"Great addition to my other tools"
What do you like best about Buffer?

The ability to set a schedule and know when things are being posted. I also like the integration with Social Bro for figuring out your Best Time To Tweet. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Buffer?

My main issue is forgetting how I set up my account, so when I occasionally need to log-in again, I usually get the wrong option and end up with multiple accounts. I wish they would figure out a way to merge all accounts so that you could log in any which way and get the right one.

Also, because Hootsuite is my main dashboard, I wish I could use Ow.ly shortener instead of bit.ly, just so that all my metrics would be in one place. I rarely go to bitly to look. But then I rarely use Buffer for the things I want to actually track. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Good for Scheduling Lots of Content"
What do you like best about Buffer?

Buffer is a good service for scheduling lots of queued content to be posted on social media. If you are constantly adding or finding new content you want to post, this is a great tool to just queue that up and have it go out periodically. They also have good analytics for tracking your posts and social media campaigns. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Buffer?

Because you're supposed to have a set schedule for your content to go out at, it's not super easy to set a different time for just one or two posts. You can always change your schedule, but then you will have to change it back to your normal schedule afterward. I would also like to see Google+ integration and the ability to edit your schedule from the mobile apps. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Buffer surprisingly easy to use"
What do you like best about Buffer?

I wasn't sure I would need an app like buffer since Hootsuite has a scheduling aspect to it but soon realized that Buffer was so much easier to user than I had anticipated. The thing I like the most was the prompting to add more things to my queue. I actually felt compelled to add more content and schedule it for different times instead of the one tweet I had planned at the time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Buffer?

I wasn't that happy with the performance of the Chrome app. I found it would load slower than being on the site and that it wouldn't pull the correct images when "buffering" from some Wordpress blogs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Great application for content publishing"
What do you like best about Buffer?

Buffer is a great tool for so many content publishing purposes. You can queue up your content and push it out at the right times. Buffer has never failed me - no errors, no bugs (none that I've experienced anyway) and its iPhone app is great. Buffer is great for the casual tweeter as well as businesses (small and big) and bloggers etc. Another thing I love about Buffer (besides their inspiring and insightful newsletters) is the regularity in their updates to the software, unobtrusively. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Buffer?

Nothing so far. One really small niggle is not being able to custom schedule posts via their Mac application. With that said, that app was only recently added to the Mac Store, so I'm sure that this feature may be added soon. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Without buffer, I would not be able to manage all of my social media effectively!"
What do you like best about Buffer?

I love the fact that I can use the Buffer chrome extension to easily top off my queue of posts/tweets. I get all of my scheduling done each morning and I have the rest of the day to tend to the rest of my work load. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Buffer?

I wish Google+ was available as one of the platforms. I do not like the limited analytics for the Facebook portion of posts. Why does it not show the number of clicks when links are used and shares? Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Generally Pretty Cool"
What do you like best about Buffer?

It's dead simple. I recommend it to everyone I know who works in Communications. As a company I'm rooting for them. The suggested post work very good also. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Buffer?

Sometimes it doesn't work with the keyboard strokes and or accounts get disconnected. I wish there we better analytics for the regular paid version, not just business. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Liked this tool, not enough to pay for it though"
What do you like best about Buffer?

Scheduling tweets and FB posts for a whole month saves me a lot of time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Buffer?

Customer support was pretty bad. They tried too hard to upsell us. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"One of my favorite apps!"
What do you like best about Buffer?

It makes sharing content an absolute breeze. I typically digest content all in one sitting, which isn't great for sharing. With Buffer I just add the content & commentary that I want to share, and forget about it! Buffer does all the work for me, and even provides basic metrics so I can see what content was most effective. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Buffer?

There's not much that I dislike about this app. I used to have issues with sharing via mobile (in that it was always a lot of work to navigate between my safari/reader apps and Buffer, and not lose content), but now with their integration with Feedly it's pretty seamless. Really no complaints! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"The best, and simplest social media tool out there"
What do you like best about Buffer?

With the simple click of a button you can create tweets, updates, etc. that will be dispersed evenly throughout the day, across multiple social media profiles. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Buffer?

Free model doesn't necessary let you choose which profiles to use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Quickly Post Stuff Later"
What do you like best about Buffer?

It's quick - with links added to Facebook, Twitter and Chrome, it's incredibly simple to post something later. I'm not supposed to use Social Media during work hours, but I do use the internet a lot for work and on my lunch break, so I come across stuff I want to share. I can quickly Buffer it and have it appear after work hours with no time wasted. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Buffer?

The icon for the Chrome extension is all black. If you use a black theme, you won't see the Buffer icon. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
