What do you like best?

Employers and Employees both find this system incredibly easy to use, and love the software format. I have had clients of more than 100 employees get introduced to the system completely remotely, and with no direct in-person (pre-COVID) meetings with employees. The enrollments went off without a hitch, and the voluntary product enrollments actually increased! Very impressive, intuitive and easy to use. It doesn't even matter if a certain carrier is not directly integrated [yet], the system fills out carrier forms during the employee enrollment process -AND puts the ACTUAL employee signature on the form, directly in the system without any other hardware needed; use whatever device can touch the modern internet.

Also, the friendly helpful support from the Ease mothership in Nevada is always a huge plus when I run into a situation that I cannot iron out myself (which is not often, this system is truly unique). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

Need more HR functionality to compete with other platforms like Rippling and PayEntry. I wish there were easier avenues for API connectivity with other HR Solutions and Payroll Vendors.

There really is no good solution for direct integration with payroll providers. ADP, Heartland, & Paylocity will eventually try to take your client's insurance business away from you in one way or another.

We need an open API format for regional payroll providers that use systems like Thomson Reuters. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Increased connectivity between employees, their employers, and the professionals that serve them. We help eliminate the need for PEOs, and drive mobile administration easily into the hands of the users.

Partnering with non-traditional organization types is much easier with Ease in your toolbox. This product and license structure can help you create revenue streams for not only yourself, but for other professionals that work directly with your same clients. Come together and prosper!

Not only can I service with more clients on my own with this product, I have created an easy open path for other professional in the industry to easily implement this program and introduce easier and more cost efficient ways of doing business with their current clients. What do you like best?

EASE is a great tool for my small and large groups. The online enrollment is pretty easy to follow. Our agency can offer this platform at no cost to all our clients. We are converting all our client with a group size of 10 and above. Ease customer service are helpful and knowledgeable. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

Not all carriers can integrate with EASE. These carriers are not ready to integrate with EASE. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

I recommend others to look into using EASE for their clients. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Using EASE allow minimal error in processing the enrollments. The few mistakes I find is not caused by EASE, but by the employee entering the wrong the information, such as SSN date of birth, or date of hire. The benefits I can get out of EASE is simple process of Open Enrollment and processing new hires. The enrollments can be submitted to the carriers using the census template opposed to submitted paper enrollment forms. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best?

Ease is a very user friendly sight. It is simple, yet effective. Employees love using the Ease portal more than other enrollment portals due to the fact that it is painless. I am constantly told that Ease is one of the most user friendly sites offered currently. The process of sending out open enrollment information and logins to employees is one of the best and most efficient that I have seen. It is also very easy to set up file feeds with out ancillary carriers and build the shells of medical plans for brokers and group admins to house the information. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

There are many rules that are hard coded into the system so it is not as customizable as some. Customizing things like dependent rules, plan structure, and so on can be more difficult than other sites. I have also been told there are certain things that the system just can not accommodate. I do also dislike the saving process in Ease as things do automatically save and there is no good way to backtrack or undo a mistake in Ease. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

Ease is one of the most user friendly options in the ben-admin space! Please highly consider this platform. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We administer all medical and ancillary lines for employers with mainly under 200 lives. I have built many plans in the Ease portal and have successfully been able to administer open enrollments for over 20+ groups this year. We have also been able to take Ease to many new brokers to offer them a simple open enrollment solution. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best?

Ease helps me bring that extra something to my clients. In this day and age of tech and streamlining benefits and the whole process of paperwork - ease helps take the headaches out of the equation. Employers can have the assurance that their benefits will be managed in a timely and accurate manner. Especially, in these uncertain times with the challenges in the work place due to Covid-19, ease helps to not have to shrink back from providing quality service to my clients. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

ease can be daunting in the installation process at first. Mapping of employee census to appropriate fields is complicated. Reports could be more simple - such as an easy to read benefit payroll deduction report that could be used with payroll vendors Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

ease may be overwhelming at first, but be patient and take the time to familiarize yourself with the features. Take the time to view the tutorials. Definitely create a 'sample' client. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

ease is solving the problem of enrolling and administering benefits virtually. ease is allowing the process to be seamless - if not better than doing enrollments in person. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best?

Ease has made it so easy to track benefits and get employees registered as well. I also really enjoy having all of the benefit documents readily available whenever you need it. Ease is extremely user friendly and offers great resources if you need help. My company is going to start looking into using Ease for the HR benefits it offers as well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

Honestly, there isn't a whole lot to dislike about this service. The only thing I would like to see changed is when you are accepting or denying coverage, is that you don't have to go to separate area to save. I would like to see it all on one. That is really my only dislike. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

Talk with your Insurance Broker. If they recommend or bring up using Ease, then I highly recommend you do. It is a wonderful resource to have! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

So far we have used Ease primarily for insurance. So getting employees signed up for their insurance has been very easy and like I mentioned above, user friendly. I have recently began looking into using the HR function with Ease. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best?

You can utilize different levels of their broad services and customize it for each client. For example, some of my clients don't integrate the payroll, but I just use Ease for employee benefits. These "a la carte" services make it much more flexible for my clients' needs. For the price, you can't beat the ease of Ease. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

A global rates paste function would be convenient. Having to enter the rates into each plan can be time consuming, but that's what cut and paste is for... Still, any way to streamline my workflow is always a boon, and a global paste function would make a difference. Honestly, there's not much to dislike! I find it very intuitive. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

Get the software. It's well worth the investment for the time you will save, and your business will increase because your clients will love the interface and be impressed by the fluidity and simplicity. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Incomplete information on employee applications is now a nonissue. That's a big time saver because people often don't fill out the forms correctly. I've spoken to many brokers, and incorrect application completion is one of the biggest pet peeves. Since an employee can't advance without completing every field, I never have to take the time to go back and ask for more information. So useful! Also, the auto fill features save me a ton of time. I don't have to squint to try and decipher what someone's scrawling handwriting says. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best?

As a HR Manager that works remotely, it is so convenient to use. I can even operate it on my phone, so I'm only one click away from access when traveling. Open Enrollment has become a breeze once we started using Ease. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

One of our vendors for supplemental insurance isn't compatible with the Ease program. We are now looking into other vendors to supply comparable benefits that can support the Ease platform. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Great way to go if you want a simple online program when making your open enrollment decisions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We were having issues with getting our employees off the invoices for benefits as they were terminated. With a quit click on Ease, an employe is terminated, and our broker immediately notifies the vendor for removal. No more unbalanced invoices. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best?

This platform simplifies the entire benefits process from original enrollment through any changes and also annual open enrollment. It also eliminates all the multiple paper applications that need completed, tracked, filed and maintained. Another great perk- It puts control into the employees hands and simplifies the process of benefits applications to a much more streamlined process. They also have direct access to all the information regarding their benefits coverage where in the past they come to HR and we would spend time providing all the info. and as the icing on the cake. The tracking and reports for HR/Payroll are super easy and oh so helpful! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

I cannot say there is an downside that I have found. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best?

I love the online enrollment system for enrolling new employees in their benefits. Additionally, the open enrollment system is a great way to streamline the annual process of renewing employee benefits. I really appreciate how the EaseCentral team is always trying to introduce new features and integrations to make the system even more useful and user friendly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

I have had very few problems with Easecentral, but there have been a few times where the system malfunctioned and re-enrolled an employee who had been termed or didn't send through the carrier integration file correctly. The support team is not always very prompt at resolving the issues, and I would prefer to be able to reach the support team via phone rather than always having to submit a support ticket. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

Definitely at least give it a try, The increasing amount of carriers that are integrated makes it less work to process an enrollment. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We primarily use the new hire enrollment and open enrollment features for managing our clients employee benefits. Additionally our clients really enjoy the ACA reporting features. We also really like the EaseConnect and EaseConnect+ features for integrating with some of the carriers we work with and look forward to seeing more and more integrated carriers. What do you like best?

One spot to see all the available information and everyting that needs to be completed for enrollment. It's also great to know I can login to Ease to see an employee's current elections if one of them has a problem. I don't have to filter through all the saved, older information in my files. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

Not always clear if something has been saved after hitting the save button. It leaves a little room for doubt during the process. That's a pretty small complaint though, all things considered. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

There's no more wondering whether an employee has started their enrollment process. You can just log in and see how many employees have started, how many have completed, and how many haven't yet begun the process. It's easier to track who needs help or a nudge to get his/her/thier enrollment completed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best?

I am the admin for our benefits. The employees are easily able to log into EASE and select their benefits. It's easy for me to go into the system, see their elections and transfer those choices into the benefit vendors. I did not hear any complaints from the employees which is always a bonus. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

I feel like the welcome email system could be a little upgraded. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We were doing enrollment into insurance via paper forms when new employees were onboarding outside of open enrollment. It was a struggle for some employees to be able to print out the benefit forms and then it wasn't always easy to get that paperwork back. With EASE, everything is automated. What do you like best?

It's very user friendly. The carrier connections save us a lot of time on the back end. Ease makes it very easy to manage all of our groups in one place. The support staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. Employee feedback after enrollment is nice. The report options plus the ability to create custom reports is something we use on a daily basis. The ease emails that teach groups how to run reports should be very helpful, as well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

Form mapping can be frustrating sometimes. Hold times on the phone can be upwards of 45 minutes. There are several open tickets and questions in support that have been open for years. It seems that they are not being addressed. Test employees are annoying. I don't see the point. It is easier for us to add a fake employee and then delete them, but we have to make them a test employee if we have to call in. It just seems like unnecessary extra steps. I understand that 2 factor authentication is necessary, but I hate it. Finding my phone when I'm in the middle of something is a distraction. It would be nice if the new forms were added with renewal plans. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

Utilize the Ease sales materials to convince clients to begin using Ease. Even non tech savvy companies tend to see the benefit once they use it. Integrate with as many carriers as you can. Call in versus submitting a support ticket. The support staff on the phone is efficient and friendly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

It helps a lot with managing adds and terms. We have far fewer errors on applications. Being able to track logins and opened emails helps when employees complain about not getting logins when they really did. Confirming info is convenient when issues come up down the road. What do you like best?

Ease has definitely organized my business and reduced my paper overload. Most of the employer groups and employees have been onboard with doing electronic enrollment. There are a few hold outs who like the old fashion way of enrolling into benefits. Even though some do not use the electronic enrollment, I have (after the fact of paper enrollment), entered the enrollment into ease and it has improved our tracking of business in general.

I'm still learning, but it will definitely allow me to grow my busy and keep my competitive edge. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

Sometimes a system tries to make the process so simple it over steps the purpose. The process tries to solve every problem and in the process becomes so complex that much of my time is spent in training or looking up helps to make the program do what you want it to do. This is more of a problem for those of us who have been in the insurance business for a number of years. Ease is one of the most intuitive systems I have used. I just want to keep it simple enough to keep me in the insurance business not the programing business. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

It allows me to do more sales without traveling to the clients physical address all the time. So my sales area can expand without eating up my time and miles on my car.

As more employees become familiar with the system, the more comfortable they are to make decisions quickly and on their own. I'm no longer physically chasing forms and signatures from the procrastinators. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best?

I started to "evolve" my business in 2018. I had already invested in ease but as part of that 'evolution' I began focusing solely on employer services and had other members of my team handle individual and medicare. Now I have grown the business over 150% each year for the past two years, this would not have been possible without using ease practically exclusively. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

Sometimes the updates are overwhelming and hard to keep up with. It is difficult to learn about all the enhancements and best practices. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

While this can be a big step for an agency, investment in becoming digital is essential. Growth will happen as your employers will be more loyal and able to grow themselves. Jump in don't wait! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best?

My favorite thing about Ease is how simple it is. It is very user friendly, and most of my clients have no issues with it at all. Also, my clients love how it makes them look good to their current employees, candidatures, and new hires. I also like the look of the platform, it is very clean/modern. It is not overwhelming to the employee and have useless information. Plus i can decide what is shown to what groups, etc. It makes it more personalized. Also, LOVE HOW EASY IT IS TO FOLLOW WHO HAS LOGGED IN AND WHO W Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

My least favorite thing about Ease is the "To-Do" Daily changes - it could be cleaned up and simpler. It shouldn't show O.E changes in the same category. It is should also show if something is signed, and or done by admin. Something just needs to be done to make it more organized, and not have repeats on there, etc. Also, customer service should be a little faster when fixing an issue and or replying. A ticket number does not justify as a response time in my option, so that is something that definitely needs improvement in my option for Ease to be better against some competitors. Would also love a dedicated account manager for questions. Last item would be changes after O.E. There needs to be a simpler and easier report to run after that sums it all up without any questions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

do it!!!!!!!!!!!!!! it is worth it and amazing! Your clients will LOVE IT! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

online boarding is simple for all my clients, and those that need it, can use for onboarding too. It really is "EaseY" and that is why I use it for all my clients. Also, we pay for it for our clients, and they love they do not have any added costs. Also, being able to manage all my clients within one data base is huge. Watching to O.E progress, who is in O.E, pulling reports, managing changes, etc. It is all fantastic. I appreciate the effort that is put in to all the little details to make like for employees, admins, brokers, agencies all easier. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best?

Ease has enabled our agency to become almost entirely paperless. Its reasonably easy to use for brokers, clients and their employees. Employers love not having to load up every employee with paperwork and employees enjoy being able to see what their benefits are going to cost them in real time, so that they can make smarter decisions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

Some features that could easily be included are not in order to make certain premium integrations more appealing. I get it, but it annoys me at times. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

Making the decision to change the way you do business is a hard one, and transitioning an entire book of business over to a new system will come with growing pains but the people and software designers over at EASE are top notch and most importantly they respect and enhance the broker-client relationship as opposed to trying to wedge their way in as some other partners/vendors try to do. Its worth your time in the long run. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best?

The system is Easy to use and maneuver. Feedback for new hires and during open enrollment time, the employees are surprised at how easy it is to complete their enrollment / waivers. This system is my life line to most of our groups with easy access to benefits, their personal information etc. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

When there are 2 renewal dates for different carriers, the system doesnt show the carriers ate the same time. The employees have to log in 2 times to waive or enroll for each carrier offered. Due to this I have to create the group twice in the Ease system which is tedious Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Ease has lived up to it's name and we have had a lot of success placing our clients on the Ease Platform. Ease enables companies to manage their human resources, benefits administration and compliance. We have also been able to take customer service to a whole new level and cater to the needs of our clients like never before. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

There is some difficulties dealing and communicating with Ease when there are issues. Some of the integrations have not been perfected, such as the AFLAC integration, and difficulties with other carrier integrations. This can leave a bad taste in our clients mouth as it is not as seamless as it should be. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Our clients are starting to really utilize the onboarding experience with Ease and Ease makes a busy open enrollment period a lot less stressful. What do you like best?

I like the ease of the set-up for the broker and the convenience for the user. Going paperless is such a huge advantage, especially with many employees now working remotely from home. It's also nice for employees to have access to review their elections and benefits and at anytime. Renewals are a breeze and I love that employees can see current costs compared to renewal options. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

It seems like they make changes to the platform regularly. I know it is to improve the system, etc., but sometimes it takes a bit to get used to, or figuring out. One thing I would like to recommend to Ease--since all the benefit information in Ease is accurate, it would be nice to be able to print SPD's via the site, as well as the annual Medicare Part D notices. It would also be nice if you could customize create a benefits guide as well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

I would highly recommend! Great platform for both clients and broker. Its an easy access point for enrollments, documents, onboarding and HR administration. Using Ease for group renewals is also a time saver and very efficient. Our clients have had very positive feedback from their employees. They especially like the reports available to them. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

The Ease platform makes enrollment very easy for both member and group administrator/broker. One feature I really like is having all the SBC's, important ERISA Notices and all other documents available to the members. The "mandatory" review is also a nice feature for ACA, DOI and DOL compliance. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

Recommendations to others considering the product:

If you're going to make Ease a part of your broker-support system, then be sure to dedicate a team or employee to the use. If this is a tool in addition to your staffs other duties, then Ease will either be a burden to your staff or it will be unsatisfactory to your clients. This is not a "set it and forget it" tool. It does not manage itself. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

We enjoy collaborating on the Ease site with our insurance broker to streamline the open enrollment process for our employees. We have made our open enrollment process automated and paperless. It is easy for employees to use and for benefits administrators to check in on the status, remind employees, and download reports to update our payroll software. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best?

It is very easy to navigate. For some of my staff that are not technically inclined find it easy to navigate. Which saves me a lot of time. Our broker uploads our updated plan offerings, so I don't have to do anything to prepare for our "Open Enrollment". I also like the feature that sends an email welcoming the staff for Open Enrollment. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

Nothing comes to mind. It is working very well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Ease allows me to reduce the number of in person Open Enrollment meetings. There is the added benefit for staff to review anytime that fits their schedule. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best?

I really like how user friendly EASE is and that the system seems to be fairly intuitive. I do feel like it's an easy program for our employees to use and that information and materials can be loaded so that it's easily accessible and for our end users. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

Does not communicate with our HRIS system or with carrier portals. Currently there are only 4 systems that EASE interacts with and from an administrators standpoint, I feel that's very limited. It would make my jib so much easier if it had an EDI feed that would communicate with the carriers and could share data with my payroll system so I wouldn't have to update all of these independantly. Recommendations to others considering the product:

Give it a try - it's way better than paper enrollment and management! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Our employees can access the materials and plan documents in an electronic environment, remotely and are able to easily see all their options and the financial impact of their choices. We've saved so much time with not having to fill out paper forms or struggle to read handwriting or struggle with lost forms! And, our reporting capabilities are so much better with EASE. It has definitely streamlines the process and saved us time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
