## Braze Reviews
 ### 1. Great Mobile Features, But Data Limitations Hold It Back

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nicola B. | Global CRM, Martech & Studio Director, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 27, 2025

**What do you like best about Braze?**

Mobile first so push, in-app and whatsapp are all there as standard and easy to use.

**What do you dislike about Braze?**

The data model and functions are still very limited. There are restrictive limits on the amount of data in catalogues, nested filters, tags used for tracking analytics etc. You also can't restrict volume in journey paths, see the number of people per job run, get comms job alerts, toggle between audience views in message previews, save in-app templates, see a calendar view and query the profile table in currents. In summary - if you don't have strong data support this is not the tool for you as the data must be in a very specific format on ingested. Think of it as simply a sending tool; it can't be used as a CRM system.

**What problems is Braze solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Omni-channel messaging with a user friendly UI

 ### 2. Easy transition and great experience with Braze!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Katherine Y. | Lifecycle Marketing Specialist, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 05, 2022

**What do you like best about Braze?**

My favorite thing about Braze is its empowerment of all team members to run a campaign from start to end. It is easy and intuitive to build audiences, pull code blocks and templates, and even preview test devices in the platform to ensure no breaks are occurring.

**What do you dislike about Braze?**

Coming from SFMC, I wouldn't say I like Braze's lack of an auto-save feature. A few times, I have forgotten to save a work in progress, only to find that the tab or browser has accidentally been exited and all work has been lost.

It would be great to have a toggle feature where the user could choose whether they want auto-save functionality.

**What problems is Braze solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Personally, Braze is helping to solve my lack of expertise in building queries by creating an easy-to-use audience builder. I can independently make audience segments based on personalized customer attributes and preferences while ensuring all necessary exclusions are in place.

 ### 3. Efficient customer engagement platform

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jonathan C. | Product Marketing Lifecycle Manager, Telecommunications, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 07, 2024

**What do you like best about Braze?**

As a relatively new user of Braze, I can say it was fairly simple to learn and to get started with, thanks in great part to their excellent and comprehensive learning center. They also offer decent customer support — my experience has been very positive as inquiries were responded to (and resolved) in a timely manner. I use Braze daily as part of my role and generally find it quite intuitive and convenient, allowing for ample customization options to make the product fit one's unique business needs and use cases.

**What do you dislike about Braze?**

As someone who hadn't previously used any other similar products, I've found some rather strange UI/UX choices across the product, and I feel that there is plenty of room for improvement in terms of ease of use and scalability.

**What problems is Braze solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Braze allows us to perform in-app marketing to targeted audiences. It benefits my organization in that the marketing tools Braze offers allow us to keep our users engaged with the product.

 ### 4. Braze has a lot to offer the evolving world of CRM, AI and Martech.

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Claudia P. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 30, 2025

**What do you like best about Braze?**

I appreciate the involvement and care of the team members at Braze we have in place today. They are top notch and always with me as we navigate this ever evolving space. Special shout out to Bobby L. Dylan C, Lydia, and Paul N! I also appreciate all the work that has been put into AI, though I would like to see more of it in canvas build.

**What do you dislike about Braze?**

I feel like I had to fight for the team I get to work with at Braze today. Some special team offers don't have clear objectives and measures. Canvas methods of measurement has been impossible to understand for anyone outside of the CRM team and even for us it creates a challenge to do effective testing. Implementation updates don't have a map and it makes it hard on our team and Braze team to come together...though the Modernization team today (shout out to Steven and Jonathan) have started to change my mind on this potential.

**What problems is Braze solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are in a rebuild year. Right now we just broadcast our messages and the channels are needing changes BUT with the conversations of late I am hoping it will wow in the space of personalization to our customer.

 ### 5. Braze’s Multichannel Personalization and New AI Features Boost Productivity

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Insurance | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 23, 2026

**What do you like best about Braze?**

Braze offers a variety of channels and communication options which allows us to engage with our customers at every stage of their journey. We can also personalise our content to give that real human interaction. And with the new AI features, it's becoming a really useful tool for saving time and increasing productivity

**What do you dislike about Braze?**

I find sometimes the reporting is difficult to get the information we need. This may be more of a need to upskill myself in accessing the data and using the query builder rather than a negative of the platform

**What problems is Braze solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We currently only scratch the surface with Braze's capabilities and mainly use it for our promotional marketing emails. It helps us reach our subscribed audience with promotional offers that help drive engagement

 ### 6. Stay ahead of the curve with all things CRM

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kenadee H. | CRM Operations Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 29, 2022

**What do you like best about Braze?**

- Braze has built a platform that integrates all channels for a full CRM experience - SMS, email, app push, etc.

- The components (content blocks, templates, canvas) are flexible enough that we can solve for any idea.

- With a simple UI, this tool is easy to pick up. Dig in and you'll master it in no time.

- Support response times are incredibly quick.

- The platform is always improving and even has a portal where users can make suggestions. A tool built to fit my exact needs? Who could ask for more?

**What do you dislike about Braze?**

- Finding answers for unique use cases, especially around things like anonymous users, can take extra time. There's not a lot of documentation around these kinds of campaigns.

- (updating my review in fall 2025) The connection between workspaces has improved, but it's still not consistent across the board, resulting in some duplicative work.

**What problems is Braze solving and how is that benefiting you?**

With excellent automation features, Braze handles our high-level sends to all customers. This helps our team zero in on a granular level and think strategy instead of dealing with daily campaign builds.

 ### 7. Intuitive Design, Simplifies Communication Effortlessly

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rebecca T. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 24, 2026

**What do you like best about Braze?**

I use Braze for emails, app communications, and staying in touch with our community, and it really makes it easy for us to communicate with our members. I like the ease of use, the slick design, and the straightforward setup of campaigns. It's enjoyable to use the tool, which makes the work more enjoyable.

**What do you dislike about Braze?**

The translations feature could be simpler.

**What problems is Braze solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Braze for email and app communications, keeping in touch with our community. It makes it easy for us to communicate with our members.

 ### 8. User-Friendly CRM with Fast Email Building

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Euan G. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 23, 2026

**What do you like best about Braze?**

I find Braze really easy to use. Its user-friendly design is definitely a plus for me. I particularly enjoy the drag and drop editor, as it allows me to build emails super fast.

**What do you dislike about Braze?**

I find the AI in Braze lacking. It needs to be faster and output better solutions. The initial setup of Braze is not simple.

**What problems is Braze solving and how is that benefiting you?**

With Braze, I can efficiently manage email, Content Cards, and Push notifications. The drag and drop editor makes it incredibly user-friendly, allowing me to build emails super fast.

 ### 9. Efficient AI-Driven CRM with Some Segmentation Hurdles

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Anna S. | Senior CRM Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 27, 2026

**What do you like best about Braze?**

I appreciate Braze's intelligent functionality, which enables us to send and optimize campaigns more intelligently. I like that there's new technology developing all the time, and I find Braze's leaning into using AI makes it more efficient for me and my team.

**What do you dislike about Braze?**

Two things that are tricky are 1) nested segmentation limits running quick segment counts, 2) recurring canvases don't show in the calendar.

**What problems is Braze solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Braze's intelligent functionality helps us send and optimize campaigns more effectively, and leaning into AI makes us more efficient.

**Official Response from Andrea Nieto:**

> Thanks for the thoughtful feedback. It’s great to hear the AI-driven capabilities are helping your team work more efficiently and optimize campaigns.

We also appreciate you highlighting the challenges with segmentation and calendar visibility. That level of detail is especially helpful, and we’ve shared your input with the team.

Thanks again for sharing your experience, it helps us keep improving.

 ### 10. Streamlined Messaging But Complex Setup

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Paola M. | Assistente de Marketing, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 05, 2026

**What do you like best about Braze?**

I use Braze to send mass messaging campaigns through various channels like WhatsApp, email, push notifications, SMS, RCS, in-app messages, and banners. I also generate reports and automate messaging journeys throughout the customer lifecycle with it. I like how easy it is to create templates using drag-and-drop. Braze introduced much more practical styling, automation, and reporting tools than our previous internal CRM.

**What do you dislike about Braze?**

It could be improved by adding the option to duplicate segments created within Audience Path. The initial setup of Braze was difficult because it involved the Data and Development teams, which added integration complexity.

**What problems is Braze solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Braze solved the issue of performing manual sends with its automation tool.

**Official Response from Andrea Nieto:**

> Thank you for the detailed feedback. It’s great to hear Braze is helping you deliver and automate campaigns across channels while improving efficiency and reporting.

We also appreciate you calling out opportunities around segment duplication and the complexity of initial setup. That kind of input is valuable as we continue to enhance both the platform and the onboarding experience.

We appreciate you taking the time to share your experience, it helps us continue to improve.

 ### 11. Powerful Segmentation, Challenging Onboarding

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Louise D. | B2B Marketing Manager

**Reviewed Date:** February 13, 2026

**What do you like best about Braze?**

I like the segmentation element of Braze. It allows me to get really targeted with the email communication we send out, making sure the right messages get to the right people.

**What do you dislike about Braze?**

It's quite a steep learning curve, so it's quite difficult for people who haven't used Braze before to get up to speed with how it works. There's some elements of the tool that really isn't that intuitive, making it quite difficult to get up to speed with it initially.

**What problems is Braze solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Braze gives me a good view of our audience, allowing for targeted segmentation. This helps us ensure the right messages are sent to the right people, improving our email communication efforts.

 ### 12. Effortless Audience Activation with Braze

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** craig f. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 23, 2026

**What do you like best about Braze?**

I appreciate being able to activate audiences easily with Braze. It's really helpful to collaborate with colleagues in email and SMS. The setup was very easy, which made getting started with Braze quite smooth. I also find the ability to create segments and power campaigns a smarter way very beneficial.

**What do you dislike about Braze?**

no being integration and other platforms

**What problems is Braze solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Braze to create segments for campaigns, integrate customer data into platforms like Google Ads, and collaborate on email and SMS. It makes audience activation easy.

 ### 13. Sophisticated User Segmentation and Personalisation

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kizzy L. | Head of Marketing, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 23, 2026

**What do you like best about Braze?**

How sophisticated it is to segment and personalise for users

**What do you dislike about Braze?**

It doesn’t make data ingestion and organising easy if you have unusual customer set ups

**What problems is Braze solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Targeting specific segments at specific times

Engaging at point of someone being ready to commit to purchase. Upselling

 ### 14. Effortless Setup and Campaign Management

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Chisoni N. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 23, 2026

**What do you like best about Braze?**

I like how quick it is to set up a campaign in Braze without having to go through layers of creation to sending. It allows me the freedom to create and send without involving 10 people, and the initial setup was very easy.

**What do you dislike about Braze?**

We currently cannot send at account level and are unable to send letters through Braze.

**What problems is Braze solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Braze for sending operational comms quickly. It allows creating and sending campaigns without involving many people, making the process easier and faster.

 ### 15. Powerful Tool with Strong Segmentation, But Setup Can Be Tricky

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Guy P. | Lifecycle manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 15, 2025

**What do you like best about Braze?**

I like Braze because it's very easy to use. It feels friendly, and everything works as intended. I really appreciate the Canvas builder, as it helps me create better user journeys seamlessly.

**What do you dislike about Braze?**

The inner communications like content cards and banners could be improved, specifically in terms of setup and design. It would be better if they required less code and offered more options. The initial setup of Braze wasn't easy; it took more than a month to get the basics done, and there were issues with setting up in-app communications.

**What problems is Braze solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Braze helps me solve trust issues by ensuring email flows work properly, with communications connected, personalized, and segmented all in one place.

 ### 16. Powerful Multi-Channel Campaigns, Needs Better Reporting

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Christy S.

**Reviewed Date:** December 05, 2025

**What do you like best about Braze?**

I use Braze for all of our product and marketing communication needs and appreciate it as our CRM because it gives us insights into all of our users as a whole. I love the deep segmentation and personalization capabilities it offers, and it's great that it makes it easy to run campaigns across multiple channels. I love the ability to run multi-channel campaigns all at once and how easily I can export audiences for Facebook. Braze allows us to create multi-channel campaigns that are highly targeted, and I find their canvas workflow very robust, giving me tons of flexibility. The liquid syntax lets us be very personalized. Once we got established with it, Braze has required minimal maintenance, which is great.

**What do you dislike about Braze?**

I wish their analytics and reporting were better. It's not easy to quickly see performance on campaigns and campaign performance expires after some time. It is not easy to quickly access campaign reporting. I also wish it were easy to see high-level dashboard views of our user engagement performance across campaigns and channels. They have this as a custom feature, but it's not available out of the box and requires some effort to set up and maintain. The setup was involved and required more engineering support than I anticipated.

**What problems is Braze solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Braze is our CRM, providing insights into users with deep segmentation and personalization. It allows us to run multi-channel campaigns, including in-app messages, push notifications, and emails. The robust canvas workflow and liquid syntax add flexibility and personalization.

 ### 17. A powerful, scalable platform for personalized customer engagement

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Raphaël P. | Operations Team Lead & Team Manager, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 05, 2025

**What do you like best about Braze?**

Its real-time segmentation, advanced personalization, and flexible journey orchestration make it easy to deliver relevant messages across push, email, SMS, WhatsApp, and in-app channels. The interface is modern and user-friendly, and the ability to test, iterate, and optimize campaigns quickly is a major advantage. Braze also integrates well with external data sources, enabling a consistent and unified customer experience.

**What do you dislike about Braze?**

Some areas can feel overly complex for new users, especially when setting up advanced personalization or custom event structures. Implementation requires careful planning to avoid data inconsistencies. Certain analytics views lack depth compared to specialized BI tools, which sometimes forces additional exports. Pricing can also become significant as data and messaging volumes scale. Overall, though powerful, Braze requires solid internal expertise to unlock its full potential.

**What problems is Braze solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Braze helps centralize and orchestrate all customer communications across channels, replacing fragmented tools and eliminating manual processes. It enables us to build sophisticated, automated journeys that adapt in real time to user behavior, leading to higher engagement and better retention. With unified data and personalization capabilities, we can deliver more relevant messages, reduce churn, and drive incremental revenue through targeted lifecycle campaigns. Braze also significantly improves operational efficiency by allowing marketing teams to deploy campaigns without constant engineering support.

 ### 18. Excellent tool

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Food & Beverages | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 18, 2022

**What do you like best about Braze?**

Easiness of use, user-friendly front-end. It's easy for the team to create both automated and "manual" CRM campaigns, without the need of a specific technical knowlegde. Overall it's a very good tool

**What do you dislike about Braze?**

I would expect a better reporting for measuring the results of ALL campaigns at the same time.

**What problems is Braze solving and how is that benefiting you?**

With Braze we are able to automatize our CRM journeys and get in touch with our customers without the need of creating a campaign every day. We can be relevant and fast without investing too much time in manual changes

 ### 19. Braze Makes Building Journeys Easy with Powerful Segmentation

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rafael P. | Analista de Growth II, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 25, 2026

**What do you like best about Braze?**

What I appreciate most about Braze is how easy it is to build journeys, with a clean and intuitive layout and a wide range of segmentation options to optimize online campaigns.

**What do you dislike about Braze?**

I don’t have specific improvement points to share; however, it might be valuable if we could develop a landing page with a tagged link that collects customer information in a single click.

**What problems is Braze solving and how is that benefiting you?**

All of my offer journeys are managed through Braze. The platform allows me to integrate multiple communication channels, segment audiences effectively, design personalized templates, and streamline the entire customer acquisition process.

 ### 20. User-Friendly Canvas with Room for Improvement

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jeevithan K.

**Reviewed Date:** December 01, 2025

**What do you like best about Braze?**

I appreciate Braze's canvas usability, which significantly enhances my experience when interacting with the software. The ability to move steps easily within the canvas is particularly beneficial, allowing for a more flexible and efficient workflow. This feature helps me seamlessly organize tasks and manage customer communications without unnecessary complications. Additionally, the overall user interface design of Braze contributes to a smooth and intuitive process, making it easier to accomplish my goals in customer relationship management.

**What do you dislike about Braze?**

The lack of an autosave feature in Braze. If I accidentally hit the back button or navigate away from the page, I lose all my unsaved work. This oversight disrupts my workflow as it forces me to re-do tasks, leading to wasted time and effort.

**What problems is Braze solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Braze to efficiently send emails to customers. The Canvas usability and easy movement of steps enhance my workflow. However, the lack of autosave is a drawback as I can lose work if I accidentally hit back.

 ### 21. Intuitive Controls and Easy Ad Platform Connections

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Grace C. | Media Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 12, 2026

**What do you like best about Braze?**

The controls and instructions are intuitive and easy to connect to ad marketing platforms. As a marketer, i am not the most tech advanced so drag drop + simple explainers help

**What do you dislike about Braze?**

Because of how self serve it is + customisable, i would like to have some help on setting basic journeys. Its a huge sandbox for a beginner who doesnt know where to begin.

**What problems is Braze solving and how is that benefiting you?**

For my team, its about integrating CRM audiences with my marketing campaigns

 ### 22. Strong and reliable tool

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Gian P. | Analyst, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 15, 2022

**What do you like best about Braze?**

Braze has become seamless to use, improved significantly since then. I don't use it too regularly these days but colleagues that use it frequently have reported smooth operations within the tool.

**What do you dislike about Braze?**

I think Braze should make the most of AI usability.

**What problems is Braze solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Rider communication to tell of global outages and improve rider sentiment

 ### 23. Empowers Marketing with Independence, But Steep Learning Curve

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Liyan C.

**Reviewed Date:** November 30, 2025

**What do you like best about Braze?**

I truly appreciate how Braze enables my marketing team to communicate effectively with our app users through various channels such as in-app, push, and email messages without the need to consult our engineering team. This independence significantly enhances our ability to move quickly and execute our marketing strategies efficiently. I love the ease of creating segments and the advanced features for campaign automation and scheduling, which empower us to better understand our users and manage customer relationships more efficiently. These capabilities not only streamline our workflow but also save us valuable time, ensuring we deliver targeted and timely campaigns. Additionally, the initial setup experience was impressive with onboarding support from Covalent Marketing, which facilitated a seamless transition to the platform. Overall, Braze's array of tools and features makes it an invaluable asset for enhancing our marketing operations.

**What do you dislike about Braze?**

I find Braze to have a huge learning curve, which has been quite challenging to overcome. Specifically, I had difficulty understanding how to make segments, how custom events work, how data is pulled into Braze, and how to build dashboards. It would have been beneficial to have been directed to the Braze Learning website earlier in the process, as I only recently discovered it and believe that encouragement to explore these lessons earlier would have made the transition smoother.

**What problems is Braze solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Braze to send in-app, push, and email messages without engineering support, enabling our marketing team to move independently with campaign automation, segmentation, and scheduling, which saves time and enhances user understanding.

 ### 24. Effortless Customer Communication Made Simple

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ben S. | Marketing lead, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 09, 2025

**What do you like best about Braze?**

Braze is very simple to use and makes my life very easy to communicate with customers. I often send comms to our customers through email & product and braze makes it very easy to do so. I can easily segment with its integration tools as well as customising conversion metrics

**What do you dislike about Braze?**

Setting up custom conversions is not as intuitive as I would like

**What problems is Braze solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Being able to send automate personalised messages to our customers. The canvas feature is incredible for mapping out customer comms journeys as we know multiple touch points to a customer has a greater impact on conversion. it makes it really easy to set these up

 ### 25. Versatile CRM with a Steep Price Tag

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lindsey S.

**Reviewed Date:** January 26, 2026

**What do you like best about Braze?**

I like that I can mostly use Braze on my own without having to work with my tech team constantly. It removes the bottleneck for working with our tech team who are usually resource constrained anyways.

**What do you dislike about Braze?**

There are some limitations in targeting, for example, that make it a little bit more difficult, and it's a pretty pricey service for us. So we're always working to really make sure that we're only sending the most necessary messaging.

**What problems is Braze solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Braze as a reliable CRM to send all forms of communication like email and SMS. It solves the problem of tech team dependency, letting marketing manage tasks independently. Braze is an all-in-one product with rich capabilities, reducing the effort of handling multiple tools.

 ### 26. Versatile Marketing Automation with Few Improvements Needed

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Elisa R.

**Reviewed Date:** November 28, 2025

**What do you like best about Braze?**

I really appreciate how Braze's canvases allow me to create smooth and versatile communication journeys, which is particularly beneficial for crafting welcome campaigns or other campaigns that require sending multiple communications. The ability to make different communication channels interact, such as sending a push notification followed by an email based on the user's interaction with the initial message, significantly enhances my campaign strategies. The versatility of canvases also stands out, as they offer me the freedom to test different variables and automatically send the best-performing versions to the rest of the audience. This capability boosts my efficiency, as it eliminates the need to manually adjust the canvas, ensuring optimal performance without constant manual intervention. Additionally, setting up my Braze account was very easy, which speaks to its user-friendly nature.

**What do you dislike about Braze?**

There are some basic functionalities that are missing. I would like to be able to copy pieces of audience or filters from one canvas to another. It would also be beneficial to be able to select different objects within a canvas to copy or delete them simultaneously. Additionally, the ability to create objects that can be transferred from one canvas to another would be a great improvement.

**What problems is Braze solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Braze to create smooth journeys for campaigns with automated, interactive communication, enhancing my workflow without manual intervention.

**What do you like best about Braze?**

I love the ease of use of Braze and the ability to easily interact with customers via real time events

**What do you dislike about Braze?**

I wish Braze had more user friendly data ingestion UI tools for their cloud data ingestion feature for data warehouses. I wish all the data to bring into braze could be viewed and selected from the Braze UI versus defining the data in tables within the datawarehouse first.

**What problems is Braze solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Communicating with the customer at the right time is important.

 ### 28. Powerful and intuitive CRM tool

**What do you like best about Braze?**

AI decisioning allows me to remove a lot of the heavy lifting when it comes to personalization

**What do you dislike about Braze?**

It would be great to share regular AI updates on performance so we don't have to manually report on recent performance.

**What problems is Braze solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Remarketing to our existing customers in a more personalized way

 ### 29. Intuitive UI, one stop solution for all your CRM communications. Needs Improved Reporting.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Muhammad Abdullah S. | CRM Campaign Manager, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 11, 2025

**What do you like best about Braze?**

I find Braze incredibly user-friendly, with its simple and intuitive UI, especially compared to other tools I've used like Salesforce. The guided tour is a great help for onboarding. Braze serves as a one-stop solution for multi-channel communications including email, push notifications, SMS, and more, which simplifies managing campaigns for engagement and retention. The AI-driven messaging is very effective for segmentation and driving conversions. The canvas builder and campaign builder are among the most useful features, along with its ability to integrate with analytics platforms like Snowflake and Google Analytics. Its comprehensive nature makes it ideal for all communication needs.

**What do you dislike about Braze?**

I think the reporting is not that good. I would love to have more options, such as more pivot tables, more automations in terms of scheduling reports, and trends and graphs for my campaigns, which I can schedule and send to stakeholders.

**What problems is Braze solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Braze as a one-stop solution for multi-channel communication, helping segment databases and enhance campaign engagement with AI-driven messaging, driving conversions and revenue.

 ### 30. Excellent Support and Resources Make Braze Easy to Master

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 02, 2026

**What do you like best about Braze?**

I find Braze’s UI very intuitive. Users can get up to speed quickly, which makes it very efficient. Setting up segmentation, Canvases, and campaigns are all straightforward, and the testing process is noticeably quick (sending test SMS, emails, etc).

**What do you dislike about Braze?**

Braze can take a bit of time to get used to and does feel a little overwhelming at first. You’ll likely end up digging through a lot of docs and learning materials, but that’s pretty normal. The upside is that there’s a lot of help available (Chat + Articles), and once you’re comfortable with it, it's easy enough to navigate.

**What problems is Braze solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Braze helps us run personalized, cross channel messaging on a big scale. The ability to organise everything across multiple workspaces is a big bonus for us keeping teams and brands separated and tidy.

 ### 31. Efficient Campaign Management with Room for Improvement

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rui C.

**Reviewed Date:** November 26, 2025

**What do you like best about Braze?**

I think the usability of Braze is quite good, making it easy for me to find the actual tabs I need, access all the information, and set up new campaigns efficiently. Additionally, I've received feedback that the API documentation is in-depth, which significantly eases the creation of our apps with Braze integration. The integration process with our current application is straightforward and user-friendly. Moreover, Braze serves as a central hub for managing all my notification needs, enhancing the way I oversee various aspects of my campaigns. The initial setup was also notably easy; for instance, we had a notification center up and running in just a sprint and a half, which is impressively fast, and setting up a campaign took less than an hour. This rapid setup time was beneficial as it allowed us to get started quickly without much hassle.

**What do you dislike about Braze?**

I am currently facing issues with managing the numerous campaigns within Braze. There are hundreds of unused campaigns that clutter my current catalog, making it difficult to locate the specific campaign I am working on. This problem arises because we often have to create specific campaigns for each use case, sometimes only needed for a few days or for testing purposes. Unfortunately, there is no straightforward method to keep these campaigns organized, particularly in distinguishing live campaigns from those that are not in use.

**What problems is Braze solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Braze to manage campaigns and notify users easily, integrating seamlessly with our application and providing a central hub for notifications. It simplifies setup and provides excellent API documentation, enhancing app development with its integration.

 ### 32. Effortless Multichannel Campaign Automation

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** George B. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 23, 2026

**What do you like best about Braze?**

I like the ease of channel activation in Braze. It's so easy to activate multichannel experiences and do a multichannel journey map.

**What do you dislike about Braze?**

The user experience when you have a long attribute name is frustrating because it cuts off. There should be a hover over option so I can see it.

**What problems is Braze solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Braze for campaign selections and automations, simplifying campaign deployment and execution. It makes it easy to activate multichannel experiences and create a multichannel journey map.

 ### 33. Innovative Platform with Top-Notch Support

 ### 34. Visual Canvas Enhances User Comms, Localization Needs Work

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Janet P.

**Reviewed Date:** November 24, 2025

**What do you like best about Braze?**

I appreciate the visual aspect of Braze's canvas, which makes it easy to see what the user journey looks like. This feature enhances my ability to manage and strategize communication across the entire user lifecycle effectively. Additionally, I like how straightforward it is to segment users and build lists, which allows me to seamlessly personalize and target communications. This capability is further enhanced by the integration with Amplitude, providing a robust framework for data-driven decisions and analytics. Overall, these features of Braze streamline my processes and improve my productivity in executing CRM tasks like email, text, and in-app notifications.

**What do you dislike about Braze?**

I find the localization process in Braze to be very messy. The integration with Smartling hasn't been consistent, which causes disruptions. Additionally, when we attempt to make edits, especially on a live canvas, we often encounter errors. This forces us to try various redundant actions, such as clicking around blindly, just to successfully execute a launch.

**What problems is Braze solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Braze strategically sends communications across the user lifecycle with personalization and segmentation. I like its visual canvas and ease of user segmentation and integration with Amplitude.

 ### 35. A Powerful Platform for Scalable Customer Engagement

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Damian . | Manager, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 23, 2026

**What do you like best about Braze?**

The platform makes it easy to build personalised, multi‑channel campaigns without relying heavily on engineering support. Its UI is clean and user‑friendly

**What do you dislike about Braze?**

While the platform is robust, its flexibility can introduce a learning curve for new users. Some advanced features require careful setup and ongoing governance. Reporting, although improving, can feel limited for more complex analytics or attribution needs.

**What problems is Braze solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Braze helps centralise and activate customer data, enabling highly personalised communication at scale. This reduces operational friction, accelerates campaign launches, and improves targeting accuracy.

 ### 36. Streamlined CRM with Powerful Automation

**Reviewed by:** Munira S. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 23, 2026

**What do you like best about Braze?**

I love the connected content and its capabilities, utilizing API keys to automate communications. It streamlines email tasks and has cut down my work by 5 hours a week, which was scaled globally at my prior role. I also find the UI to be pretty streamlined. The initial setup of Braze was easy.

**What do you dislike about Braze?**

Naming conventions could be automatically generated.

**What problems is Braze solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Braze streamlines CRM journeys and platforms, automating email communications and saving me 5 hours a week globally.

 ### 37. Simple to Use with Helpful Online Training

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Joan M. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 23, 2026

**What do you like best about Braze?**

It’s simple to use and understand. The online courses also help in order to make sure you have full training on what you need on a daily basis

**What do you dislike about Braze?**

Times out a lot and have to close all tabs to be able to toggle back in.

**What problems is Braze solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ATM I use to to create marketing emails but now that I have more knowledge on Al I will be exploring my options when it comes to to lapsing campaigns

 ### 38. Powerful CRM with Comprehensive Channel Integration

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rob S.

**Reviewed Date:** November 21, 2025

**What do you like best about Braze?**

I am really impressed with Braze because it's a comprehensive solution to address CRM issues, especially through its extensive analytics and marketing functionalities. What I love most is the versatility and range of communication channels it offers, including WhatsApp, SMS, and email, which enables a more robust and diversified outreach strategy than just relying on email alone. Additionally, the integration of push notifications and in-app messaging, which some other CRMs treat as separate, are conveniently housed within Braze. This consolidation makes the creation of marketing flows significantly more efficient, especially important during high-traffic periods like Black Friday. The ability to leverage a multi-touchpoint model through Braze is powerful and contributes greatly to its effectiveness. Furthermore, Braze's robust compatibility with other tools, such as AMP Amplitude, enhances its effectiveness for analytics purposes. Overall, Braze seems to have everything I need for both analytics and marketing, making it a brilliant choice for managing customer relationships.

**What do you dislike about Braze?**

I think Braze could improve its educational resources. Currently, many courses require signing up and paying for access, which can be a barrier to learning the platform effectively. There could be more free resources specifically on how to use the tool. Additionally, the case studies provided are a bit too broad for practical application. I'd appreciate having example funnels that are already built, which I could then tweak according to my needs. This would be a significant improvement in making the tool more accessible and understandable.

**What problems is Braze solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Braze to fill gaps in our marketing funnel, providing messaging solutions for better engagement. It integrates various channels into one, simplifying marketing flows and supporting effective multi-touchpoint models, improving CRM and analytics.

 ### 39. Great UI and Extremely Fast Campaign Deployment

**Reviewed Date:** May 06, 2026

**What do you like best about Braze?**

Great UI, agile and extremely fast deployment of campaigns

**What do you dislike about Braze?**

Cannot duplicate groups within the audience split component. No option to have segment volume cap sizes within canvas builds. When adding attaching email templates, you cannot see the actual email template label when configuring the email settings

**What problems is Braze solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Helping us to be more agile and reactive to certain moments of the year when needing to send out commercially impactful campaigns

 ### 40. Evolving and Intuitive Platform for Campaign Management

I use Braze for lifecycle and day-to-day campaigns. I like that it's simple and easy to use, and it keeps evolving. They keep launching new features that are easy and quick to make changes with.

**What do you dislike about Braze?**

It would be great to have more code generating bits for incentives so everything can be managed in one platform.

**What problems is Braze solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Braze for lifecycle and day-to-day campaigns, benefiting from easy testing and building with pre-built blocks and templates.

 ### 41. Data analyst

I use Braze for helping send marketing communications to the right customer. I like the interface, UI, and capabilities, as they make targeting customers clear, and the canvas is easy to use. The initial setup was easy, with clear instructions.

**What do you dislike about Braze?**

The speed is sometimes slow, especially when loading canvas.

**What problems is Braze solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Braze to help send marketing comms to the right customer by allowing us to put our model segments in Braze for targeting.

 ### 42. Worked at Blinkist as CRM campaign Manager

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Laís D. | Contributer & Apprenticeship, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 17, 2025

**What do you like best about Braze?**

What I like most about Braze is how flexible and powerful it is once everything is set up. The platform gives you a very clear overview of campaigns, segments, and user journeys, and it’s easy to collaborate across teams. The Canvas builder is especially helpful, it allows you to experiment, iterate, and A/B test without breaking anything. I also appreciate how well Braze integrates with data teams, making it simple to scale personalisation and run more complex lifecycle automations. Overall, it’s a tool that really supports creative CRM ideas while staying very data-driven.

**What do you dislike about Braze?**

The platform can feel overwhelming at first, especially for teams that are new to CRM or don’t have strong technical support in place. Some features require more steps than expected, and onboarding new colleagues takes time. Documentation is good, but certain workflows could be more intuitive, especially when it comes to organising assets and keeping track of what’s active, paused, or outdated. I would also love to see improvements in how AI features are surfaced directly inside the tool, so you don’t need to rely on external prompt management as much.

**What problems is Braze solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Braze helps us centralize and automate the entire customer lifecycle in one place. Instead of managing multiple tools for segmentation, messaging flows, and analytics, we can coordinate everything inside a single platform. This makes experimentation much easier and helps us react quickly when we need to adjust campaigns or test new ideas.

 ### 43. Effortless In-App Surveys with High Engagement and Reliable Delivery

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 14, 2025

**What do you like best about Braze?**

Braze has been an effective tool for delivering in-app surveys through our consumer app. Even though I'm not using the full breadth of its features, the platform excels in the areas that matter most for simple, high-engagement survey distribution.

What I like most:
-Easy to build and deploy: Creating surveys through in-app messages is straightforward and fast. The drag-and-drop editor makes it simple to spin up new messages without looping in engineering.
-Great targeting controls: We can target specific audiences or behaviors, which helps us reach the right users at the right time and improves survey response rates.
-High engagement: Because the surveys appear natively in-app, we see significantly better completion compared to email or push surveys.
-Reliable delivery: Messages fire consistently based on the rules and triggers we’ve set — no issues with delay or missed impressions.
-Flexible design options: We can customize the look and feel enough to keep surveys on-brand and unobtrusive.

**What do you dislike about Braze?**

- Reporting could be more intuitive for simple survey use cases; the analytics are powerful but sometimes feel geared toward more complex campaigns.
- A bit heavy for single-purpose usage: Braze is a robust platform, so if you’re only using it for surveys, it can feel like more tool than you need.

**What problems is Braze solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Braze solves the challenge of collecting user feedback quickly and efficiently by allowing me to create and deliver in-app surveys without relying on engineering. I can target the right users, launch surveys fast, and track engagement all in one place. This saves time, improves response rates, and makes it easier to gather meaningful insights directly from our consumers.

**Reviewed Date:** April 23, 2026

**What do you like best about Braze?**

I find Braze really easy to use, which is great because it used to take a team of five people and several days to launch a campaign. The AI tool within Braze is something I value the most. The initial setup was also very easy.

**What do you dislike about Braze?**

print solution not available

**What problems is Braze solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Braze solves self-serve issues and reduces the need for a team of 5 and days of work to launch a campaign.

 ### 46. Intuitive Interface, Scalable Personalization

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**What do you dislike about Braze?**

I would like more AI decisioning and automation so that Braze can run as many functions as possible

**What problems is Braze solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Braze helps streamline CRM, customer communication, and automating in-product events. Its ease of use and multi-channel engagement allow our team to optimize quickly, perform self-service without engineering, and keep communications cohesive.

 ### 48. Personalizable, robust yet needs better analytics

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Pauline M.

**Reviewed Date:** December 28, 2025

**What do you like best about Braze?**

I use Braze for all our company's lifecycle marketing for leads and clients. I like how personalizable and robust it is. I can trust Braze, and I know I will be able to build the complex flows and personalization I need to achieve my goals. I implemented Braze from an in-house tool a few years back, and it was a breeze.

**What do you dislike about Braze?**

I think the analytics of Braze could really be improved, you realistically cannot analyze anything in Braze. Allow for more KPIs, more personalization in KPIs and analytics, better dashboard creation.

**What problems is Braze solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Braze for lifecycle marketing, it's robust and highly personalizable. I can trust the campaigns, flows, and triggers I set up and build the complex flows and personalization I need to achieve my goals.

 ### 49. Powerful platform for scalable, personalized customer engagement

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Transportation/Trucking/Railroad | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 23, 2026

**What do you like best about Braze?**

The platform gives you a lot of flexibility to build highly personalized, data-driven campaigns while still being intuitive enough to move quickly. The segmentation and targeting capabilities are especially strong, which makes it easy to reach the right users at the right time based on real behavior, not just static attributes.

I also really appreciate how well Braze supports experimentation. Setting up A/B tests, iterating on messaging, and measuring performance feels straightforward, which helps teams learn and optimize fast. The real-time data and analytics make it easy to understand what’s working and adjust campaigns accordingly.

Another big plus is how well Braze integrates with other tools and data sources. It fits nicely into a broader marketing and data stack, which makes collaboration between marketing, product, and engineering much smoother. On top of that, the documentation and support resources are strong, making it easier to troubleshoot and implement more advanced use cases over time.

Overall, Braze strikes a great balance between depth and usability, which makes it a valuable tool for teams that want to scale personalized customer engagement.

**What do you dislike about Braze?**

While Braze is very powerful, that depth can also come with a learning curve. Some advanced features are not immediately intuitive, especially for new users, and it can take time to fully understand how different components work together. This sometimes slows down onboarding or requires additional support from more technical teammates.

Reporting and analytics, while useful, can also feel limited for more customized or cross-channel analysis. In some cases, exporting data or relying on external tools is necessary to get deeper insights, which adds extra steps to the workflow.

**What problems is Braze solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Braze solves the challenge of delivering timely, personalized communication at scale across multiple channels. Instead of managing fragmented tools for email, push, and in-app, Braze brings everything into one platform, which makes it much easier to create cohesive customer journeys and consistent messaging.

It also addresses the problem of acting on real user behavior in real time. Braze allows teams to segment users dynamically and trigger messages based on actions, attributes, and lifecycle stage. This directly benefits me by making campaigns more relevant, improving engagement, and reducing wasted impressions on users who are unlikely to convert.

Another key problem Braze solves is experimentation and optimization. The platform makes it easier to test messaging, timing, and audiences, then quickly apply learnings. This helps me move faster, make more informed decisions, and continuously improve performance rather than relying on assumptions.

 ### 50. Intuitive, Smooth Navigation with Helpful Documentation and Accessible AI

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed Date:** April 28, 2026

**What do you like best about Braze?**

Very intuitive and easy to use. Navigation throughout the platform is smooth, and there’s plenty of helpful documentation. The AI assistance is also easy to access whenever I need it.

**What do you dislike about Braze?**

Any issues sometimes take longer to get resolved or have to do our own research as to what was causing the problem rather than braze being forthcoming with addressing problems

**What problems is Braze solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Highly personalised messages at scale
