"Review of CIENCE Lead Generation"

Describe the project or task the provider helped with:

We hired CIENCE to generate leads for us by compiling a targeted prospect database and emailing those prospects serially to set up an introductory call, nurture leads, and also to support the company’s email marketing efforts.

What do you like best?

The CIENCE team is a pleasure to work with. All members of the team are enthusiastic about the work and helpful in finding solutions to new challenges or problems. Even though they were working in Europe they worked on EST, which made calls and meetings much easier to schedule. They also were very flexible if a call needed to be rescheduled due to holidays or other conflicts.

What do you dislike?

The process of creating landing pages takes too long, and needs closer attention to direction provided by the client. The first few months we weren't using the "Best Contact" approach - and we were not seeing much success at all. It seems odd to me that they didn't start us with the Best Contact approach, since this had been proving to be successful with other clients. Additionally, what was difficult was to qualify a prospect on budget.

Recommendations to others considering the provider:

Establish clear performance metrics up front, e.g. prospect calls/week, new prospects/week, emails/week. Alter campaign tactics sooner if current tactics aren’t producing results.

"Outbound Sales Team Augmentation"

Cience provided an outbound sales solution for Reputation X consisting of a Sales Development Rep, Researchers, and Project Managers. They manage the outbound sales program end-to-end.

What do you like best?

The people are great. Management is responsive. Cience is a data-driven so results are objective and measurable.

What do you dislike?

Like any outside team there are the usual gaps in communication nuance that, had the team been in-house, would have been dealt with at the water cooler.

Recommendations to others considering the provider:

I'd recommend anyone using Cience services to be familiar with Outbound sales. At the very least, read the book "Predictable Revenue".

What problems are you solving with the provider? What benefits have you realized?

Cience enables Reputation X to target companies that have reputation management issues in a very specific way. Cience manages research and outreach, while our in-house team manages the sales cycle from prospect to engagement. Cience has enable us to spin up our outbound effort quickly.

"Hi Volume Sales Outreach"

The Cience team assisted GPS Speakers with developing and deploying an aggressive sales campaign which consisted of sales copy, sequence design, email/call campaigns, lead gen, and pipeline management.

What do you like best?

Lead gen was very helpful and contacts were accurate and current.

What do you dislike?

The service did not seem to fit our sales cycle. The cycle to close a given deal is anywhere from 3 months to 1 year. With Cience's staff being outsourced, it probably is not the best fit for understanding the DNA of our organization and the nuances of pitching to our ideal client. Ultimately, we were not able to meet the objective of increasing the number of deals closed.

What problems are you solving with the provider? What benefits have you realized?

Cience has helped us solve stagnation in lead generation. As a small business, we did not have the bandwidth to generate leads in high volume without Cience.

"Professional and focused like a true partner"

We are a life sciences company selling services in a very regulated environment. We have been working with CIENCE for almost 3 years on research and outreach projects. We now consider them an extension of our inside sales team.

What do you like best?

CIENCE teams are very responsive, proactive and timely. We have had some challenging projects because of my company's delays in providing content, but regardless, CIENCE always completes the project on time.

What do you dislike?

There is nothing I dislike. CIENCE has been timely, professional and very proactive to share suggestions to improve out outreach results

We started with a trial project and saw the immediate success. I suggest doing the same

"Cience reached our target goal in 3 month trial "

Lead generation- Americas

What do you like best?

The team at Cience is flexible, attentive and extremely organized. They are willing to do whatever it takes to achieve our goals. Oksana has been a true Team Leader and makes sure that everyone at Cience is in sync and performs to high standards.

What do you dislike?

The only issue we have had throughout the past 3 months (during trial) was addressed and several solutions were offered. They are quick with problem solving and continue to offer suggestions until we are satisfied.

What problems are you solving with the provider? What benefits have you realized?

Cience is providing Outbound services at a volume that our team could not handle. The benefit is allowing our sales team access to new companies and help generate new business in our pipeline.

"Great research and launch help "

Email campaign, customer research - they developed custom scripts for an email and phone campaign and then implemented. They also discovered all of the customers we needed to target!!

What do you like best?

Research and targeting ability are top notch. Discussion, collaboration and work ethic all on point

What do you dislike?

Getting appointments with target clients was more difficult than I expected, but we ultimately met the #'s that we laid out at the start

Great ability to do what they say; ensure that you have well defined goals for the project and CIENCE will do it. Oksana was a great team lead for us.

What do you like best?

"Pro-Active Lead Generation Team "

Cience is our ongoing lead generation team. They assist us anywhere from assisting with leads, to booking appointments, to newsletters. and ongoing communications.

What do you like best?

I have worked with Cience for almost 2 years now and they have been nothing but Johnny on the Spot. Any changes needed, they are always on top of it. They are excellent at booking appointments and have learned about the special niche of Social Work (of our target audience) in such a short amount of time. It is such a pleasure to work with Cience as I know I can always count on them.

What do you dislike?

I have nothing to report on this as of yet. If I ever need clarification or a change to something they are always ready to hop on a call.

"Thorough sales support & lead generation"

CIENCE helped us source leads and other business development opportunities such as RFPs for relevant industries to our business. We were able to identify key industries to target business development efforts.

What do you like best?

CIENCE was able to give us the traction and results of a sales staff when our sales team was still growing. They are prompt with responding to communications.

What do you dislike?

Sometimes we didn't feel like we needed to meet every week and would have been fine just having the weekly result sent to us instead of presented.

What problems are you solving with the provider? What benefits have you realized?

The weekly data reports helped identify an industry not to pursue, which saved us time and effort because we knew where/when to shift our focus. We were able to set productive appointments with leads.

"Outsourced Inside Sales"

I used Cience to generate meetings for my outside sales team.

What do you like best?

The team was a pleasure to work with. Very professional, courteous and results oriented. The thing I like best is that they actually have ideas on what to try next or what to change. They don't just ask me what I think we should do.

What do you dislike?

The downside of using Cience isn't unique to them. Obviously, when you outsource a function versus hire internally, you lose a bit of control over the daily activities outside of creating new meetings.

What problems are you solving with the provider? What benefits have you realized?

We're working toward outsourcing the top of the funnel. We're not yet ready to move to a fully outsourced model, but we are getting appointments for our outside sales reps.

Makes it very easy for me to use the service without getting involved. The process is followed smoothly,

I don't really have any as I have only been working with them for a couple of months. Maybe time difference could be an issue for communication down the line but right now it isn't.

CIENCE provides us with a multi-faceted outreach strategy including B2B lead generation, partnership outreach and content marketing collaboration. Each campaign was thoroughly planned, reported and executed efficiently. The service they provide exceeded expectations both in terms of quality and quantity and the staff was a pleasure to work with.

What do you like best?

Every step of the service was well executed. From planning and research to prospect correspondence to reporting. On top of that, the communications were clear and the CIENCE team was quick to adapt to new ideas or shifts in strategy throughout each campaign

What do you dislike?

Nothing would stop us from collaborating with CIENCE again or recommending their services to any business that needs supplemental outreach services.

"Reliable lead generation and email marketing, a pleasure to work with"

Lead generation and email marketing. Main goal was to get qualified Zoom meetings setup with customers that could / would purchase our products.

What do you like best?

They are receptive, easy to work with, open to suggestions and tweaking. They have been able to cater to our changing needs and are a pleasure to work with. They are consistent and reliable.

What do you dislike?

No complaints so far, just quite pricey for the services we get.

What problems are you solving with the provider? What benefits have you realized?

CIENCE has helped increase the number of qualified leads generated for us, which have lead to an increase in sales. They are persistent and take care of the top end of our funnel, so that the people we interact with are more qualified and interested in our products.

Our company, BarnettStrategies.com, works with start-ups and early stage technology companies. We have used Cience with multiple of our clients over the last year for lead gen, appointment setting, and outreach before and after events. The Cience team does a great job learning each of our clients thoroughly and shows prompt, professional communication with leads as well as our clients.

What do you like best?

Flexible and adaptable to the unique needs of each of our clients. Quick response and creation of action plans for problems that arise. Weekly reporting on outreach results and experienced insight for improving numbers. High quality leads from the research team. Valuable insight on messaging for e-mail campaigns.

What do you dislike?

The natural frustrations that come with outsourcing work and doing all communication online.

What do you like best?

They are very organized and at the same time flexible to meet our schedule, our business approach and overall the quality of the meetings has been great.

Sometimes we have meetings with the wrong person who is not the decision maker, but it only happened few times.

Cience was tasked to source leads and conduct outbound SDR related work. They have been very successful on both fronts. In addition, their lead (Jean) has been very helpful with sales ops related work. Big value add.

What do you like best?

The team. Mike (VP) and Cience team are professional and easy to work with. Extremely responsive.

What do you dislike?

Not much to dislike. The challenges that naturally come with outsourced work (SDR accent on the phone, cultural differences etc.) is a factor but doesn't stop progress.

What do you like best?

"Great lead-generation and sales assistant support tool"

We chose Leadware because of the value they proposed: tasks, pricing, accessibility, and experience.

They generated the number of leads in the time agreed, and worked closely with me on changes and some fine tuning needed.

After two weeks of start, we already had several calls booked. In 3 months (with one sales assistant), we had over 35 calls, which was much more than I ever did by myself.

The best part is working with the Leader of the project (account manager) and the sales assistant assigned to us. They were very responsive, adaptable, and organized. Truly a pleasure working with them.

What do you like best?

Customer Service, weekly reporting, organizational skills.

What do you dislike?

nothing. i would refer them and work with them continuously.

They have great client relations experience. Very adaptable.
