- Support for different language runtimes: Python, Node.js, Java.

- Along with AWS api gateway, abilty to build a truly serveless API.

- AWS Lambda had a significant issue with cold starts initially, but things seem to have improved over the last year

What problems is AWS Lambda solving and how is that benefiting you?

AWS Lambda with API gateway helped us to build a genuinely serverless API (internal) without having to worry about scaling and managing/upgrading cloud instances. "Best service to revolutinize development"

What do you like best about AWS Lambda?

We generally use Aws Lambda to create small functions which will run within 15 minutes these functions generally carry the less load and very economical from the business perspective so for example if we have 60 API

in a project so we can expose around 40 API is which doesn't do much work in an lambda function and the monthly costing is also quite low the only problem with a Lambda is that it the first request actually start the Lambda engine in backend of Lambda we have a docker so the first request generally takes some time but after first request all the other request generally works quickly. What do you dislike about AWS Lambda?

15 min timeout I don't like about lambda Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is AWS Lambda solving and how is that benefiting you?

Lambda are best suited for the function which runs for a short period of time and which has a list dependency so for example if a function has a more dependency we can divide into multiple small function.

If we compare Lambda with ECS AWS or ec2 machines these are the most economical and the cheaper option available from aws in ECS container services we have to look into many things and the service will run always but at the same time while running lambda we are only charge for the time it is running so for example it is running for 10 seconds of the charge will be only for 10 seconds not like ecs shall will charge for whole day same ec2 so that is why the lambda are the best option Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about AWS Lambda?

What do you like best about AWS Lambda?

Aws cloud is user-friendly and cost-optimized. Aws S3 bucket, EC2, ECS and RDS are good for software development and deployment. It is better than GCP and others I think. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
