I find Visual-Eyes comprehensive and easy to navigate. It eliminates duplicate entry across platforms and reduces inefficiencies in the clinic. Integrated Lens Ordering reduces user error and processing time. VEConnect lets the front desk send recall and appointment reminders, including intake forms. Doctors can view previous exam information while charting and see results imported from other equipment. The intake forms are helpful for pretesters, and uploading pretest results directly to the patient exam helps with efficiency and accuracy. I also value the reports and that Visual-Eyes isn’t cloud based. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I find the routing module adds more work than it assists with office flow. The catalogues are complicated to upload initially, and the Rx module unnecessarily requires me to expand multiple fields. When I’m editing an exam, I can’t open previous CL or Rx orders for information. Support isn’t always timely. Instructions for added modules can be vague: I’m told to customize them any way I want, then months later I’m told the initial setup should have been done differently to report or use that information.
