Level #1 — Basic compliance For companies with in-house staff that have expertise in HR best practices and understand federal and state labor laws, level one is a perfect fit. Our basic compliance bundle gives you access to our award-winning online HR library that provides comprehensive, easy-to-navigate, and easy-to-understand HR and employee benefits compliance information. It’s maintained by a team of staff attorneys who are experts in federal and state HR and benefits laws and best practices. Whether you need the newest information on health care reform or state employment laws, our online portal delivers the information, tools, and forms you need to stay compliant. It also provides a great range of online interactive tools, including a custom job description builder, a salary benchmarking tool, and HR self-audit tools.
Level #2 — Basic compliance + HR Hotline For companies who have some HR staff to manage the HR function but lack expertise in best practices or compliance with state and federal laws, level two is built for them. Level two gives you access to the same award-winning online HR library available in level one. In addition, you have access to our HR Hotline. The HR Hotline provides live support and information on a full range of HR topics. The HR Hotline is staffed with a team of fully certified HR professionals, with specialized training and education to advise on immediate and long-term HR needs and strategy.
Level #3 - Fully outsourced HR Asure’s fully outsource HR is built for growing companies who haven’t yet built back-office HR infrastructure or companies that simply want to focus on their core business while conserving cash to invest in growth — not back office overhead. Our fully outsourced HR service offering allows you to remotely outsource your Human Resources department. Asure provides turnkey, comprehensive support for the entire employee lifecycle — from on-boarding to separation. The team provides a broad range of HR knowledge and depth of experience to all your employees. We’re not just consultants, we do the work at a fraction of the cost of hiring an internal HR team. Asure assigns a dedicated Account Manager and Project Management team that supports your strategic initiatives, development and implementation of best practices and processes, guidance on complex HR topics, and communicates ongoing critical Compliance information. You’ll leverage our team of HR experts that are HR certified with access to tools and resources to complete projects such as handbooks, salary benchmarks, and job descriptions to name a few.
Payroll Administration Asure’s Payroll Administrative Services allows you to outsource your Payroll department. We’ll administer your payroll system, maintain employee data, payroll processing, and report downloading. Here’s how it works: Maintaining employee data means we hire employees into the payroll system and make periodic adjustments based on the client’s request (i.e. update addresses, tax withholdings, direct deposits, salary adjustments, etc.). When processing payroll, we ensure managers approve timecards and PTO, then we commit timecards and make any one-time changes (add bonuses, retroactive adjustments, etc.). Before submitting, we send payroll preview reports to the client for review and approval. Once approved, we submit payroll and then download post payroll reports and send to our key contact(s) so they can have record of the data as well as complete any financial responsibilities they may have on their end. Asure also stores all payroll data, which the client will have direct access to, in order to be in compliance with the Department of Labor. In addition, Asure provides best practice advice to the client regarding payroll matters.
Benefits Administration Asure’s Benefit Administrative Services allows you to outsource your Benefits department. This will include communicating benefit information to newly eligible employees, collecting their enrollment information, enrolling or removing employees in the benefit carrier sites, and communicating with the payroll team to ensure applicable deductions occur. Here’s how it works: Once Asure is made aware of newly eligible employees, we will send benefit information and enrollment instructions to those that are eligible so they can begin to review the benefit offerings. Typically, there are two ways to enroll; online through an Employee Self Service (ESS) site or through paper forms. If there is an auto-feed from the ESS site, then once the employee enrolls, their information is automatically fed into the carrier system (we will monitor that transmittal). If there is not a carrier feed, we’ll pull the enrollment data from the payroll system or collect the paper enrollment forms, and then go to each carrier site and enroll them manually. From there, we communicate any applicable payroll deductions to the payroll department to ensure the employees are being deducted for their share of the premiums. Additionally, Asure will help coordinate the open enrollment process with the broker through gathering data, scheduling meetings and monitoring employee enrollment. Other tasks Asure will handle are benefit reconciliations (assuming we have access to payroll reports), facilitate distribution of required plan notices, and become a liaison for employees with any benefit questions or issues. In addition, Asure provides best practice advice to the client regarding benefit matters.
