## ChartMaker Reviews
  ### 1. ChartMaker: Just Don't.

**Rating:** 0.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Hospital & Health Care | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 06, 2023

**What do you like best about ChartMaker?**

Upside of STI? Hard to think of one... Oh, the Customer Service Department always answers the phone.

**What do you dislike about ChartMaker?**

User functionality is nonexistent. No efficiency. None at all. Compared to the many EMR/EHR systems I've used in the past, this is the worst. The system is a major limiting factor in our workflow, limiting the productivity of the overall office. I used to be able to document 18-20 notes in less than 8 hours; now I can't document more than 16 within 10hours. Using this program is torturous.

To break it down: The system is slow. Very tedious, multi-step process for simple tasks. Templates are difficult to customize. Two people cannot access the chart at the same time - meaning my scribe cannot assist if I am viewing the chart/creating notes. The fields within the template do not autopopulate, I have to manually select/enter every section in order to select MORE buttons just to input patient's previously-entered-information into today's progress note.

Selecting ICD-10s is such a process: you need to find the proper code, select it, to then have it be brought up to a new box, and select it again, and yet still have to select "save" in order for it to be placed properly into your note ---- and this has to be done PER ICD CODE.

...and why is there a Practice manager program & a completely separate Clinical Program. If I'm working within ClinicalProgram, I can't see if there's upcoming appointments. Instead I need to have to separate program running on two separate windows. Working on a split screen view is not ideal with Chartmaker as it skews the dimensions of the page

Uploading documents is possible, but it's not easily organized. Leads to more TIME CONSUMING relabeling and organizing. *huge sigh* .....I can keep listing these headaches, but instead, let's just sum up the inconveniences by saying: DO NOT GET CHARTMAKER. PLEASE. DON'T. STOP NOW.

**What problems is ChartMaker solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Billing and credit card payments are all through the same STI computer service. This is seen as a benefit for the in-house biller. The clinical documentation program, however, is severely lacking in comparison to newer programs.

  ### 2. Easy to use, quick, simple software for a private practice

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Medical Practice | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 30, 2017

**What do you like best about ChartMaker?**

Templates and ability to assess and upload all medical records within one folder easily.

**What do you dislike about ChartMaker?**

Scheduler - not as accurate when showing the patients under the "time filtered" option.
Templates for wound care could be more descriptive.
Medication prescription system is not as effective while trying to add/update previously taken medications for existing patients.
Diagnosis - Inability to click on multiple diagnosis at the same time especially if it is a bilateral issue but have to add it in one at a time which is time consuming and inefficient.

**Recommendations to others considering ChartMaker:**

Quick and effective charting system for a private practice. If you like it more detailed and personalized I would suggest another software.

**What problems is ChartMaker solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Quick, able to see many patients within a 15 minute time span.
