The Azure Portal provides a centralized and user friendly interface to manage all Azure resources in one place. It makes it easy to navigate across services like VMs, networking, storage, and identity without needing to rely entirely on CLI or scripts. The UI is well organized, and features like dashboards, resource groups, and tagging make it easier to manage large environments.
I also like how it integrates tightly with the rest of the Azure ecosystem, from Entra ID and monitoring tools to cost management and RBAC. The built in visualizations, metrics, and activity logs are very useful for quick troubleshooting and operational visibility. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The portal can feel slow at times, especially when managing large environments or navigating between resource heavy pages. Some features are buried deep in menus, making certain configurations harder to find. There can also be inconsistencies between the Portal, CLI, and ARM/Terraform features, where some capabilities appear in one interface but not others yet. For repetitive tasks, relying only on the UI can become inefficient compared to automation. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
