There are many things I do not like about OfficeMate. Mainly, the reports are very difficult to pull, they take a long time to load and they are not as customizable as I would prefer. The fee slipping can also be cumbersome. The system is very old looking, almost archaic. I wish we could also delete or merge patient accounts. Scheduler, officemate, examwriter are all separate windows; would love to see everything in one. Also, really hate the right click vs left click in examwriter when templating. Sometimes officemate crashes so we have to wait to verify patient information. Sometimes it is a easy fix but sometimes not that easy. We might have to call someone from our team to get it fixed that helps us when the internet or things like that don't work. I like that it works effortlessly with the clinic program ExamWriter and the information for fee slips and Rx's can be sent over so that the front staff does not have to worry about learning the clinic software on top of everything else. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

There is always something broken. From permanent workarounds for objects in the software that don't work as intended to entirely different behaviors for similar functions in different parts of the software Eyefinity/Officemate is unable to deliver a solid experience. I love how easy it is to use, we can literally do everything in it! It makes it easy to schedule appointments, print receipts, put orders in, and even bill insurance. VSP is integrated into it so billing that is a breeze!!! Also, we use Weave and that is integrated into Officemate as well. They make it difficult to do some transactions and do VSP insurance at times. Sometimes when you go to bill a VSP claim (especially for materials), the claim does not go through the first time which means you have to go through the hassle and extra time to get a new authorization to bill it yet again. It seems that this is an Officemate glitch as we have called about this issue before and it is something on their end. They document it though and seem to continue to improve their software.
