  ### 1. Onboarding total nightmare: Two Months In and Still Not Live

The onboarding process has been a nightmare

**What do you dislike about EventsAir?**

It has been two months since we signed our contract, and we just went live with one app but there are still issues.  The other module still needs work. We gave them our dates (all of which were missed). We have sporadic meetings with their different teams, but they don't help us or ensure all necessary steps are completed.  Our CSM went on vacation for 10 days and gave us an 800# and the pooled CS email.  I emailed it multiple times and no one got back to me.  One saving grace is that their support team is responsive and helpful via email.  The modules can do a lot, but it is complicated to set up.

**What problems is EventsAir solving and how is that benefiting you?**

A single platform for all our event needs (registration, speaker management, sponsor management, budgeting)

**What do you like best about EventsAir?**

The onboarding team (Francie & Deanna) have been fantastic - very informative and always ready to troubleshoot and problem-solve any questions we had. What I particularly like best about EventsAir is how the platform brings everything together in one place. The abstract system, registration, and contacts are all integrated, which makes managing information much easier and more efficient to use.

**What do you dislike about EventsAir?**

Our conference is a little complex, and one challenge we’ve encountered is with a 3-person panel format for abstract submissions. At no fault of our own, the system isn’t quite set up yet to support this functionality, which creates a bit of a limitation for us. We have found a solution for now; however, we are looking forward to it being more streamlined.

**What problems is EventsAir solving and how is that benefiting you?**

EventsAir is helping us simplify the complexity of managing a large-scale conference by centralising abstracts, registrations, and contacts in one platform. This integration saves time, reduces duplication, and makes the process much more efficient.

While our 3-person panel abstract format has been a challenge, and the system doesn’t yet fully support this setup, we’ve implemented a temporary workaround. Even so, having everything in one place has been a huge benefit, and we look forward to seeing more streamlined functionality in the future.

All in one platform, no need to a la carte and order things separate. Great support team.

Be nice if we could see read receipts or have more info on communication statuses.

Greatly improved our registration process. Super easy platform to use and understand so saves work hours and time. Great visual website / landing page design so we don't have to constantly get help from Dev team or marketing.

EventsAir is incredibly user-friendly, even for someone new to the platform. I especially love how seamless the attendee management and reporting features are — it makes organizing events less stressful and more efficient. The dashboard is clean, intuitive, and packed with everything you need. It's saved me tons of time and helped me deliver more professional event experiences.

**What do you dislike about EventsAir?**

Honestly, the learning curve in the beginning can feel a little overwhelming because of the number of features. It would help to have more bite-sized tutorial videos built into the platform. That said, once you get the hang of it, it's smooth sailing.

**What problems is EventsAir solving and how is that benefiting you?**

EventsAir helps me manage all aspects of event planning in one place — from attendee registration and communication to reporting and scheduling. It’s made it easier to streamline my workflow, reduce manual tasks, and deliver professional experiences with fewer resources. It's also boosted collaboration across teams, especially during tight deadlines.

The flexibility in creating forms, letters, reports, apps, pretty much everything.

**What do you dislike about EventsAir?**

It's becoming increasingly expensive. We often get told that we must make a change to something more expensive, with no alternative. I don't like how we were practically forced to transition to AirWallex, for example.

The scientific aspect (program, abstract submission etc.) has received few to no updates in years.

**What problems is EventsAir solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Having an all-in-one program. No matter how demanding the client is, I can design EventsAIR forms and apps in a way that suits their requirements.

I like how Events Air allows you to have all aspects of your project in one product. It is great fundamentally and the response from the team when there are issues is great and timely.

It is still clunky in some respects and I think a bit more in terms of educating the user on what it can do needs to be improved and ore frequent.

It helps greatly with registration and communication with attendees.

Setup of online sites, reports and general use of the system is straightforward and anything not immediately evident in its application/use is readily explained by sales or support. Everyone works as a team to resolve issues and make the product outstanding.

Survey management and compilation of results leaves a lot to be desired - needs more options for exports - such as pie charts, etc directly from the results obtained section.

The software is incredibly easy to use with a vast range of features that make running any event incredibly smooth. The team at EventsAir have been so easy to work with and have provided great support throughout our implementation of the software.

Some of the features are a bit barebones and could use with a bit more development to bring up to date but overall they still work well and are mostly intuitive

We needed a tool that could manage the submission of abstracts and papers for our conference. The ability to also sell our booths and tickets on the same platform was the icing on the cake

Customer service is also quite quick and responsive

There seems to be a number of glitches in the latest updates

The customer service is wonderful. They are always so helpful. I also appreciate that they are always improving the product, with constant updates to make things more user friendly and functional.

New AI customer service feature is not very accurate. Lots of added fees after the initial yearly fee.

Organization, effective event registration, and now the updated Event App.

The financial reporting is difficult when using more than one currency and VAT.

EventsAir pay was a very positive new feature. Participants do not need to be directed to another page and can also use ApplePay and Google Pay

I like the flexibility and custom creation it provides

I wish there was a better way to give discounts for tickets. E.g. some purchases 1 function ticket for a dinner and another ticket for a lunch, they receive a 10% off. Rather then writing in a code.

EventsAir keeps track of our attendees, manages dietary requirements and helps up assign attendees to tables

**What do you like best about EventsAir?**

Since 2018, EventsAir has taken a Queensland school based literature festival (selling 10,000 tickets across 130 events over 2 days with 25 presenters/authors, annually since 1996) from a disorganised rabble into a professional event. We have utilised all features of Events Air, including On Air presentations across Australia during Covid times and beyond. We have been extremely happy with the product overall.

**What do you dislike about EventsAir?**

Overall we were very happy with the product and would recommend EventsAir to anyone considering event/festival/conference managment. As a school, the only disadvantage has been the pricing, but this has been totally understandable, due to the features that EventsAir presents.

**What problems is EventsAir solving and how is that benefiting you?**

EventsAir enabled us to have all aspects of the festival in one place, from the details about the presenters, to the details about the ticket purchasers, and then to the details about each of our 130 plus events ie location of each event, the requests of the presenter for each location, and the ticket holders, but also it provided a great way to organise travel and accommodation details and thus a full, detailed itinerary for each presenter. All information was covered, rather than a mismatch of Excel spreadsheets!

**What do you like best about EventsAir?**

For the most part it serves the purpose we sought - we can use it to manage our partnerships with over 200 organization as well as manage the accommodation, travel and all event logistics for everyone who attends, which includes staff from these partner companies, event participants, volunteers, etc.

The EventsAir support team is fantastic. They respond to my questions quickly with very clear - and sometimes ingenious - solutions to the challenges I have encountered.

**What do you dislike about EventsAir?**

For me, the biggest downside of EventsAir is the fact that all data is stored at the individual level. The concept of grouping people by company, and storing data at the company level, does not exist in this platform, which makes it very difficult for us to use it for the partnership management side of our work.

**What problems is EventsAir solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As I said earlier, in addition to Event Management and Registration, we also use it for Partnership Management. Our biggest annual event relies on financial and in-kind contributions from over 200 organizations. EventsAir is helping to keep a record of all of our agreements with these organizations (and their associated contractual obligations) in one place. By also being an Event Management platform, it is helping us to better coordinate all aspects of our event because now, everything associated with the event, from the contributions supplied in the background to the name badges created for the event participants, is done in one place.

One of the defining features of EventsAir that I like is that it is a one stop shop for all functional needs of our business and clients.

At the moment, the abstract submission process and the App needs upgrading.

EventsAir is our go to platform to assist our clients. It enables us to concentrate on the less commoditised elements of our service to our clients.

Overall the platform is very user-friendly to use and it is easy to navigate through platform. We really like how it has so many features which are required to implementation of online or offline Event. We use This products for almost most of our event from beginning to end registration, email notification, ateendee management. Coustomer support is Really good that helped us to solve queries.it integrate with other platforms really well.

**What do you dislike about EventsAir?**

We wish that it would keep registration that not completed. Ateendees can start where they left of because their details are in catch but we can't know if ateendees that didn't finish or possible face some trouble with form. Some time it takes too long to load screen.

Event helps to plan event online or offline easily. Made our registration and ticketing system smooth and easy to use for audience. They also helped us to response from audience

Extensive Features: EventsAir has almost all the required features and modules which any event requires. It covers all the steps from start to end of the event like registration, attendance, communications with the participants and thier reporting.

Althrough EventsAir is a great & complete platform for event management and I can't think of any dislike through. But yes there can be some improvements in custom reports and integrating it with our internal system.

Their registration questions can be a little limiting. One thing that always annoyed me was not being able to have certain questions appear depending on the answer to a previous question.

I like that the system offers support with all aspects of event planning - registrations, program, social functions, seating allocations, online platform and mobile app etc.

The online version of the platform is really not user-friendly - it's slow, hard to view on a browser (the colour scheme and display is really difficult to use).  The program set-up takes ages and needs to have a way to make this quicker and easier for event planners to use.  The app also could have a nicer design.

**What do you like best about EventsAir?**

The help support staff was kind and friendly.

**What do you dislike about EventsAir?**

Difficult to navigate a lot of the time; not very intuitive. Took a while to learn how to use the program. The registration websites which were available looked very dated; we weren't able to customize them very well. The text fields which display to the guest were not equipped with spell check. Also, trying to format the text on registration websites and inside email communications was a nightmare. Program would sporadically change the style or spacing of text with seemingly no rhyme or reason.

**Recommendations to others considering EventsAir:**

Really look through all the features and abilities to see if this program is a good fit for your needs. Make sure you really want to use this program over some of the other Event Management softwares on the market.

**What problems is EventsAir solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our organization used EventsAir to send emailed event invitations to guests, register attendees and communicate with attendees about our events. We hosted mostly one-night only events. Some multi-day events.

**What do you like best about EventsAir?**

They have a more modern interface (drag & drop), you can 'clone' almost anything which saves time. Love the way you can add "apps" to your event to manage various aspects like a "client portal" or "exhibitor portal." I like that they don't charge by the registration, rather for licensing the software. 

**What do you dislike about EventsAir?**

I'm unable to easily customize reports the way I'd like to. Granted, they have a lot of pre-built reports, but you do have to go through them to try and find something to match what data you want to display.

**Recommendations to others considering EventsAir:**

Definitely look into EventsAIR as your product solution.

**What problems is EventsAir solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Onsite event management is SO much easier with EventsAIR. Used EventsAIR for onsite registration, checkin, self checkin, scanning, portal management, badging, etc., etc., etc. All in one software platform, fully integrated so I didn't have to send Excel files back and forth.
