All-encompassing program for increasing efficiency. **Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars **Reviewed by:** Verified User in Research | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.) **Reviewed Date:** April 23, 2022 **What do you like best about Configurator?** I can appreciate that it is a one-stop service, that a workflow from start-to-finish can be implemented through the program. It allows for a pooling of resources reserved for several programs into one program that can handle all aspects of our business. **What do you dislike about Configurator?** I wish it was a little more user-friendly. It's not as intuitive as I would hope it would be. The menus and button workflows could use a little updating and quality control to make sure that they are most efficient in their steps. **What problems is Configurator solving and how is that benefiting you?** It allowed for a combining of what a few programs would do into one program that handled those tasks. That allowed for more efficient use of funds and time where we didn't need those other programs to help us be successful. ### 2. I normally used it for my research, and my research were related to design and simulation. Some softwares are very hard to use because it has many functions and difficult interface to learn. However, this this software has very simple interface easily access all the functions. Even though I do have experiences for few function of this software, the functions I used were very easy to use and convenient. **What do you dislike about Configurator?** Some functions are not very useful to use. I only used few functions because others are not very useful in my research. In addition, in some reason, I could not install in Mac. I spent a lot time to solve this issue but it was hard to figure it out. Some functions I used in this software was not very satisfied because it was not fully covered my design. So wish some of functions are needed to improve for better function. **Recommendations to others considering Configurator:** I recommend this software which is very convenient to use for design and configuration process. **What problems is Configurator solving and how is that benefiting you?** It is easy and simple to design, so always can work fast. My biomedical engineering research needed to design some organs to simulate them. I used many softwares to design but others were very complicated for use and their interfaces were difficult to learn quickly. Configurator software was so easy system to learn quickly and there are many good functions to apply with easy. I solved many problems with this software in my research topics. ### 3. Configuring products, calculating pricing, sending quotes to customers, securing an order, and generating engineering documents are all done much quicker and easier. **What do you dislike about Configurator?** I feel like Configurator could add more of a personal touch for certain situations. Successfully implementing a new business system takes more than the right hardware and software. It takes people. They do an "ok" job but could do better. **Recommendations to others considering Configurator:** DO IT! Configurations utilize a variety of rules and logic to intelligently guide users through the configuration process. It provides seamless CPQ integration for Salesforce while also leveraging the power of Configure One’s configurations, quotes, and pricing features for Salesforce CRM. **What problems is Configurator solving and how is that benefiting you?** Configurator has allowed me to be completely self-sufficient at implementing and maintaining my CPQ application. Configurator does well to provide in-depth, standard and custom training. Configurator's Administrator and Super User training curriculum combine formal classroom learning and informal, subject-specific mentoring. ### 4.
