What do you like best about AWS Lambda?

AWS Lambda is the best automation tool and service-to-service communication. It also supports many Languages Nodejs, Python, Java, PHP Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about AWS Lambda?

AWS lambda keeps upgrading language versions & prompts us to upgrade the Version for one month, and after one month, it does not permit us to create or update the lambda function. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about AWS Lambda?

There are no server to manage. It would be useful for the task which is having short execution (upto 15 mins). It won't be continuously running in the background, based on our demand, it will run and much cost effective. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is AWS Lambda solving and how is that benefiting you?

We've developed many services using lambda. One of them is the S3 uploader lambda function will upload the required image to the S3 bucket and return the object details. It was so much easier to handle image service as a separate function with the best benefit as "do not care about scaling up or down" Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"A simple and powerful tool to execute serverless computing"

What do you like best about AWS Lambda?

In addition to run my logic on the cloud, I am also able to trigger this functions based on specific activities (e.g. I upload a photo). So this is a powerful tool compared to Azure Functions Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about AWS Lambda?

I think the only problem I have faced is that sometimes it takes some time to work with AI (but this could be also my problem) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is AWS Lambda solving and how is that benefiting you?

It is mainly related to serverless computing (e.g. SFTP connections, data upload, BLOB processing, AI algorithms) ... The benefits are that my functions are running without problems and the cost is reasonable. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about AWS Lambda?

Lambda function are the most used module from aws. The idea behind lambda is virtualization but the way they used it is quite awesome. It change the traditional approach of development. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about AWS Lambda?

Lambda functions help you go serverless and run your code in minutes without any dependency to setup the required infra and platform.

You can run as many functions as you want and lambda layers help setup the required dependencies for all your functions.

The Step functions also help with the execution order of your functions, to help with distributed setups. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about AWS Lambda?

The execution time limit of 15 mins for the function, if expanded can give a lot more scope for lambda functions and use cases.

when i use the chaining function in my AWS lambda, then my function is showing timeout. becouse Lambda is the timeout of 15 minutes.You have to find a way to use Step Functions or another alternative to split up your process to run less than 15 minutes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
