With a focus on automation and efficiency, CloudM provides a suite of tools that cater to the specific needs of organizations transitioning to cloud platforms like Google Workspace and Microsoft 365. By streamlining data management processes, CloudM enables teams to focus on strategic initiatives rather than manual tasks. The CloudM suite includes several key products, each tailored to address different aspects of data management. CloudM Migrate facilitates rapid and secure data migrations from over 20 source platforms, ensuring that emails, contacts, calendars, and files are transferred with minimal disruption. Its scalable performance and flexible deployment options make it suitable for organizations of all sizes, while pre-migration environment scans help identify potential issues before the migration process begins. This capability is particularly beneficial for businesses looking to transition to cloud services without the risk of data loss or downtime. In addition to migration, CloudM Automate addresses the need for efficiency in data management by automating repetitive tasks such as onboarding and offboarding employees. With over 30 customizable automated steps, organizations can set up workflows that run in the background, significantly reducing the time spent on manual processes. This feature not only enhances productivity but also ensures compliance with organizational policies, making it an essential tool for IT departments managing large teams. CloudM Backup and CloudM Archive further enhance data security and cost management. CloudM Backup protects Google Workspace data from accidental deletions and cyber threats, offering advanced restoration features that bolster data resilience. Meanwhile, CloudM Archive helps organizations manage their data retention policies and reduce licensing costs by automating license reassignment and applying tailored retention strategies. This dual approach to data protection and cost efficiency is crucial for organizations looking to maintain compliance while optimizing their cloud expenditures. Lastly, CloudM Email Signatures simplifies the process of creating and deploying email signatures across departments. By automating this task, organizations can ensure consistency in branding and communication while streamlining the onboarding process for new employees. With a commitment to security, proven reliability, and comprehensive support, CloudM stands out as a trusted partner for organizations navigating the complexities of cloud data management.

## CloudM Reviews
  ### 1. Excellent Onboarding and Support with an Easy, Efficient Setup

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tom M. | Information Technology Operations Specialist, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 11, 2026

**What do you like best about CloudM?**

The onboarding and support are excellent. It was very easy to set up, and the data migration was efficient and straightforward.

**What do you dislike about CloudM?**

The 500k item limit wasn’t flagged at the start of the project, which meant we had to go through a lengthy file restructuring process. We also experienced a server outage over one of the weekends, which put our launch window at risk. Clearer communication upfront about Google API limits would have been appreciated so we could have planned accordingly and mitigated these issues in advance.

**What problems is CloudM solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We needed to migrate a newly onboarded organisation from Microsoft 365 to Google Workspace—including email, calendars, shared drives, and distribution groups—without disrupting day-to-day operations. CloudM provided both the tooling and the project management needed to deliver this, managing the bulk and delta migrations across multiple domains and around 150 users. The biggest benefit was having a structured, well-managed process for what would otherwise have been an extremely complex, manual undertaking.

  ### 2. Solid Tool for E-Mail Migration

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** William B. | Director of Technology, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 14, 2026

**What do you like best about CloudM?**

The functionality and knowledge base are both solid and effective.

Once the initial setup was complete, things proceeded relatively smoothly for a project of this size.

**What do you dislike about CloudM?**

The sales process left a bit to be desired. The limits of the consultation period were not very explicit, and we ended up executing virtually the entire project on our own, as we were saving our hours for support on the final transition.

That support was, however, outside of scope, despite what the sales team had intimated, and, as such, we wasted most of the money spent on support hours.

I have not completed a project like this in the past, but without a relevant comparison, the transfer speeds all-around seemed very slow, and it caused our relatively minor project to take several weeks rather than several days once we were ready to proceed. The speed also proved to be a limiting factor on the overall timespan of email we were confident in moving.

**What problems is CloudM solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We used CloudM to transfer email data from a 2019 Exchange Server to the Google Workspace environment.

It's not really an ongoing solution, but it bridged us from one point to where we are now.

**Official Response from Lana Ginns:**

> Hi William, thank you for taking the time to review your experience with CloudM. I have shared your feedback with the relevant teams internally.

  ### 3. Flawless Offboarding Automation with Clear ROI and an Intuitive UI

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Newspapers | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 07, 2026

**What do you like best about CloudM?**

The off-boarding and automation features seem to work flawlessly, saving a lot of time and reducing Google Vault costs.

The UI is easy to understand, and it was straightforward to integrate with Google for user management.

Overall, the product is intuitive, easy to use, and performs well. Support is okay, but it’s definitely where CloudM falls short.

There’s a clear ROI based on the time saved compared to manual processes. The AI capabilities are very limited, which I actually appreciate from a compliance standpoint since it means fewer hoops to jump through.

**What do you dislike about CloudM?**

There is not many downsides, the email signature portion is fairly difficult to set up and as previously mentioned support could be better compared to other vendors but otherwise not much to dislike.

**What problems is CloudM solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Offboarding multiple accounts in an easy, automated manner.

**Official Response from Lana Ginns:**

> Thank you very much for taking the time to share your experience with CloudM. We're glad to hear you're getting a clear return on investment.

We'd love to hear how we can improve your support experience. Please could you reach out to customer success (customer.success@cloudm.io) to share specifics?

  ### 4. Enterprise-Grade Migrations Backed by a Highly Knowledgeable Technical Team

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dan M. | Senior Systems Administrator, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 17, 2026

**What do you like best about CloudM?**

One of the biggest strengths is the technical team. When you get in touch with them, they’re highly knowledgeable, understand complex environments, and communicate clearly throughout the migration process. That level of expertise makes a big difference when you’re working at enterprise scale and need confidence that data is being handled correctly.

The platform itself is solid for migrations, and it’s something we’ve trusted more than once for large-scale changes.

**What do you dislike about CloudM?**

On the downside, the path to getting to that technical expertise can sometimes be slower than expected. There’s often a bit of back-and-forth through sales conversations before reaching someone technical, which can feel unnecessary when you’re already familiar with the product and know exactly what you need.

**What problems is CloudM solving and how is that benefiting you?**

CloudM is solving the challenge of performing large-scale, complex Google Workspace migrations in a controlled and reliable way. Without a tool like this, migrations would be far more manual, time-consuming, and risky, especially at an enterprise level where you’re dealing with significant volumes of user data and tight timelines.

It also helps standardize and streamline the migration process, which reduces the likelihood of errors and ensures consistency across projects. The visibility into migration progress and outcomes gives us confidence that data is being transferred correctly, which is critical when managing business-critical information.

The biggest benefit for us has been efficiency and risk reduction. We’re able to complete migrations faster, with less manual intervention, and with greater assurance that users experience minimal disruption. This has made it much easier to support organizational changes and onboarding at scale.

**Official Response from Lana Ginns:**

> Hi Dan, thank you so much for your thorough review which not only enables us improve your experience of our product and services in the future, but also helps other people discover CloudM.

  ### 5. Easy to Configure, Scalable, and Fast for Migrations

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Juan Carlos L. | Digital Workplace Core Engineer, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 16, 2026

**What do you like best about CloudM?**

Easy to configure, with good scalability and fast migration speed.

**What do you dislike about CloudM?**

Links to documents in GDocs aren’t updated automatically. At the moment, the only available option is to record the mapping links in a DB.

**What problems is CloudM solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Linked for embedded document updates.

The environment scan doesn’t break the “file reports” down into different files by user or by Shared Drive. Instead, you only get one big file, which is sometimes unmanageable.

**Official Response from Lana Ginns:**

> Thank you so much for taking the time to review your experience with CloudM, Juan Carlos!

  ### 6. Seamless Migration Experience with Outstanding Support

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Vinay K. | Senior Systems Engineer, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 05, 2026

**What do you like best about CloudM?**

We had a consistently smooth experience working with CloudM on our migration. From planning through execution, the process felt well‑organized and hassle‑free. The platform was intuitive to use, and the team’s guidance made each phase clear and predictable.

What stood out most was the caliber of the people we worked with. CloudM’s resources were knowledgeable, responsive, and genuinely easy to collaborate with. They anticipated questions, provided practical recommendations, and were quick to unblock issues, which kept momentum high and reduced stress for our stakeholders.

Technically, the migration met our expectations: data integrity was preserved, timelines were honored, and disruption to users was minimal. Post‑migration support was equally strong, CloudM helped us validate outcomes, share best practices, and ensure a confident handover.

Overall, it was a great experience. We’d happily partner with CloudM again and recommend them to teams looking for a reliable, well‑supported migration.

**What do you dislike about CloudM?**

Overall, the experience was excellent, and there were very few issues. If I had to mention one area for improvement, it would be adding more real-time progress visibility during migration. While the process was smooth, having more detailed dashboards or alerts could make it even better for tracking and reassurance.

**What problems is CloudM solving and how is that benefiting you?**

CloudM solves the challenge of migrating large volumes of data and user accounts from legacy systems to modern platforms without disruption. It eliminates manual effort and complexity by automating the migration process, ensuring data integrity and compliance throughout.

**Official Response from Lana Ginns:**

> Hi Vinay, thank you so much for taking the time to leave such a detailed and helpful review. We're looking forward to working with you again in the future!

  ### 7. Demystify CloudM

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rohan Y. | Work Transformation Engineer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 03, 2025

**What do you like best about CloudM?**

Easy to kickoff the data migration with meaningful configuration and steps.

Delta migration feature is awesome so we can achieve the migration with increment way as well.

Also, with small set of users migration can have hosted version with multiple bug fix since its SaaS based its looks awesome and detailed also we can kickoff all the migration parallel like for Email and drive and the calendar and contacts at last when we run final delta.

They have recently released a new versions of CloudM for hosted and selfhosted with so many changes which really meaningful and serves all the things.

**What do you dislike about CloudM?**

Nothing much but when i ran so many migrations via hosted version even if i enabled option "Create migration report" but it looks like we have to chat with CloudM team every time to just have that file link mapping report post migration.

Also, what i noticed is specifically on hosted version, when i ran 2-3 batches all together they gave me an error like "Migration failed unexpected error" without any clue which is weird and i know sometimes they said you cant run too many batches at a time since its hosted version means its shared pool. But this is difficult to troubleshoot that type of error as we dont have logs files nothing since it because of cloudm hosted version. Expecting detailed logging and error message on hosted version as well just like self hosted.

**What problems is CloudM solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Honestly i explored a lot of tools for migration like Movebot, Bittitan, CloudFuze, Cloudiway but CloudM is great because of migration success rate.

Why, because we easy migrated even TBs or PTs of date with a great speed since for larger migration we used cloudm selfhosted to make client server combo and run the migration.

- Their logging system
- Their look and fill or cloudm configuration screen
- Easy to setup honestly
- Detailed KBs using which we can come to know steps to configure, also we can share the limitation, pros/cons, what migrate and what not using cloudm everything we can share it to customer to better migration
- Post migration we can have address mapping so we can easily find migrated new URLs which helps better to address issues

**Official Response from Lana Ginns:**

> Thank you for your review, Rohan! I will share your feedback with my colleagues in the Product team. Thanks again for taking the time to share such a detailed review.

  ### 8. Easy e-signatures for teams of all sizes.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tom H. | Product Marketing Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 04, 2025

**What do you like best about CloudM?**

There's so many reasons to love CloudM:

1. The team itself - so responsive, so supportive, they're just incredibly helpful in both the setup process and the ongoing management of the account.

2. Once you're in the product, it's incredibly DIY, which means you can just crack on with things. I really appreciate that.

3. The management of the e-signatures is incredibly easy. And yes, it's really flexible. I'm a marketer, so it's a really handy tool for marketers, especially when you're updating e-signatures based on regular campaigns and campaign changes, or want to set signatures for different teams as well.

**What do you dislike about CloudM?**

There are some actions that I'd love to be able to do in bulk:
- Updating a single field across all users with a specific field value. That would be the main one, which is a small, nuanced need. Not necessarily something that they have to resolve, but it would just be helpful.

**What problems is CloudM solving and how is that benefiting you?**

CloudM gives us a really easy way to manage e-signatures for all the different employees across our organization. It helps us really easily update e-signatures and even pre-schedule these signature changes so that we can support new marketing campaigns get everything set up in advance. That's the primary use case. It also helps us structure the users so that we know the right teams are getting the right e-signatures as well.

**Official Response from Lana Ginns:**

> Thank you for your review, Tom! Great to hear a fellow marketer love our email signatures tool! I've shared your feature request with our product team for consideration. Thanks again!

  ### 9. Robust Automated Migration That Handles Complex Data with Ease

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 08, 2026

**What do you like best about CloudM?**

The automated migration process is incredibly robust. It handles complex data—like calendars, archive folders, and permissions—with very little manual intervention compared to native tools.

**What do you dislike about CloudM?**

The initial setup and configuration can be quite complex. There is a steep learning curve for new users to understand the full breadth of the settings, and the interface can feel a bit overwhelming at first.

**What problems is CloudM solving and how is that benefiting you?**

CloudM solves the massive complexity of cross-platform migrations. For me, the benefit is peace of mind; I know that permissions, calendar metadata, and folder structures will remain intact, which prevents post-migration support tickets and keeps our employees productive.

  ### 10. Attractive Pricing and Potential, But Project Delays from Resource Gaps

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Broadcast Media | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 05, 2026

**What do you like best about CloudM?**

The promise of their capabilities and pricing is very attractive.

**What do you dislike about CloudM?**

They were not good about resource management during the project - between European holidays and personal time off for key resources, our project was delayed significantly.

**What problems is CloudM solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We hired them to affect a transition of Microsoft 365 accounts to our Google Workspace for a carve-out acquisition.
