would get laughed out of the board room when requesting more resources.  Each request has to be justified and backed up with power.  That power comes from data.  Collecting and managing data is what an RMS does.

**What do you like best about ImageTrend?**

I really like how ImageTrend is an all-in-one system that handles inspections, EMS and fire reports, and hydrants. It's been great having just one system for all our fire department tracking and inventory needs, and it's nice that it's an all in one for fire departments like Firehouse was. Additionally, the reporting feature is helpful because we can report the date that's entered and get it out into a usable format. The initial setup was easy, thanks to the implementation coordinator who guided us through the process.

**What do you dislike about ImageTrend?**

I find that inspections, EMS to fire data mapping, and the smartphone application could be improved.

**What problems is ImageTrend solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use ImageTrend for fire department reporting, inspections, and hydrant management. It tackles our reporting needs and serves as an all-in-one system for tracking and inventory, effectively replacing outdated systems.

**What do you like best about ImageTrend?**

Our state has used ImageTrend for several years now.  Our dept has recently purchased our own stand-alone site that transmits to the state site. We used ImageTrend strictly for EMS on a daily basis (we are a high volume department for EMS) up until this past summer when we integrated the fire module, investigation module, training module, and inventory/truck checks.  The transition from our previous software had it's hiccups, but customer support was always readily available and helps us out as problems arise.

**What do you dislike about ImageTrend?**

The training module is difficult to work with.  Building a report can be cumbersome and if you aren't familiar with building reports, the information you need may be hard to find.

**What problems is ImageTrend solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The integration of AI has been a huge improvement!  We were actually looking at an AI software for about a year and we were fixing to purchase it, however we learned that ImageTrend was soon going to be launching their own version of AI for all clients.  Once I figured it out and turned it on, the crews have been using it to get used to it.  Being a high volume service, less time spent writing reports is always helpful.

**What do you like best about ImageTrend?**

I like ImageTrend's familiar user interface with customizability, making it easier for staff to find the sections or fields they need. The easy tabbed activation is really helpful, allowing fast access to items like times and mileage. I appreciate how the validation guides users to fully complete documentation, as the validation is customized to take them directly to the required fields.

**What do you dislike about ImageTrend?**

The software seems to have a heavy focus on fire services in the past few years, and there haven't been any revolutionary features for the core focus of EMS documentation. Also, the web-based approach without a local client leads to frequent sync errors that prevent immediate use. The upgrade from v2 to v3 ELITE felt like starting over and was a rough process.

ImageTrend offers a familiar interface with customization, easy tabbed activation for fast access to items, and validation guides that help ensure complete documentation.

Easy platform. Okay stats but could be better. good customer service.

**What do you dislike about ImageTrend?**

Inability to pull the stats from all of our calls at once on the CAD reports. If your times are in the CAD report, which they are, you then could see duplicate, triplicate calls within the day. Instead you've place this in the Fire report but it's not able to capture the full picture. No one can help over the past 18 months I've been asking.

How to use AI for review reports through a QA module. Maybe one day we can upload protocols and it would compare narratives, power tools and more to see if the protocols were met.

Right now it is hard to say what I like best. We are struggling with most modules that we use. The Community Health module and the L/O/I seem to be working the best.

Feels like they push updates without fully vetting them.

How you charge ridiculous sums for an API and data mart.  How you launched NERIS and were months behind on day 1.

Everything was categorized, once familiar and used frequently it can be easy to navigate, lots of options when writing reports, having it being implemented and being the test guinea pigs was fine it wasnt too hard to learn without having a class on it. Overall a better system for calls.

**What do you dislike about ImageTrend?**

Can take awhile to learn where everything is located extending your report writing timeframe, at the time when released sometimes things needed to be typed in or selected or written in to complete report, as a field EMT we didnt have access customer support due to multiple calls.

It solved detailed reports, it benefits us with ease of use but it benefits patients more with detailed reports.

ImageTrend is so user friendly! I absolutely love this software, all the different features makes use and organization so much easier. Training new employees on this software is such a breeze!

The loading times are a little slow but other than that it’s a great program.

By uploading and saving all of my patients charts into imagetread it makes locating patient information so easy. Just a couple clicks and I’m there.

**What do you like best about ImageTrend?**

Simply put, most ePCR's all contain the same elements and the UI is generally very similar. Where Image Trend is different is the platform and the technology behind the platform. The degree of customization is unmatched in the industry and with a little creativity it can be used in a variety of ways to track and manage virtually any EMS element.

**What do you dislike about ImageTrend?**

Acknowledging that the internet service is probably the problem, it can be slow from time to time and secondary to that it is a very complex system that is simple to learn but takes a lot of time to achieve mastery.

**What problems is ImageTrend solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have only recently implemented so we are still on the up hill side of Image Trend. We believe that one element is transaparency into completeness and time to completion of ePCR reports. Obviously, this is critical for a number of reasons but contains touchstones of clinical competency and velocity of billing applications. Both of which begin at the patient side and end in a virtual environment.

**What do you like best about ImageTrend?**

I love ImageTrend for its software offerings to the EMS/Fire industry. We use ImageTrend Elite for data capture of EMS and Fire department runs. That data is then expored into ImageTrend Billing Bridge for ambulance transport billing. Excellent, seamless transfer of that data. Some very good features in both for customizing both the Elite user interface and the billing interface. Very little down time - in fact, I cannot recall having downtime that was the result of a problem at ImageTrend. Great price point for the service. Highly recommend

**What do you dislike about ImageTrend?**

I cannot think of many "dislikes" about our experience with ImageTrend. Only one comes to mind and that I believe is an industry problem rather than an ImageTrend problem. Technical Support is typically most software vendors' weakest area. ImageTrend has improved on this since we signed on and it has continued to improve.

**What problems is ImageTrend solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We had seen a high number of incomplete or missing reports due to having a combination department with Volunteers. The ImageTrend Elite offers the ability to create a Fire report from the EMS report where selected data fields are, or can be, exported into a Fire report. This has solved a big gap for us. Cloud service is probably the biggest advantage to us. Being a small department, we do not employ an IT department and only contract out for large problems/support. ImageTrend has done a fabulous job for us keeping our data safe, ensuring security of patient information, and giving us piece of mind that our service will be there when we need it.

**What do you like best about ImageTrend?**

ImageTrend has been extremely customizable for our uses both for the end-user experience and in using the CQI Module. As the agency ImageTrend administrator, I can easily make changes to the form to fit our needs. 
The CQI Module has been a perfect fit for our agency, as well. We have completely customized the type of charts we review and every chart is filtered through the system in near-real time upon completion. In many instances, we can provide same-day feedback to medics. 
On the back-end, we can pull reports from every data point in the chart as well with Report Writer. 
In addition to all of the above, we have weekly meetings with our Account Advisor to address any questions or issues we may have encountered.

**What do you dislike about ImageTrend?**

The only downside I could possibly find is that because you can do so much, it can be overwhelming. However, between ImageTrend University and our Account Advisor, I always find quick solutions to any question I may have.

**What problems is ImageTrend solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We utilize ImageTrend not only for our ePCR uses but also for Quality Improvement. We are able to review charts in near-real time upon being completed. In turn, everything we do in the CQI Module is queriable which we then use to develop education and system improvements.

It is the same as it has been for many years.

It is the same as it has been for many years. It isn't very good getting information back out without an IT  or programmer background.

I do not believe they are solving anything at the moment. They have not changed anything at the end user perspective for many years. ESO & First Due are beating them. Unable to make field adjustments as it relates to the City's use in terms of creating mandatory fields. Issues in locking/unlocking certain areas that have been locked by the user.

I like that we have more control over the program to better fit our needs and can chage it as our needs change. I feel it helps assist with providers and their documentation with adding new validations for different scenerios.

I am not a fan of how the signature grids are set up and feel they can use some updating with auto time stamps to accurately capture when a signature is captured.

We have issues with crews not documenting items that are required to be in the documentaion based off the type of call ran. With Image Trend I have been able to create validations to highlight items that would need to be documented that tend to be forgotten of miss documented.

ImageTrend is great with automating systems. The userability is great. Our offices use this product frequently (on a daily basis). This system allows our office to have all information readily to share and help external customers.

**What do you dislike about ImageTrend?**

The report writer part of ImageTrend is a great tool, however, it would be great if it had a dashboard type set up so that schedule reports would update it. This would allow us to see trends at ease.

ImageTrend is currently working on adding data fields for an application we are working on building. Automating this project will help reduce our offices workload and help with processing the applications with consistancy.
