This is the most awesome product among all the products in AWS suite. You can chose the language you want. We generally use Java, NodeJS or Python. It is so simple to write a small piece of code, have it automatically deployed and then test out the results. Lambda also comes with inbuilt integration between most of AWS services or through code libraries available for almost all languages. What is even more awesome is the fact that you are also allowed to write Lambdas in languages which are not allowed by AWS, obviously with a lower support. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The language support does not include php yet which might be a bit of a problem given the use of the language. You can still write php lambdas though. There are a few problems with lambda, the most frequent being the one of cold starts. We are using the Lambda function for start the instance and stop the instance as per the scheduled time period.

As per the customer request we have set Lambda script for specific time.
