# Which job shop management system has the easiest quoting and routing features for a small fabrication shop where the owner or estimator handles quotes without a dedicated sales team?

I used to do all our quoting in Excel and it worked until it really didn't. The breaking point was when I'd win a job and then have to basically rebuild the routing from scratch because nothing carried over. That handoff from quote to job is where things fell apart for us. Didn't realize how much time I was losing until I saw a system where that step just... didn't exist.
