Their staff is amazing and will jump through hops to help your team, they did ours. This is by far the best system, I have ever used. Ive used 4 counting this one and by far I'd choose Best Notes Every time. **What do you dislike about BestNotes?** I really appreciated how straightforward and detailed the system was. Everything was simple to download and convert to digital format. The documentation process was smooth and, in my experience, the UDS documentation was the best I've used. But if I had to pick something, I would say that the details provided once searching would be the best thing and even that isn't that great. **What do you dislike about BestNotes?** Almost everything. The layout, the interface, the organization, the color scheme, etc. It's just very old school. I know graphics aren't exactly what these systems are needed for, but a cleaner design would be appreciated. Now about functionality? That's even worse. Trying to find something sometimes takes awhile. **What problems is BestNotes solving and how is that benefiting you?** Obtaining data necessary to run patient samples, such as demographics, insurance info, etc. Not many benefits really. It adds the information needed without having to type it directly word by word. Then, it is easy to add details to the notes. Click on the options wanted, append and close, add more detail. I like the ability to find each note easily in the drop down lists. **What do you dislike about BestNotes?** Sometimes when trying to enter a client's note it says that someone else is still editing the note. When checking with that person, they usually are not working on that client. It is company wide over two cities. We are able to access information from both locations and remotely. Best notes is the simplest software I have ever used. It is easy to navigate and makes my job easier. The format for notes is simple and time saving. I feel like this program has enabled me to do better notes which serves our customer base easier. The treatment plans are simple and straightforward. They don’t have a whole bunch of different categories where you have to say the same thing in five different ways. I would recommend this software to any agency. The company is easy to reach if you have problems, and you can immediately get someone on the phone instead of having to put in troubleshooting tickets and wait. I love this software! **What do you dislike about BestNotes?** My only complaint would be having to go back and forth from the calendar to the contact in order to get back into notes or to create notes. It is also difficult to get a complete what’s due report. **Recommendations to others considering BestNotes:** I enjoy Best Notes as a user. I also appreciated that it asked several times before submitting. **What do you dislike about BestNotes?** I wish it had better spell check for the late night filings when you're trying to get home. **What problems is BestNotes solving and how is that benefiting you?** One main benefit was that important information could shared easily between the company. The only issue I experienced was it would sometime freeze up, and not save what you had typed. ### 12. When you are in healthcare, your experiences do not often fit in a box. When you are making a clinical note, you can add certain signers, like a read receipt to keep everyone accountable which is also very helpful. **What do you dislike about BestNotes?** Every link is one one main page which sounds good, but it also can be confusing to find what you are looking for. Also when you lock the note, and say you need to get back into it, you have to e-mail bestnotes to unlock it and the response time can be somewhat slow. I wish we could make our director or someone an admin who could unlock the notes much faster if need be. **Recommendations to others considering BestNotes:** Make sure your boss gives you a manual or extra training on the use of this product, it will save you time later. **What problems is BestNotes solving and how is that benefiting you?** Communication is much clearer when everyone has to be a signer on notes that way there is no question of whether you know what is going on with a patient because everyone has to sign it. And again, the freedom to include a lot of detail is so helpful for insurance purposes and liabilities sake. ### 13. Made practice management very difficult. **What problems is BestNotes solving and how is that benefiting you?** We were able to make the initial transition from paper charts to EMR by using Best Notes.
