# Best a/b testing software or platform?

 Hoping someone has used the tools below for AB testing... what was your experience, or do you have other recommendations? It includes features like a visual editor, audience segmentation, and detailed reporting.   Optimizely Web Experimentation  Optimizely Web Experimentation offers tools for A/B testing, multivariate testing, and personalization. It enables businesses to experiment with different website variations to enhance user experience and conversion rates, providing robust analytics and targeting capabilities.   PostHog  PostHog is an open-source product analytics platform that includes A/B testing capabilities. It allows teams to track user behavior, conduct experiments, and analyze results within a single platform, facilitating data-driven decision-making.

The platform will fully depend on what your company's goals, technical expertise, and budget.

For example: Convert Experiences (Convert.com) has comprehensive onboarding, transparent pricing, and is GDPR compliant. Unbounce is specifically great for landing pages. Freshmarketer, for those already using Freshworks. AB Tasty is known for its intuitive UI, VWO for its low-code options, and Optimizely for its enterprise-level features.

Here are some questions to ask yourself:

- Are you on a tight budget?
- Are you testing yourself or with a team?
- Do you have a coding background or a developer to help you out?
- Would you prefer to set up tests via a visual editor
- What analytics/CRM/dashboards are currently in your stack?
- Are you testing mobile apps?
- Do you need Shopify/ecommerce testing?
