What do you like best about CloudM?

We had a consistently smooth experience working with CloudM on our migration. From planning through execution, the process felt well‑organized and hassle‑free. The platform was intuitive to use, and the team’s guidance made each phase clear and predictable.

What stood out most was the caliber of the people we worked with. CloudM’s resources were knowledgeable, responsive, and genuinely easy to collaborate with. They anticipated questions, provided practical recommendations, and were quick to unblock issues, which kept momentum high and reduced stress for our stakeholders.

Technically, the migration met our expectations: data integrity was preserved, timelines were honored, and disruption to users was minimal. Post‑migration support was equally strong, CloudM helped us validate outcomes, share best practices, and ensure a confident handover.

What do you dislike about CloudM?

Overall, the experience was excellent, and there were very few issues. If I had to mention one area for improvement, it would be adding more real-time progress visibility during migration. What do you like best about CloudM?

Easy to kickoff the data migration with meaningful configuration and steps.

Delta migration feature is awesome so we can achieve the migration with increment way as well.

Also, with small set of users migration can have hosted version with multiple bug fix since its SaaS based its looks awesome and detailed also we can kickoff all the migration parallel like for Email and drive and the calendar and contacts at last when we run final delta.

They have recently released a new versions of CloudM for hosted and selfhosted with so many changes which really meaningful and serves all the things. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about CloudM?

Nothing much but when i ran so many migrations via hosted version even if i enabled option "Create migration report" but it looks like we have to chat with CloudM team every time to just have that file link mapping report post migration.

Also, what i noticed is specifically on hosted version, when i ran 2-3 batches all together they gave me an error like "Migration failed unexpected error" without any clue which is weird and i know sometimes they said you cant run too many batches at a time since its hosted version means its shared pool. But this is difficult to troubleshoot that type of error as we dont have logs files nothing since it because of cloudm hosted version. Expecting detailed logging and error message on hosted version as well just like self hosted. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about CloudM?

There's so many reasons to love CloudM:

1. The team itself - so responsive, so supportive, they're just incredibly helpful in both the setup process and the ongoing management of the account.

2. Once you're in the product, it's incredibly DIY, which means you can just crack on with things. I really appreciate that.

3. The management of the e-signatures is incredibly easy. And yes, it's really flexible. I'm a marketer, so it's a really handy tool for marketers, especially when you're updating e-signatures based on regular campaigns and campaign changes, or want to set signatures for different teams as well. What do you dislike about CloudM?

There are some actions that I'd love to be able to do in bulk:

- Updating a single field across all users with a specific field value. That would be the main one, which is a small, nuanced need. Not necessarily something that they have to resolve, but it would just be helpful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about CloudM?

CloudM has truly become the industry standard for cloud migrations, and it's easy to see why. One of the biggest game-changers for us has been the hosted solution, which makes setup an absolute breeze – no complicated infrastructure to manage on our end.

Beyond the powerful tool itself, the support team is exceptionally responsive, always quick to provide clear, helpful answers to our questions. This level of support is invaluable.

When utilizing CloudM's services, they genuinely handle all the backend work, which significantly reduces our team's burden. We particularly appreciate their proactive communication; they consistently keep us up to date as the migration progresses, providing peace of mind. Furthermore, the dashboard they provide when using their services offers fantastic visibility, allowing us to see exactly how the migration is unfolding in real-time. What do you dislike about CloudM?

As CloudM is based in the UK, coordinating with their team can sometimes present a slight challenge due to the time difference with our US hours. There are occasions where their working day might end while we're still in ours, making immediate engagement difficult.

However, it's important to note that this doesn't happen very often, and for the vast majority of interactions, their responsiveness and helpfulness still shine through. "CloudM... making complicated migrations incredibly simple!"
What do you like best about CloudM?

CloudM has been a game changer in simplifying our acquisitions of other companies. So far we have acquired 2 other companies, that were both running Google Workspace environments, and thanks to the simple and intuitive configuration of CloudM, we are able to carry out migrations of data (drive, emails, calendar events etc) reliably and efficiently. What do you dislike about CloudM?

To be honest, I have very few negative things to say about CloudM, and the negative things that I can say, mainly relate to limitations from Google Workspace's API's... because of some API migration limitations, certain things from other Google Workspaces cannot be migrated... however, even when challenges like this are faced, CloudM has clear documentation to make it very clear what the "watchpoints" are that you have to be careful of. CloudM was the first migration software that my team had used and we were all thoroughly impressed with the product from the start with the sales team helping us get the right quote to the support engineer to helped double checked everything was set up correctly before we began our migration. What do you like best about CloudM?

We used CloudM to migrate Outlook & OneDrive between tenants, once it has started and in the later migrations you could just leave it, keeping an eye on the progress. What do you dislike about CloudM?

Near the start we had teething issues where it would get stuck so we had to stop and start the migrations with the support of ClouldM. My biggest issue with CloudM is the speed, it takes quite a while to migrate data. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about CloudM?

Great software platform that works well for data migration. The CloudM team was very professional and patient with us. Our migration was the result of an organizational split with complications involving administrative access. What do you dislike about CloudM?

Not being an IT person, some of the initial set up recommend to do on our own is too technical. The directions/tutorials are comprehensive, but having little experience with migrating data, it is still challenging to follow. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
