Lambda works well for misc. DevOps tasks. We're starting to replace glue scripts and other ad-hoc solutions with Lambda since more of our infrastructure is moving to AWS. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The limits on execution time and storage mean that we must continue building out our own elastic compute infrastructure for long running jobs that are compute intensive (primarily aligning DNA sequences). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
