In addition, Assure will not only withhold payroll taxes but will handle paying withheld taxes to the gov't on behalf of their clients so the client does not have to worry about sending in payroll taxes. **What do you dislike about Asure?** We were suprised to findout that they charge an additional fee if you do not use who they recommend for workers comp insurance. I wanted to use a policy I already had in place. In addition, they said they would be able to work with the insurance company and report directly to them the workers comp amount each pay period only to find out they are not willing to do this. I think initially we were told things just to get us to agree to use their services (this was through HR for Health) and then once they had us the realities came into light. **What problems is Asure solving and how is that benefiting you?** They handle our payroll. ### 2. Tax, W2, 1099 filing as part of standard service. **What do you dislike about Asure?** Asure seems to be conserned with selling/upselling products without any care or consern with supporting these products or if they even work correctly. Just look at their website. It's all what they can sell you. There is no info on how to use what they sell anywhere. The implementation person is attentive to emails/phone calls. **What do you dislike about Asure?** They do not have the required payroll reports that aid with 5500 testing and workers' comp audits. These reports are standard with any other payroll provider and it does not make sense that they can't produce these or allow at hoc reporting within their system. **What problems is Asure solving and how is that benefiting you?** We switched to Asure thinking it was a more robust product with the onboarding and time management system. However we had a lot of issues with the implementation of the time management system and have not yet migrated over to these other areas. ### 16. The Payroll specialist was very accommodating when changes needed to be made to an account. **What do you dislike about Asure?** One downside to Asure is that they don't make things very clear. We have to keep going to them with concerns and questions that should be answered the first time. **What problems is Asure solving and how is that benefiting you?** Asure helps us process payroll, which benefits us by saving us time. All I have to do is call my payroll specialist and tell her the hours everyone works, and she processes the rest. ### 18. There are many times as a small business owner that I need to enter payroll as I know I will be out of the office for payday, but Asure withdrawls the money either the date I enter the payroll or the day after. It would be nice to determine the date that the funds are withdrawn. **What problems is Asure solving and how is that benefiting you?** Payroll, but I have thought recently of changing payroll services that fit my needs time wise. ### 19. Also, although I've had to reach out to their support team more frequently than I feel I should have in the first month of my transition, their support team has been responsive. **What do you dislike about Asure?** The migration was a challenge, to say the least. I had to remind them of the deals and discounts that I was promised and get refunded for charges that I wasn't supposed to have been charged. The sales rep apparently didn't get everything signed during the actual signing meeting, so I ended up having to ask them to send me a few other documents to be signed to make sure that everything was being paid as it was supposed to be. **Recommendations to others considering Asure:** Remember that this is a payroll company. The person you sign on with isn't the person you're going to be dealing with as a client, so make sure you have a firm handle on what their support structure is and that it works for you. **What problems is Asure solving and how is that benefiting you?** I'm strictly using them to manage payroll. They've saved me a little bit of money from the last company that I was working with. ### 20. Things did change when they were bought by Asure. Pulling data was the hardest due to our rates for caregivers are held in the scheduling/payer system. **What do you dislike about Asure?** Reporting was difficult unless you knew the tables you needed to pull from. Customer service was less than desirable at time. The ticket system didn't seem to get the responses needed, especially when you have a time sensitive matter. **Recommendations to others considering Asure:** They seem to be able to handle bigger clients now **What problems is Asure solving and how is that benefiting you?** Payroll Processing. ### 22. Additional reports are available as well as analytics. We use AOD for Time & Attendance so we have to import time which can be challenging but overall workable. **What do you dislike about Asure?** Ticket system that is used when I am in need of something, I have always preferred being able to call a live person. I find them to be difficult to use and clunky. You only have the option of exporting created report with limited sort and filter options. It would be nice to create it on the system to be able to decide if it is what you need before exporting it to excel/pdf. **Recommendations to others considering Asure:** Have an in house Payroll specialist and Tax specialist. Not for small companies that need true full service. **What problems is Asure solving and how is that benefiting you?** Prior to this program we used Paychex. The reason for the switch was to add on our employee benefits and on-boarding platform and recruiting platform. That has been helpful to have everything in one program. ### 26.
