"Product People That Give a Genuine Shit"

What do you like best?

I love the value-add solution at the core of this product. The contact details gate and the analytics into every step of the user behavior cycle is so valuable for people using Powerpoints to sell or pitch their products or services. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

Nothing really. One wish would be more themes for the display; an example would be the background by default is dark/black and so are the slides on one of my decks so it blends in almost a bit too much. But it's early in this products lifecycle, so this is not really a gripe :) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Collecting data on who is willing to give contact info to access my sales deck and then detailed user info on which slides they're viewing and how long they're spending on each. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"What's missing is learning from the Smarter SaaS business models"

What do you like best?

It is web-based SaaS viewable on any platform Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

1. Why not inhibit screen-captures or make them more difficult to share ? - that's a minimum requirement.

Available from other platforms like Adobe Cloud without additional cost.

This is available in the base platform. e.g. Safari and iPhone iOS can prevent pictures of payment information, or prevent them from being included in other documents.

2. It's too easy for someone to use a fake email, and too hard to personalize passwords per person within recipient company. This defeats the ability to track who exactly is opening the document within a recipient company.

Instead, propose : Enable access based on any validated email account, within a domain, without password. i.e. send recipient the descend link, recipient enters email into the given docsend link, an email is sent to that email account with second link. If the click on the

This is what Salesforce, Survey Monkey and many others do.

4. Since Docsend has failed to match the abilities of Adobe Cloud in preventing copy of content, it should at least Automatically add watermarking to ensure taken content can be tracked to the source.

5. Some items that could be useful require the more expensive package - why not make NDA option for base package users as an add on ?

6. Enable and enhance the viewing of certain revisions. Upload one document, but enhancements only visible to certain enabled or new recipients. This allows continuous revisions without having to split releases into separate documents. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
